I just want someone competent with strong hands. Here, that's what you get. I don't want to fill out paperwork before a message, that's work, that's stress, I'm getting a message to relax. Here I never had to touch pen to paper or type on a tablet. I don't want to be looked at with suspicion and be asked to justify my need for a message or explain why I am there. I'm there because I need a message and it says "message" on the sign out front. Here, no questions asked. Let the message begin. I don't want to pay exorbitant rates for a therapist with a PH.D in anatomy. I just need a good message at a fair price. Here, that's what's on the menu. That's the only thing on the menu and keeping things simple is part of what makes it relaxing. After the lady at the front desk tried and failed to use google translate to understand me, she had to call someone named "yaya" to translate over the phone. When the massage began the masseuse had very chaotic, rushed, and aggressive energy- hitting/ swinging my ponytail/ hair with oil covered hands if it got in her way, hitting my face and ear when using her elbow to massage in between my shoulders, aggressively pulling up and down my underwear, all while heavily breathing and grunting. At one point the masseuses private area was literally on top of my head as she climbed on the table to reach over to massage my back. The masseuse lowered/ raised my underwear so forcefully I thought they may rip. When massaging the glute area the masseuse was on top of the table/ almost laying entirely on top of me, the lady from the front desk barged in and proceeded to have a conversation in Chinese. The masseuse was still on my back, my glutes exposed, with the door wide open during the entire conversation. I felt extremely violated!! During certain parts of the massage if I hadn't quickly pulled the small towel to cover private areas (my chest, privates, and backside) they would have been completely exposed. There was no care taken to accommodate boundaries I was comfortable with. This was the complete opposite of a relaxing experience. I was very tense, afraid what line they may cross next. At the end of the massage the masseuse stopped me to ask for tip. I told her that I had a bad experience. She looked at me very confused. I strongly do NOT recommend a massage at Wei Spa.
