After asking for recommendations on our neighborhood FB page and reading so many raving reviews, we called them out for our 4yr old water heater. We noticed some water leaking into the pan and Jacob, who was great, determined that we had to have one 5gal Expansion Tank and two Temperature and Pressure Relief Valves replaced. Where the problem comes in, is the outrageous pricing. They charged us aprox. $700 labor for a 1 hour job. The total time of the whole job with the consult was about two hours. With half that time being used chasing parts. He said that he didn't have the parts on the truck and had to go to both Lowes and Home Depot to find a tank. Not really my problem and I really don't think it's fair to include that time in my overall job. But, nonetheless they don't break it down. He just gave me an overall estimate of the job which was $914 after a $50 coupon. I asked him if it was a pretty fair price for the area, he said yes and I told him to go ahead and do it. I do take some responsibility in the fact that I didn't look through the iPad estimate myself and I assumed it was a fairly timely project. To my surprise, it took about 45 minutes from the time he walked into the basement with parts and was leaving my house. I was kind of left dumfounded at why a 45 min job cost so much, so I looked up the price of the actual parts. On the high end they would have cost about $200. So basically, I was charged $700 in labor for 45 total minutes of work. I called to speak to them about it afterwards and they explain some sort of overall job price that they use. They charge everyone the same whether your job takes 45 minutes or 4 -5 hours. I wasn't explained this or I would have looked for a second opinion. I thought I would be charged a fair price for MY specific job. That's not how they work I guess. I'm not naive to the fact that they have to factor in other costs, but that's just egregious in my opinion. So my recommendation is to get a SECOND opinion. Don't trust that it's a fair price like I did. I won't be recommending them on any review or my neighborhood FB page and will only caution people who ask. A pipe under the kitchen sink brought Junior from Haynes Plumbing out to the house for a second time. Junior took no time to fix the leak by replacing the pipe that brings the water into the house and the one that runs the length of the cabinet in the back. We were lucky to discover this local Plumber Company. Upon moving into our new home. While hanging pictures when we discovered a leaking toilet. At purchase we noted the toilets were exceptionally small and my husband is 6'4". So instead of slapping a bandaid on the issue we began to price out installing new appropriately sized thrones... I called a round and got a ballpark over the phone estimate for 2 toilets it seemed really high and since the plumbers couldn't even come over for a week I started shopping around. I called Haynes Plumbing and was greeted warmly by their scheduler. She didn't quote me but said she could have someone come and quote the job that day so I agreed. An hour later a plumber arrived at our door. He quoted me a very reasonable price but had to go to another job so we scheduled the toilet replacement for 2 of our bathrooms. Then God was on my side and they had a cancelation so they were able to come back just a short while later. I was so excited. They were professional, polite, reasonably priced and even followed up. Our water heater went sneakers up on a Sunday. I called Haynes at 8:00 Monday morning; the lady I talked to was competent and we quickly scheduled a visit. We had a plumber out here by 9:30 and a new water heater by 12:30 that day. The job was done at the price quoted (which was reasonable) and the plumbers were professional and courteous. Haynes Plumbing was very professional from the support staff in the office, to the plumbing tech that arrived at my house (Rob). The office staff was responsive and I received a text when they were heading to my home. When the plumber arrived he was very courteous and wanted to help me right away. Arriving at the house they had shoe booties to protect my floors and mask given the pandemic. Rob explained the situation and was very detailed on the issue. They did an awesome fixing work they previously installed. Had them install a vacuum sump pump just a little over a year ago. When into the basement and it was leaking water. I called after hours and left a message. They came out the next day. Retighted the valves and secured the pipes to the wall so they wouldn't shake loose. Best of all they did the fix with no charge as the pipes should have been secured to the wall but they weren't. During some bathroom remodeling, we lost hot water. The reno plumbers couldn't identify the issue, so we called Haynes Plumbing. John was able to schedule an appointment promptly. He quickly reviewed our hot water heater, and asked a lot of questions. Initially we assumed that we had dry fired our heating elements during the remodel, but John continued to ask questions & went upstairs to look over our newly installed plumbing. He quickly identified that there was another issue with the new diverters in our showers that was causing our lack of hot water (service screws hadn't been tightened!). He saved us a few hundred dollars by accurately identifying the issue & executing a quick fix. Lastly he gave me advice to ensure that our reno plumbers accurately installed other new plumbing elements for our bathroom renovation, and took extra time out of his day to explain potential pitfalls to look out for. They did a great job and communicated well. It was especially difficult since I live in Las Vegas and was attempting to coordinate it with my tennant and the technician. I've had these guys come out several times for different plumbing issues for several years, but have forgotten to post a review until just now. Haynes always arrives on time, with super polite service personnel who will diagnose the problem, write up an estimate, and can often fix the problem on the spot. The one time I needed them to come back, because the project required a specialty part, they were there exactly when they said they would be and finished the work in less time than predicted. There pricing isn't the cheapest (cheapest isn't always best), but they are certainly reasonable and for the quality received, I'm willing to pay more than handy-man prices. They are now our go-to plumbers, for our home and our business. I recommend them highly. read more

On 18 January 2022, I paid Haynes Plumbing $1,000 to reconnect an installed kitchen sink, garbage disposal and faucet. Immediately after the plumber's departure I found a leak. I asked him to return. The Plumber looked under the sink said I needed a new faucet. After he departed, he did call back and said if I buy a new faucet he would install for free. A closer look by me determined that the cold compression line was apparently too short and had been stretched in order to make the connection which placed excessive stress on the Blanco Faucet insert, part number 440769. I paid $8.00 at Lowes for a 6-inch extension. Problem solved no more leak. On the same visit the Haynes plumber looked at a leak in the basement shower faucet. He was unable to remove the handle, said it needed a totally new system and must tear through the wall behind the shower/tub to accomplish. I removed the handle with a more robust hex key and paid $18.00 at Lowes for washers, springs, and ball. No more leak. read more
