My wife and I recently moved into our new house, which had no landscaping in the backyard. In our search for a landscaper, we found Common Ground Landscaping and worked with Tim Noble, Common Ground's owner. Tim is an exceptional landscape contractor. From beginning to end, Tim did what he said he would do. He helped us come up with the design, gave us a fair estimate, then proceeded to build it without interruption. His work included construction of our back wall, fireplace, stone work, pavers, barbeque island, tile work artificial grass. The quality of all of his work was outstanding. If you are interested in finding a highly-qualified contractor who does outstanding work, I highly recommend Tim Noble of Common Grounds Landscaping.

I had been fixing pop-up leaks in my drip system for over a year, finally called Tim to install a new system...wish I had done it sooner. They were a little backed up on work orders so it was a week or two before they could start, but once they started it was worth the wait. They did a professional job, done in just two days for the whole front and back yard, and a new timer unit. They worked with us on ideas for future plants, gave us some flags to mark it and tied up a bunch of extra lines where we plan to expand the yard in the future. Even connected up the potted plants to lines. Worth the cost, they cleaned up nicely, and a month or two later the yard still looks great! Thanks for the work, Tim!

We needed to replace our outdoor dripper system and raise our sprinkler heads.I highly recommend Common Ground. Tim and his crew did a great job with very little mess as they work. You can't tell that they were even in the yard digging. Tim even replaced a water spigot, and raised our sprinklers when we made a request after the job had started. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and worked quickly to get the job done. Love that they are insured and bonded and registered with the state. Also have A+ rating with the BBB. I can see why that is! Nice warranty too!

Tim was great. He fixed our irrigation issue within 48 hours of calling him. Straight shooter. Fair priced. Definitely recommend.

When looking for a hardscape landscaping professional, it can be quite burdensome and intimidating…read morewith so many companies out there. This was our experience with how our new home project started, not knowing where to even begin. We had only been in the area for a couple of months and there were so few in the neighborhood who had even started on landscaping projects that we could compare notes with and ask their opinions, so we looked at a handful online and started requesting quotes. Four Sons Landscaping was on our radar as we saw one of their signs and we had also obtained one of their flyers. We looked them up online and submitted the contact form and were pleasantly surprised to receive not only a quick response within hours, but from someone who was very cordial and professional and seemed trustworthy and interested by wanting to come out to our house and give us a quote. That individual was Kristin, who is one of the family owners, and she scheduled to meet with us and her project manager Jonathan within a day. They both showed up promptly and on time at our home with such a pleasant attitude and showed us right away they were there to help us plan the design we were looking for. Our side and backyard are both very limited in space, so this project was smaller than most the company is used to handling, however, they assured us they were willing to make it happen. Right away, Kristin designed a 3D video of what the end result would look like, both in daylight and at night. We were so impressed with it and happily accepted their quote and start date. We would like to point out the communication was handled very professionally from beginning to end and every one of our questions and concerns were handled with care and addressed without any issues. Jonathan and his excellent crew were happy to help us with any added needs including watering our newly planted trees for us while we were away on a trip and helping us secure our privacy screens which we were so grateful for! Our project included travertine paver walkways in the front and side yard, pathway lights throughout the front and backyard, a newly installed turf with travertine paver steps integrated, and added irrigation to our trees we had already installed. We can't say enough how happy we are with how everything turned out and we were so relieved after going through the anxiety of finding the right team! We highly recommend Four Sons Landscaping and again are grateful for such fine work and professionalism they offered us and the overall satisfying experience of their service !

I was worried at first that they would not be interested in the job as it is a small backyard but they had no such concerns. Kristin and team worked up a great model of what they could do for my budget and off we went! Communication was excellent from start to finish. Work was of very high quality. Their employees were courteous and professional. The end result is a very nice, comfortable small backyard with pathways, lighting, and well positioned planters. I highly recommend Four Sons Landscaping.

It was a big job. JCD came out for an eatimate and bid me about the same as the other companies who took a look, but seemed to be more interested in doing the work than the others. Jonathan came out when agreed upon, and it quickly became clear that he had not realized how long the job would take. He came out by himself the first day and knocked out about 1/4 of the work. Then he asked if I could pay him half the fee, "to bring something home to my wife." I agreed to pay 1/3 the full fee for the day. The next day, he came back with two men he said were cousins. Jonathan seemed ill at ease managng helpers, and complained to me several times that they weren't really helping and were like unruly children. Hmm. They worked most of the day and did finish the job. However, they seemed in a hurry to leave without completely clearing up the mess. Jonathan told me he could come back and rake another day, but I demurred. I threw a $50 tip on my payment, as well, since it seemed Jonathan had had to hire help he hadn't planned on. To my dismay, once they had gone, I discovered my pool was absolutely *chock full* of trimmings--both small chunks and enormous branches. Why on earth would any lanscaper carelessly allow all that mess to fall into a client's pool and then leave it there? I spent several days removing what amounted to nine contractor bags full of material from the pool, and then several more days skimming leaves from those branches, scrubbing the walls, and rebalancing chemicals. There were also 4-10" lengths of shrub scattered all over the yard--my bad, since Jonathan offered to rake and I declined. But when all was said and done, I found myself wondering why that hadn't been an automatic part of cleaning up the job before leaving. The owner was a very pleasant guy, and I waited quite a while to leave a review, thinking that over time I would be less frustrated by the outcome. Did they do the job? They did, butI would not have called it professional. Will I hire them back? Absolutely not.
