He was the second contractor to come out and by far the most open and reasonable. While he doesn't even see internet postings (never heard of yelp!), everything he told me was information that I'd verified through my own experiences or recent internet searches for equipment and situations, and was in complete agreement. I selected Phillips to do the work at a more than $2500 cost savings (the first contractor was unreasonably high in price even considering the equipment brand). I selected a 16 SEER rated 2 ton Goodman combination with variable speed fan and programmable thermostat. The Goodman's (while previously not a favorite of anyone - myself included) have come a long way over recent years, with an industry standard full 10yr warranty on the equipment plus an exceptional lifetime (for current owner) warranty on the compressor. The work was completed on a Saturday for exactly the quoted price, and I couldn't possibly be happier with the workmanship, cleanliness or results. Anyone in the King George, VA area should contact Phillips prior to having their work done. They have more than 30 years of experience in the business (I don't know exactly how much) and are just wonderful folks to deal with.

They also charged me for cleaning. When the heating season came, I had the gas turned on, I called C1 again to get my boiler turned on. They still couldn't bug quitedc me to replace both valves for $4k or get a new boiler for $8500. OHA was the second company came to give me a diagnostic. Mr Bryan discovered that the water pipes were completely empty and found a spot on the radiator where the pipes were disconnected. No wonder the boiler won't turn on! However, OHA doesn't repair radiator pipes so he left me this valuable information without charging me a penny! I found a 3rd company came to repair the valves and saved thousands from the 1st company. Forever thankful for Mr Bryan!
