At the beginning they were an ok business to deal with. They were affordable, communicative and respectful, finished on time and so on. Until, they completely ghosted our household. After more than 1 month trying to reach them we finally did, they promised they would schedule us. Never got back to us. No reason given for disappearing the first time, and once they finally replied and promised they would they did not get back when they said they would. Untrustworthy is the only conclusion that can be derived. If there was any reason, remotely why they didn't want to work with us, for example: price, they could've discussed it with us and re-negotiate. Alex and his team are honest and did a great job for my Mom's irrigation. My Mom is an elderly woman living on her own. She had problems with her drip system leaking and had called another local landscaping company which told her the valves were leaking and told her a large portion of the system needed to be replaced running $600-$800. Alex came out assessed the situation and revealed the valves were not leaking, didn't need to be replaced and completed the repair for $85. I was very impressed with Alex Landscaping. I had a pretty severe tumbleweed problem in my back yard (more of a dirt lot than "yard" lol) that I had been neglecting for months. It seriously looked like a jungle back there. I called Alex to ask for an estimate. We arranged for him or an associate to come by the next afternoon. Ernesto came by at 1:30, reviewed what I wanted done, and gave me an estimate that was actually lower than I was expecting (and I'm a cheapskate). I was pleasantly surprised & immediately gave him the green light. I asked when we could schedule the service. He replied that he could do it right then! 1.5 hours later, my backyard was clean again & he even sprayed some weed killer all over the yard to prevent fallen seeds from sprouting at no additional cost. These jerks cleaned my neighbors yard by blowing dirt and debris over my other neighbors wall, covering her dogs and yard. Then proceeded to laugh about it peering over the wall. I've used Alex twice, and I plan to utilize him for my next big project for my backyard next year. The first time I ever used him was to re-stake a tree that had been blown over in a storm. I had initially called another much larger company in the area to do the relatively simple task and to also get a quote for my big project next year. For the large project they said they could be at the house the next day, but I only needed the tree staked immediately. For nearly a week the other company kept telling me, "tomorrow, we'll be there tomorrow". I heard this every day for five days straight. Now why would I trust somebody with my large project if they refuse to handle something small initially? I finally said to hell with it and called Alex Landscaping.
