This is our (daughter and I) second time here. We just love the chill vibe. It is a winter day and the place is a bit chilly. This is not a place where you choose the size of your beverage, but it will come in a lovely vessel. I really enjoyed my chai, blended in house. They have an herbal blend, but you can ask for black tea to be added. I also really liked this lightly sweetened chick pea chocolate chip cookie, which went perfectly with my tea. They have several vegan and gluten free food and drink options. My daughter had the hot cocoa and fruit parfait. She gave it an 8.5, because, she wanted the cocoa to be "more chocolaty" and the parfait to have less jam and for it to be served in an easier to access container. The parfait was served in a narrow mason jar, which made for a pretty presentation, but also made the goodness hard to reach. This is such a cool and quaint place to stop by! My friend and I came here after our morning run for coffee and breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! The coffee was super creamy and I loved their housemade caramel flavoring. The breakfast sandwich was also good. Their homemade English muffin was so soft and the whole sandwich really hit the spot! The service was also very welcoming and it wasn't too busy when we were there. Parking was super easy in the lot and I'd definitely come back to study sometime! read more

Food: Quick stop to pick up some simple bites before a long drive. Ordered a latte along with their freshly made cookie. The coffee and baked good were both delicious! Not something I would purposely drive out of my way to get however if I was passing by, wouldn't mind taking a quick detour to stop by! Cost: I did find the prices to be a tad more on the expensive side. Environment: This place is fairly large- there are tons of seating available inside and they also have a backyard seating area as well! Would recommend sitting outside if the weather is great- it felt very peaceful. Service: Good service- it looked like there was only one person working when I came to visit. Whether you live in the Troy area or you're just passing through, I'd highly recommend starting your day here. I had the homemade caramel drizzle cappuccino and hubby had their delicious maple latte. I'd recommend trying both. The breakfast sandwich was a tasty treat. The English muffin is homemade with local bacon and local cheese. There really is a difference when something is made with fresh, local ingredients verses when it just comes from a box or is prepackaged. You can taste the love. It gave me the comfort I get from eating something freshly made at grandma's and my grandma could cook and bake so that's a real compliment. That takes me to some of the snacks we sampled. The cook was kind enough to ask if we wanted a warm chocolate cookie right out the oven so of course we said, " Yes!" It tasted like a chocolate brownie with a nice crisp--sweet but not too sweet. Located on upper Hoosick Street not too far from Stewarts going east on the left-hand side of the street, this unique establishment serve up a unique mix of coffee, tea, cookies, egg sandwiches and cereal, fruit and other assorted baked goods, in a very elegant establishment. When you first drive in you start to see how unique the shop is, by the quaint and neatly spacious and well setup seating area outdoors. As you walk in the shop, you see the very beautiful wood floors throughout it, with the many pictures and musical instruments that fill select areas in the shop. It does have that very home like welcoming feel to it. I spent the time admiring the quaintness and beauty of the shop as I waited for my meal. I ordered ahead using the Mealeo app ordering a large maple latte and and egg breakfast sandwich on a homeade breakfast English muffin with cheddar and bacon. I also ordered a 12 oz bag of very fresh roasted(only 6 days old), Ethiopa bean coffee produced by Brewtusroasting out of Delmar, NY. The coffee maple latte was very good, as was the egg, bacon and cheddar on the fresh baked english muffin. All were reasonably priced and staff was very friendly and informative about the brewing of coffee. I also couldn't wait to try grinding the newly bought coffee beans, brewing and sampling it when I got home. The newly ground fresh brew coffee was delicious. There's something about fresh ground coffee that is heaven scent. I will surely return there soon for many more of their delicious breakfast treats, teas and coffees. Well done! read more

Showed up just before 2pm (Yelp listing said they were open until 3pm) walked in and we're told they were closing at 2! But she said she'd be kind enough to take our order and "accommodate" us!? Coffee was very good. The "Bakery" items not so much....both the cookie and apple dessert were very dry. The apple dessert was made with apple sauce (expected apples...after all it's Fall!) I've driven buy this cute shop multiple times on the way to hikes, finally made it in. How cute and you can get a pour over. AND.. happens that the coffee comes from my favorite roaster, Brewtus in Delmar. So that was delicious and so well done! Lovely hand crafted pottery for sale (bought new mugs) along with the full line of products from "Underground Alchemy" in Troy. Bought all of the baked goods in the case. That's for tomorrow's breakfast. This is just such a lovely space, wish I lived closer. Will absolutely be back. read more

Stopped by on the spur of the moment. Very small place and not really a bakery: they had a large maple cookie, scones and biscotti. Mostly breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I got one homemade English muffin which was the best I've had, plain not toasted. I was told it's made with several types of grains. It was slightly sweet and very yummy. Dana and Chris are always killing it! Every time I come, I'm met with warm greetings and great food. Their coffee is always made just how you like and they're more than willing to make any adjustments; if you have dietary needs. The wait time is always quick, which is great for when I'm in a hurry to take my coffee to go. We are so excited that Brunswick has a new bakery/cafe. And what a beauty it is! The lovely house has the original hardwood floors and sparkling clean tiled bathrooms. There is a cozy private area for 2-4 and a larger main room, plus a front room - all are inviting. The coffee is divine. I had a mocha made with excellent quality Mexican cocoa and French press coffee. They also offer hot mulled cider - which was very tempting. The owners plan to have live music. I hope that they do exceedingly well in what might be a location that one could pass by - right before the new Stewarts (on the right) heading toward Troy. Yummy cookies! read more

Stopped by today on a road trip from ME to NY- the crew was really looking forward to some pastries or a nice loaf of bread to take home & excited by the 'artisan bakery' name. - A bakery is an establishment that produces and sells flour-based food baked in an oven such as bread, cookies, cakes, pastries, and pies. The menu is primarily coffee beverages, with a FEW choices of high quality baked goods. We're not sure what to call it - cafe seems generous given only one sandwich on the menu. I am giving it four stars because it was cute & clean but we were so disappointed in the limited selection we didn't actually buy anything so can't rate the food. read more
