It's difficult to communicate as they don't speak much English but I can tell they are absolute professionals and really know what they're doing. I just admit it was a little rough but never painful. I could tell he was working on the deep muscles and tissues not only in my foot but in my ankle and calf. I walked out of there with no pain and my foot feels 100% better. Although everyone was nice, I do not recommend this spot. My mom & I got 60 minutes of reflexology on Mother's Day. The man massaging my mom was answering phone calls & texting throughout the entirety of the massage. We both have bruises on us from how hard they were massaging. This place is OUTSTANDING. I live in Cali & was in Lexington on business. I was looking for a place like this- we have them all over the place here- but this is the only one I found, and was 25 minutes from my hotel. I went anyway, and I'm so glad I did. If you're not familiar with this type of massage, you'll be in an open room with lots of recliners. You get a foot soak while having your head, neck & shoulders rubbed. Then an amazing foot rub, followed by arms, legs, back, and some more shoulder work. I had an hour combo massage for $50. The place is sparkling clean, the soothing music is playing softly, the two employees are so very nice. It's a great way to escape for an hour. There is a bit of a language barrier, but nothing serious at all. I LOVED this place. read more

I usually don't go out of my way to write Yelp reviews, but I definitely want to write one for this business. I've gone to many massages, but this one has been the best experience by far! I was a walk-in, and they had a room available right away. I went with the 60-minute "neck, back" massage, but it ended up just being a whole body massage (Not mad at all). You start off with a bare back with a towel draped over you. I asked the masseuse for lots of pressure, and she definitely delivered. It started with getting the blood flow going - basic kneading motions around the scalp, neck, shoulders, back areas. Eventually, she moved onto legs, arms, and gluts. Pressure stayed firm the entire time; she was one tough lady! At one point, she even sat on my legs and relieved all the knots, haha! Towards the end, it was more of a Swedish-style with some oil, which was wiped with an amazing hot towel. When I thought my hour was up (It felt waaaay more than that, which is a good thing!), she had me flip over for the last 10-minutes for my shoulder, neck, scalp massage. It was absolutely divine! The technique is much firmer (elbows, arms, hands all go into it), and maybe some people might find it slightly uncomfortable with the glut massage (?) (Used elbows and such); it's very professional though and loosens you up like a noodle! Overall, best massage I've received and it's very worth the price. Will return again soon! :) read more

Foot Relax is a therapeutic escape right off Nicholasville RD.. Today was my first visit & I was so impressed that writing a solid review of my whole experience there was a must! I have driven by this location for months, it's on the opposite side of the shopping center of Applebee's. This past week was a great one for my business, but it WORE me out.. I was truly in need for a good massage. I searched Yelp of course & they had solid reviews, good pictures too, so I made a quick call. Surprisingly they got me in within 30 minutes of my call & seemed thrilled to take my business. Great! I arrived at their location, plenty of parking, easy access, nice building. They have all of their pricing up front which shows all of their services, they offer more than just a foot massage! I chose the 70 minute combo massage, for only $50! I know this is a great deal from previous trips to other massage places in Lexington, KY which can get quite expensive. They offer Asian massages, which are in my opinion so much better than what others offer in town. Lynn, directed me to one of their cloth, pillow comfort chairs and placed some nice warm water for my feet to soak into while she started on my neck. The chairs are placed in an open room with 4-6 other chairs, there is plenty of space in between to have a comfortable distance from others. After she finished massaging my neck & shoulders, she rubbed my upper & lower legs as well as my hands. Nice ambient music to help create a relaxing feel was playing, this took about 30 minutes. There are two private rooms with draped cloths & a table, the combo massage includes a full body massage. You get to keep your clothes on which is nice. She worked on my neck, back, feet, hands, arms, shoulders, the whole deal! I would consider this portion more of a deep tissue massage which was great, it was not too rough like others! All oils that they use are all natural, and they use a steamed hot towel to wipe everything off when they are finished. They get five stars from me because the price is incredible for the quality, I was surprised that others were not lined up at the door. The local feel that you get here is a positive vibe. There was not a problem communicating with what I needed & where I needed extra attention. Thank you so much, I feel new again! This place is a little hard to find down Nicholasville road but it was amazing! Low prices and great, thorough Asian type chair massage. Accepts walk ins. For those unfamiliar with Asian massages, you keep your clothes on and they massage you over your clothes or sometimes use oil on your skin and then wipe it off. They also stretch your arms and legs and shake them out. Feels great! Staff doesn't speak English that well, so helpful if you know Chinese. read more

Great massage but they need a receptionist to answer their constantly ringing phone. My wife and I have gone three times now. The first time was great but the last two times were not. Our 60-minute massage kept getting interrupted because their phone kept ringing, which lead to our employees having to stop the massage several times in order to answer the phone (at least 8 times during the hour). There are only two massage therapists that work at Foot Relax and no one else to answer the phone (especially when both therapists are busy with other customers). It got to the point where the therapist would try to massage me with one hand while talking to a potential customer over the cordless phone. My massage therapist was constantly distracted which lead to my wife and I being distracted and not able to enjoy our massage. The massage is great when the employees are able to focus on you. When you have to sit and listen to them bicker with other people over the phone about scheduling conflicts, the massage is terrible. I will not go to Foot Relax again until they hire a receptionist or someone else to answer their phone. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! Husband and I received foot massages and then were to go to the massage tables behind the curtains (which were out in the open). I had a male therapist and my husband the female. The female told me to remove my shirt to which I stated I preferred to keep my T-Shirt on. I laid down on the table and the male came back in and pulled my shirt and said "take it off" and walked out of the room mad. I told him I preferred to keep it on. The female came back in the room and stated for me to take off my shirt. I again stated I wanted to keep it on. The male and female then proceeded to grab my shirt and lift it off over my head. At this time I became furious and told them I was done. They tried AGAIN to take off my shirt. I got up off the table and told them I was done and that they should never grab someone's clothes and take them off, especially after I told them 3 times I wanted to leave on. I felt violated and furious. They then stated they would do the massage with my shirt on but at that time I stated I was finished. We even paid for our services up to that point to which honestly we should not have for the treatment and rudeness exhibited. I am someone that gets massages quite often and the customer is always asked the comfort level. They need to learn to listen to their customer's preferences. read more

I initially found this place by seeing a sign on the side of the road. I get massages about every 1-2 months because I have fibromyalgia, migraines, and chronic lower back pain. To say I have been to multiple different massage places in lexington is an understatement. The massage would feel good at the time, but then I would be extremely sore and in pain the next couple of days. Foot Relax uses the Asian Massage which includes stretching of the muscles after massaging that area. I had never had one like this before, but 1) it was one of the best massages I have ever had ($50 for 70 minutes of full body - head to toe); and 2) I was not sore at all with my fibromyalgia the next day at all. I am convinced the stretching makes the difference. Both Lynn and her husband are excellent. The music is so soothing and the general ambiance is very relaxing. Love this place. Will never go anywhere else and recommend it to everyone. read more
