Sofie was my primary massage therapist, and she was very good. She checked multiple times my tolerance for pressure and was hands on for the entire time. Alice took over for the last few minutes because I had cut into someone else's appointment, and she was also very good. Walked out an inch taller, and my back was feeling good. Atmosphere: pleasant room decor, soft music, water sounds. Fortunately, I waited to post this review, because I completely forgot my ankle for a few weeks. Then come multiple phone calls--one to confirm you understand the service, another to ask the same questions already answered in the intake form, and yet another the week of the appointment to reconfirm attendance. In total, this resulted in two emails and three phone calls for a single appointment. This has happened during all three of my visits for the same treatment, so it is clearly not a new-client issue. The process is excessive, inefficient, and far from relaxing--especially when simply trying to schedule a massage. I have visited other spas, including Woodhouse locations in other cities, and have never experienced this level of repetitive outreach.

I was a walk-in, and they had a room available right away. I went with the 60-minute "neck, back" massage, but it ended up just being a whole body massage (Not mad at all). You start off with a bare back with a towel draped over you. I asked the masseuse for lots of pressure, and she definitely delivered. It started with getting the blood flow going - basic kneading motions around the scalp, neck, shoulders, back areas. Eventually, she moved onto legs, arms, and gluts. Pressure stayed firm the entire time; she was one tough lady! At one point, she even sat on my legs and relieved all the knots, haha! Towards the end, it was more of a Swedish-style with some oil, which was wiped with an amazing hot towel. When I thought my hour was up (It felt waaaay more than that, which is a good thing!), she had me flip over for the last 10-minutes for my shoulder, neck, scalp massage. It was absolutely divine! The technique is much firmer (elbows, arms, hands all go into it), and maybe some people might find it slightly uncomfortable with the glut massage (?) (Used elbows and such); it's very professional though and loosens you up like a noodle! Overall, best massage I've received and it's very worth the price. Will return again soon! :)

It's difficult to communicate as they don't speak much English but I can tell they are absolute professionals and really know what they're doing. I just admit it was a little rough but never painful.
