It was hardcore but they continually ask you about your comfort and if you're ok with the pressure. I prefer deep tissue because it's medically beneficial for my issues. I was so sore the next day, which is expected with deep tissue, but once the soreness wore off I felt properly tuned up. She battled my rock-hard knots with all of her might an won! I would come more often if I could afford to but the Groupon is a good deal. And they are very kind people and so appreciative of your patronage. The most uncomfortable, violating, unprofessional, and chaotic experience I've ever had. The front…read moredesk staff required I pay for the massage prior to service. The staff could not speak English so did not understand that I had already been charged $20 to just book the appt. After the lady at the front desk tried and failed to use google translate to understand me, she had to call someone named "yaya" to translate over the phone. I was then charged $55 dollars (with an additional $5 charge to use a card). When the massage began the masseuse had very chaotic, rushed, and aggressive energy- hitting/ swinging my ponytail/ hair with oil covered hands if it got in her way, hitting my face and ear when using her elbow to massage in between my shoulders, aggressively pulling up and down my underwear, all while heavily breathing and grunting. At one point the masseuses private area was literally on top of my head as she climbed on the table to reach over to massage my back. The masseuse lowered/ raised my underwear so forcefully I thought they may rip. When massaging the glute area the masseuse was on top of the table/ almost laying entirely on top of me, the lady from the front desk barged in and proceeded to have a conversation in Chinese. The masseuse was still on my back, my glutes exposed, with the door wide open during the entire conversation. I felt extremely violated!! During certain parts of the massage if I hadn't quickly pulled the small towel to cover private areas (my chest, privates, and backside) they would have been completely exposed. There was no care taken to accommodate boundaries I was comfortable with. This was the complete opposite of a relaxing experience. I was very tense, afraid what line they may cross next. At the end of the massage the masseuse stopped me to ask for tip. I told her that I had a bad experience. She looked at me very confused. I strongly do NOT recommend a massage at Wei Spa. I am a regular customer at Sunshine massage off nicholasville rd and would highly recommend for an all around better experience there.

It's difficult to communicate as they don't speak much English but I can tell they are absolute professionals and really know what they're doing. I just admit it was a little rough but never painful. I could tell he was working on the deep muscles and tissues not only in my foot but in my ankle and calf. I walked out of there with no pain and my foot feels 100% better. For 40 minutes it was only $35 but I have him $50 and it was worth every penny!

She took the time to explain what was likely causing some of the pain and tightness I was experiencing and gave me practical stretches and techniques to help prevent it from coming back. The environment was spotless, quiet, and extremely relaxing from the moment I walked in. I never felt rushed, and it was obvious that she genuinely cares about helping her clients feel better, not just getting them through an appointment. I was so impressed that I've already booked another session in three days. If you're looking for someone who is skilled, professional, and focused on long-term results, I highly recommend giving her a try.

While I've seen several massage therapists at Circle of light over the years, Talea Faircloth is the best; I leave her table with that perfect blend of being completely relaxed (I really try not to doze off, because I want to consciously enjoy every minute ... but ...) and being just a little sore (knowing that she's worked deeply enough to make a difference in my stressed-out neck and shoulders for days to come). Chronic pain has a way of making you change your mind about things. I met Brittany when she was studying massage therapy and she needed someone to practice on who would be a challenge.
