They could have charged me anything, yet chose to be HONEST! They only charged a reasonable diagnostic charge and sent me on my way. I was treated warmly when entering and told to bring my dog in while waiting. She even gave her treats and belly rubs. The technician took my keys to drive the truck to the shop for an estimate. He returned less than 10 minutes later and I joked that he must be finished. HE WAS!!!!! They did not try to gouge me with the industry standard and simply charged me for the bulb. I reminded them that I did not live in the area so no repeat business opportunities. They simply laughed and said that would be it. Installed a receiver hitch on a BMW X5 and did a custom fabrication job , converting an obsolete (but expensive) BMW bumper mounted bike rack into a beautifully crafted standard hitch mounted rack. They were professionally fussy about the details on the receiver hitch installation- didn't want the replacement bumper rivets to look 'shitty' and strongly suggested that I come back later in the afternoon so they could order and install color matched BMW replacements. Perfect! The bike rack revision was one of a kind Rube Goldberg project that I thought up, clearly not in their regular line of work, but they took up the challenge and knocked it out of the park with a considerable display of ingenuity, craftsmanship and professional pride. I couldn't be happier with the results. This is a shop full of professional car guys that I'd be very pleased to work with in any major service or automotive repair project.

With the cars being so old most auto repair shops will not even look at them and if they do, they are not usually able to complete the work. So, when I called Wayne's Automotive Center, I was very skeptical when I was told to bring them in, and they could do the work. As I walked in the door I was greeted by Tiffany Hutchinson, a service advisor. As soon as I talked to her, I could feel an auror about her that just spelled out that she knew exactly what to do and direction to take with my cars. She got Walt Corbett a service technician to look at the cars. Walt is an expert on older cars. His father taught him how to work on them. After he examined them, he had a very thorough diagnosis of them with parts required. He went over in detail what was required and showed me each issue. I want to share my experience with Wayne's Automotive Center and specifically Tiffany and Walt because I know other people are looking for such a company and individuals to work with. Normally, the price is less than taking it to the dealer. If you wait in the waiting area, they offer you coffee or water. They even like a good joke. We have always received good quality service, and if the cost is above the estimate, the call before performing the work. If you want your car repaired with quality, bring it here. This is our go-to repair shop. I heard they can fix Harleys, too.
