ABSOLUTE PROFESSIONALS!!!…read more I loved that they gave me a quote via Yelp. They were professional and respected our home. We got 2 plugs installed off of an existing plug and a light switch. The plug we routed off the light switch was a little more complicated because they needed to go up over build in and through a stud - not the best mud-job of the hole that had to be made but I'm still not mad. They were really great. The manager followed up with me directly to make sure his people were doing what they needed to & that we were satisfied. He was already communicating with me on Sunday, here Monday morning, and had the team here early Tuesday morning to install both systems. He did a thorough assessment of our needs and gave us 4 separate options to choose from. During the installation process, my dogs escaped through an open gate...(my fault). Alex drove around the neighborhoods near my house for over an hour to help me look for them. We did find them, but that was above and beyond! The team that installed was professional, efficient and courteous. They took great care by laying down tarps over my floors and cleaned up after themselves.

During some bathroom remodeling, we lost hot water. The reno plumbers couldn't identify the issue,…read moreso we called Haynes Plumbing. John was able to schedule an appointment promptly. He quickly reviewed our hot water heater, and asked a lot of questions. Initially we assumed that we had dry fired our heating elements during the remodel, but John continued to ask questions & went upstairs to look over our newly installed plumbing. He quickly identified that there was another issue with the new diverters in our showers that was causing our lack of hot water (service screws hadn't been tightened!). He saved us a few hundred dollars by accurately identifying the issue & executing a quick fix. Lastly he gave me advice to ensure that our reno plumbers accurately installed other new plumbing elements for our bathroom renovation, and took extra time out of his day to explain potential pitfalls to look out for. He truly cares about his clients. John was prompt, knowledgeable, and I would recommend his company to any one.

After asking for recommendations on our neighborhood FB page and reading so many raving reviews, we…read morecalled them out for our 4yr old water heater. We noticed some water leaking into the pan and Jacob, who was great, determined that we had to have one 5gal Expansion Tank and two Temperature and Pressure Relief Valves replaced. Where the problem comes in, is the outrageous pricing. They charged us aprox. $700 labor for a 1 hour job. The total time of the whole job with the consult was about two hours. With half that time being used chasing parts. He said that he didn't have the parts on the truck and had to go to both Lowes and Home Depot to find a tank. Not really my problem and I really don't think it's fair to include that time in my overall job. But, nonetheless they don't break it down. He just gave me an overall estimate of the job which was $914 after a $50 coupon. I asked him if it was a pretty fair price for the area, he said yes and I told him to go ahead and do it. I do take some responsibility in the fact that I didn't look through the iPad estimate myself and I assumed it was a fairly timely project. To my surprise, it took about 45 minutes from the time he walked into the basement with parts and was leaving my house. I was kind of left dumfounded at why a 45 min job cost so much, so I looked up the price of the actual parts. On the high end they would have cost about $200. So basically, I was charged $700 in labor for 45 total minutes of work. I called to speak to them about it afterwards and they explain some sort of overall job price that they use. They charge everyone the same whether your job takes 45 minutes or 4 -5 hours. I wasn't explained this or I would have looked for a second opinion. I thought I would be charged a fair price for MY specific job. That's not how they work I guess. I'm not naive to the fact that they have to factor in other costs, but that's just egregious in my opinion. So my recommendation is to get a SECOND opinion. Don't trust that it's a fair price like I did. I won't be recommending them on any review or my neighborhood FB page and will only caution people who ask. If anyone has questions or would like to see the invoice, I'd be happy to discuss. Just PM me. *** Edited to add that the plumber who came out was very polite and answered all of the questions I asked about the water heater and sump pump. He actually did a terrific job. This review doesn't pertain to him personally or the job itself.
