Bought a Boker knife from the I-45 store on July 17th. A few days later the knife stopped functioning as intended. I had my receipt and waited til I was in the area again to stop by tue store and return the knife. On August 01st I stopped to return the defective knife and was told that the could not replace the knife because I was passed the 7 day return policy. There is no such warning on the receipts from this store, just a small sign by the register. I have bought many knives from this place but will not buy another. If you can't find military gear here, you're definitely not looking hard enough. The prices of most stuff is pretty good. Don't walk in expecting a place with fancy shelving and elevator music! Being in this place is like being at a small, indoor flea market without all the booths. I like it because the staff is nice, it's loaded with gear and memorabilia from all branches of the military, they have a seamstress on-site, conceal carry gear, boots, and they have paintball gear here. I was like a kid in a "camo candy store." This place is a lot larger than it looked from the outside. They have great military surplus clothing, packs, uniforms, knives and other assorted gear. While I was shopping there were several police and military people that came in for sewing and embroidery on their uniforms, so that seemed to be a big part of their services. I went home with a camo shirt and cap for my son, and a bright, colorful new US flag to hang in front of my house for 9/11. read more

Came here in search of green silkies for a suicide awareness march I'm doing soon and this place is massive! They have a bunch of new and used items, but they all are priced the same somehow. They didn't have what I was looking for, but I did come across some interesting items I didn't think I'd find again. The workers weren't extremely helpful and no one greeted you when coming in. They have an embroidery department for uniform name tags and patches and a huge selection of children's items including mini uniforms. read more

These folks are awful to deal with. I purchased something on line. My credit card had a significant amount of fraud during the payment cycle for these folks and they were misidentified because their name (Command Post) does not match the website (Army Surplus). Long story short, their bank charged them for the fraud investigation and, without my consent, they passed that bank fee on to me. So, we are now in another dispute over payment. They sent harrassing emails which were absolutely ridiculous stating they would prosecute me to the fullest extent for their bank charge. They were paid for their merchandise but then just wanted a little more I guess. Unbelievable! My advice, buy local, do not buy online from these folks, and if you live in Texas buy from someone else. BAD, BAD EXPERIENCE. read more

The selection here is excellent and the owner's a great guy. Unfortuantely, the woman he has running the place is a real scumbag. I purchased a belt that turned out to be frayed around the grommets and which I needed to exchange for a more durable model. She initially agreed and let me go back to get a different belt. When I got back to the front, she accused me of damaging the belt and refused to exchange; I also discovered that, while I was away, she'd ripped off the buckle so that she could accuse me of even further damaging the item! Further still, she refused to get the manager out of the back room for me, which meant I had to go home and call to try and speak with him... Which might have worked if she also weren't the receptionist! She refused to transfer me to the manager over the phone, coming up with excuses like "I handle the problems" and "He doesn't want to be bothered." I finally got to speak with him by coming back to the place when he happened to be out front, but the woman kept lying to him and herself pointed out the missing buckle. He tried to handle the situation fairly but said that he had to take his employee's word, which I understand. It's just too bad the employee is a complete liar. read more

I tried to place a couple orders "two" because the online site wouldn't let me order everything on one shopping cart therefore I had to place two orders. I sent them to my good friends house and the web site let me have a billing address and a separate shipping address. I spent over $420.00.... I get an email later after they charged my card stating they couldn't send my order to a different address so I call them. I explain the problem to the girl on the phone who didn't know what to do so I got put on hold several times as she talked to the Manager Stephanie... Instead of Stephanie getting on the phone she relayed messages. I insisted on speaking with Stephanie and asked her so people cant buy gifts for people and send them to them and she stated yes if it is one item and for around $5.00.... Really I asked her what can we do right now to verify who I am so I can get my order.. She said send to your house... If I wanted at my house I would have ordered it that way. I told her I was going to share this with my veteran groups etc that she wouldn't serve me and that I am a veteran of Desert Storm she didn't care.
