Our bedroom sits above the garage and the airflow was poor to the bedroom leaving the room hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Comfort One (Joel) came out on 3 separate visits. I thought I had to have an entire unit installed for 2nd floor. He determined that we had enough airflow for upstairs. When he looked at the builder grade duct work he spotted the problem. He moved the master bedrooms duct lead from the trunk to the top. That worked! Worked so well now my daughter's complaint has now changed. Well now her room (closest) to the trunk is not cool enough. Guess we'll call you guys back out. Thankfully, Joel installed a damper. Now with a twist of the damper, we can redirect some of the additional airflow. Very happy guys. My AC stopped blowing cool during this wicked heat wave. I emailed Rachel Hamby to see if my unit was still under warranty and about my issue on Thursday night. She called me first thing Friday morning to see if Gary Hamby owner/operator/technician could come out between 10am and 11am to see what it could be. We had been experiencing many electrical heat storms, which blew the capacitor in the unit. Gary even topped off my Freon while there.
