I've gone to many massages, but this one has been the best experience by far! I was a walk-in, and they had a room available right away. I went with the 60-minute "neck, back" massage, but it ended up just being a whole body massage (Not mad at all). You start off with a bare back with a towel draped over you. I asked the masseuse for lots of pressure, and she definitely delivered. It started with getting the blood flow going - basic kneading motions around the scalp, neck, shoulders, back areas. Eventually, she moved onto legs, arms, and gluts. Pressure stayed firm the entire time; she was one tough lady! At one point, she even sat on my legs and relieved all the knots, haha! Towards the end, it was more of a Swedish-style with some oil, which was wiped with an amazing hot towel. When I thought my hour was up (It felt waaaay more than that, which is a good thing!), she had me flip over for the last 10-minutes for my shoulder, neck, scalp massage. It was absolutely divine! The technique is much firmer (elbows, arms, hands all go into it), and maybe some people might find it slightly uncomfortable with the glut massage (?) (Used elbows and such); it's very professional though and loosens you up like a noodle! Overall, best massage I've received and it's very worth the price. Will return again soon! :)

It's difficult to communicate as they don't speak much English but I can tell they are absolute professionals and really know what they're doing. I just admit it was a little rough but never painful. I could tell he was working on the deep muscles and tissues not only in my foot but in my ankle and calf. I walked out of there with no pain and my foot feels 100% better. For 40 minutes it was only $35 but I have him $50 and it was worth every penny!

When you enter, you can enjoy a cup of tea or water before your appointment. Tonight's massage was as phenomenal as the rest. It's easy to book through their site and super advanced booking is not required. I've been happy with every massage therapist here when I pick whoever is available. Tonight I had a massage with Z, who was thorough in explaining sensitive points and attentive to how I was feeling throughout.

The location was new to me, so heads-up, you do have to walk off of the main street to find it. I don't know if the reviews and website were all just so beautiful that the decor and vibe inside didn't meet the idea I had in my head? But I felt the space could use a little more life and warmth. In the actual room I was in, too. I wonder if a loose draped tapestry could help, maybe more mood lighting, some plants in the room--just a little warm TLC. Side note: When booking, I chose a 30 min massage and 2 add-ons. Then the calendar event for the appt said 45 minutes I assumed this was my massage and add ons. It's not. 15 minutes is set aside for consultation and undress (I think.) So because I chose 30 min massage and add ons, I only got to experience the add-ons. So just keep that in mind when you're booking. Maybe don't book on your phone at 1am, lol. Now my actual service was very nice. My hair smelled amazing after. And the masseuse was so sweet, thoughtful, helpful, and informative. She gave me some great tips for keeping up with my health. I have re-booked with her for simply an hour long massage service so I can experience the real thing! Looking forward to it.

Wonderful experience with Mo! My lower back feels fossilized sometimes because it's soooo tight,…read morebut Mo was so thorough and put in a lot of work to help alleviate the pain and stiffness, which has plagued me for about 20 years. I am fit and I am a longtime yoga practitioner. I understand my role in managing these issues, but no amount of exercise can offset 8 hours sitting at a computer a day. A good massage is sometimes the only thing that can help when my body really starts locking up. Ive tried a number of massage therapists who are trained through westernized programs, and I even had a standing appointment with a wonderful reiki master who was a massage instructor for many years. Unfortunately, none of these therapists (who were legitimately excellent) were able to provide much relief for issues like persistent psoas tightness and snapping hip syndrome, etc. Mo is the first massage therapist who really made a difference in my pain and my low back and hip function, after just one session. I don't know if I truly do need deep tissue work or if it just *feels* as if I need deep tissue massage to me because of my usual experiences, but I always ask for deep work and rarely feel as though it's even close to being deep enough. A lot of massage therapists just don't seem to have more than textbook classroom-based understandings of the body, and they tend to try to use sessions to lecture me about the most basic things or assert their expertise, even while they're failing to recognize where my muscles are tight and how to actually address the tightness. That's why I decided to try an eastern-based practitioner this time. This was a fairly vigorous and intense session and I got the exact pressure I wanted/needed, without having to even say anything. It felt as though I finally got some release along my spine. She also did exceptional work on my shoulders and mid-back as well and gave a brief scalp massage. It made my whole week! Lalai is my new standing massage therapy provider and I highly recommend them, and Mo :)

It is located near bars & that later somewhat impacted our experience. We had to ring a buzzer & call to get in which was a small inconvenience. Once we took some stairs we entered a very beautiful & eclectic space. Rooms were really nice & couples room was spacious. Tanya and the other massage therapist that performed my husband's massage (I cannot remember her name) were super friendly & down-to-earth. Great personalities & gave us valuable info on what we could expect from our experience. Room was brighter than I'm accustomed to for a massage, but once we had our heated eye covers it was no problem. Heated neck pillows & beds were great touches as well. Tanya was great & used many tools & methods that were new, but very enjoyable. We were super relaxed & could have floated out of there afterwards! Only issue was I could here the bar music over the music they were playing in our room during service. My husband didn't care for their music selection & said it was a little to fast paced for him. I would recommend this location & will come again but will be more strategic with times (way before bar busy hours).
