My visit was in June of 2026…read more My back and ankle had been bothering me, so I walked in and hoped to get a two hour deep tissue massage. I was settling into a room within 10 minutes. Sofie was my primary massage therapist, and she was very good. She checked multiple times my tolerance for pressure and was hands on for the entire time. Alice took over for the last few minutes because I had cut into someone else's appointment, and she was also very good. Walked out an inch taller, and my back was feeling good. Atmosphere: pleasant room decor, soft music, water sounds. Fortunately, I waited to post this review, because I completely forgot my ankle for a few weeks. The ankle is flaring up again, so hopefully I can swing by again in the next few weeks.

While I've seen several massage therapists at Circle of light over the years, Talea Faircloth is the best; I leave her table with that perfect blend of being completely relaxed (I really try not to doze off, because I want to consciously enjoy every minute ... but ...) and being just a little sore (knowing that she's worked deeply enough to make a difference in my stressed-out neck and shoulders for days to come). Whether you're looking for a relaxing lunchtime one-and-done massage experience or need to establish a therapeutic schedule of bodywork, this is the place to go!

For massages, since it is also an academy, they offer a wide range of prices for massages depending on whether or not you want to use a student, a professional or an instructor. I have had many massages there and always request a professional. I've never had the same one twice, my own decision, and I have not had a bad experience ever. The massages are done in small, pleasant rooms piping calming music. You can request hot rocks and other extras, if you desire. Also, you can select the length of your massage. All of these determine the final cost. The yoga classes are available at different times of the day and/or week and they are easy to sign up for online. They have the yoga mats, blankets, and other props there for you to use. They have classes from beginners to advanced, as well as combinations. My favorite class is called Relaxation and Restoration. It's so calming and involves lots of slow stretching and exercises to reduce stress. Every class ends with a meditation of some sort. Lexington Healing Arts is really clean and cozy. Everyone is helpful and professional; they clearly have a common interest in making sure that people have a good experience.
