I came here a few different times, and I really wanted to love it, but I just didn't get blown away on any of my visits. On my first visit, I went all-out, and I got some crazy iced coffee drink with added espresso shots, which I usually get at other places, and here it just tasted watered down and lacking in flavor. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, so I came back and tried a regular iced coffee and some of the breakfast pastries, and again, the items I tried were dry, lacking in flavor, and the coffee tasted watered-down. A friend and I had gotten a few items to share (the coconut muffin, the Pão de Queijo, and the stuffed croissant,) and unfortunately, they all ended up getting thrown away. Maybe I'm just bad at choosing what to order, but everything else about this place is great. The servers are so friendly, and the interior is super cute and clean. I have been wanting to try this place for a while and I finally got in here on my lunch break the other day. I ordered an egg, cheese and turkey on an everything bagel. I have never had turkey on an egg sandwich before and it was delicious! The bagel too was so fresh and good. I also ordered an iced tea that was fresh brewed and I took home some Orange Cranberry Bread that looked too good to pass up. I will definitely be back to try everything else! read more

So. Yummy. I walked here the other morning (almost 2.5 miles one way) and it was totally worth it. It was so busy and I'm not surprised! I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. It tasted so fresh and flaky. I ate it outside at the one table because I had my dog. I also got a small latte which was yummy but a little cold! Was in Charlestown looking for food, went on yelp and this place popped up. I went to try it out. Boy, am I glad I did. I drove right by because it is a small coffee shop looking place. I went in and ordered a breakfast bowl and it was fantastic. I also had a banana coffee, which I have never had before and it was great. If I lived North of Boston I would be back. However, the girl who made our coffee (curly light brown hair) was rude and disrespectful towards my friend and I and after handing us a coffee that was 80% ice and completely watered down she proceeded to say that it wasn't her fault that she couldn't remember our order! We asked if we could pay for another one and after giving us attitude and completely embarrassing us in front of other customers she remade it. I honestly love this place...it's Everett's little gem. I'm a huge breakfast fan and dunks just doesn't cut it...at all. The staff is super friendly they even have our order memorized for mornings before work. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and huge..my boyfriend and I usually split them. (The staff is always happy to cut it in half when I ask) Word is they are opening on Sundays eventually. So happy about this..Sunday bunch will be much better with them in the picture. Came by here once before while waiting for my car to be fixed a few doors down - amazing grilled cheese chipotle chicken sandwich and iced latte! Great service as well, and if you decide to dine in, they take down your name and contact info to trace contact in case covid ever spreads from here! Amazing! Today, I came around 4pm to get a sandwich after losing track of time for lunch. They close at 5pm and the cashier initially said the kitchen is closed, but while I got in my car readying to go to Wegmans to pick up sushi, she ran out to stop me, letting me know they will make an exception and are willing to make me my order! Quick and friendly! Only thing is they made my small latte a hot one and not iced, but since they went out of their way to make me my sandwich while the kitchen was closed, it's a minor mistake. I wanted to like this place, I really did. And no it's not my 1st time there. The iced lattes just really don't do it for me whatsoever. Always tastes a bit burnt and not strong enough. Ordered an iced latte with skim milk and look how light it is. When I order a latte I expect it to be strong especially when I order it with skim milk. Ordered a breakfast sandwich to go and it was good but the way they packed it made it super sloppy and all the cheese went on one side. Idk I just think they could've placed the sandwich in the bag a different way to avoid that. I hate writing bad reviews and maybe the coffee just isn't for me but the sandwich thing hopefully can be avoided. read more

This is the best coffee I've had in the Everett/Revere area, bar none. I've never had a bad cup of coffee here, whether it was iced, hot, or an espresso drink. I'm a pretty patient and forgiving person so do not take it lightly that I took the time to write this. I will also be fair.. This place serves great breakfast food, alright coffee, and you can pick up freshly roasted beans while there. However, the place is cramped with too much seating and the kiosk is set up for percentages for tipping. I don't know about anyone else, but tipping 3 dollars for a sandwich and coffee seems absurd. Also it's set up so if you'd like to tip a different amount you look like a cheap ass because they turn the screen around so everyone can see how you tip. Not a dealbreaker... Just awkward. So I change my ordering technique up a little bit to make up for it. Instead I started calling the orders in. Now this is why I'm writing a review. From time to time they'd forget my order. Not a big deal. . I'm patient... However today my girlfriend called 20 minutes in advance to make sure the order would be ready. Not only was the order not ready when we got there but someone else had walked out with her sandwich. Of course mistakes happen but I could see very little remorse coming from a staff that is way overpaid. They could have saved this situation by eating the cost of the order but they just let us walk out after an extra 20 minutes of waiting . ... It was a late day getting to work today. Folks, the bottom line is plenty of people in the world work in stressful situations. Some of them deserve to be compensated more than others. But this is shit... Great neighborhood coffee shop with their own roasted coffee! I've been here a few times for coffee and even purchased their bagged coffee at the local Market Basket. This is a very small store next to a Subway and gas station in Everett. They offer several varieties of beans, sandwiches, pastries, and espresso drinks. I purchased a Groupon for $12 which gives you three $8 vouchers you can use. Today I stopped by for a grande latte and brownie but added two other pastries to take home to get to my total. The latte had good flavor and foam and the brownie was tasty with lots of chocolate chips. The iced coffee is a good choice too! I haven't tried their sandwiches but have heard good things. Also, it's a great place to get Brazilian dark coffee which is nice made with a chemex or mokka pot. My only complaint is that it's a bit loud inside with music and clanging dishes. How often have I been to a place where they *know* their customers? Not often, but the ladies working here talk to and get to know you. The woman who took my order paid great attention to what I wanted, making sure to get my order just right. A few customers came in while I was here and she showed the same care to them that she showed to me. Even when one of those customers had dietary specifics (she was vegan), her order was gently taken and her reasons listened to. I felt a warm welcome here I haven't felt very often. This was the best vanilla latte I have ever had. Ever. And I've had a lot of coffee. The entire drink was so smooth, so sweet, and just the right amount of pick-me-up. I could fly back there right now to drink it! They also have pretty good breakfast sandwiches and homefries, among other things that I wasn't able to try but saw other people enjoying. The ladies that work here are super sweet and this is really a nice place to check out. Nothing incredibly beautiful about the aesthetic and ambiance of the place itself, but it's quaint, relaxing, and offers good fares. My first time at a common ground coffee roasters. My usual drink is a macchiato, but it wasn't on the menu. When I asked, they tried to convince me a latte is almost the same thing. It's not. Also ordered a breakfast bagel. The everything bagel looked more like a sesame bagel and the egg was peppered like it came out of a salt shaker; way too much. Amazingly, we've never stopped here despite passing it many times. We were going by early on a Saturday so traffic wasn't too bad and we pulled in. They have a great selection of sandwiches. I was going to buy one but knew we'd find more things in Boston that we'd want to try. The woman who waited on us was super friendly. They have a variety of coffee flavors. We went with an iced white chocolate. The drink was cheap (cheaper than a Dunkin' iced actually) and came out very fast. I just wish it had tasted good. It was coffee flavor with no hint of the white chocolate even after we shook it up. Only at the end did we find a lot of syrup goo that was really strong and kind of meh. Left a bad taste. If I stopped in again I'd go with a non-syrup flavor for sure. read more
