I don't want to have to choose from a list of therapists, none of which I am familiar with, and hope I have picked a good one. Then, work around their schedule and hope they show up that day. I just want someone competent with strong hands. Here, that's what you get. I don't want to fill out paperwork before a message, that's work, that's stress, I'm getting a message to relax. Here I never had to touch pen to paper or type on a tablet. I don't want to be looked at with suspicion and be asked to justify my need for a message or explain why I am there. I'm there because I need a message and it says "message" on the sign out front. Here, no questions asked. Let the message begin. I don't want to pay exorbitant rates for a therapist with a PH.D in anatomy. I just need a good message at a fair price. Here, that's what's on the menu. That's the only thing on the menu and keeping things simple is part of what makes it relaxing. I suggest that the owners of the other message places in Lexington pay this place a visit, bring a notepad, and take some notes.

We arrive a little before 11 & the door is locked, no one appeared to be inside (though lamps were turned on), and my calls went straight to voicemail. We waited for around 10 minutes before we finally gave up. Thankfully we were able to find another spa to go to for massages, but I am still disappointed. I didn't think to get pictures of the store being closed, but I do have screenshots of the confirmed booking, my call log, and messages I sent to Red Rose's social media (still no replies). I don't know if there was possibly an emergency? However, there are several massage therapists at this location, so even if that were the case, I don't know why someone did not let us know. I am genuinely so disappointed. I do hope everything is okay & I don't want to hurt their business, but this was just so unprofessional. The location is easy to find with plenty of parking. She offered me something to drink as I filled out all the required paperwork, which came in handy because I was parched! From there, she talked through my paperwork with me to get a better feel for what I wanted out of our time together and to make sure I felt comfortable. The room was cozy and calming, and the massage was wonderful! Because of my particular ailment, she put a heat pack on my back to help loosen things up before she worked on that area.
