Reviews assist with making a wise decision when having work done in or on your home. Having heard quality reports on Nicks Heating and Air Conditioning, I decided on his company installing a new Heat Pump Air Conditioning Unit. After researching everything I could the most important issue that kept standing out is the installations is key to performance.
The crew arrived on the date and time promised. They placed mats down on the floors to catch the heavy dirt. They immediately began removing the older unit. The area they had to work in was very cramped however, that didn't stop Cody. Cody, a young Technician and small in size was able to fit in areas that a human shouldn't possibly fit. Cody is meticulous and methodical with every effort performed. On a couple of occasions he was not satisfied with the way an item was installed, he would dismantle it and start over. It wasn't that the tasks were incorrect but he didn't like what he seen. One example: was that the unit was not perfectly level so he redone the task until it met his desire. His work is steady however, not rushed. He analysis his tasks and measures constantly. He was assisted by a helper who was new however, it was obvious the helper was observing every move executed by Cody. I would bet that another fine technician is in the making as he gains additional experience. Arron, the Office Manager, also adds his talent when/if the effort requires. Arron arrived on the job and installed filter covers, filters and charged the unit. Arron and Cody explains and answers customer questions taking time to explain different functions of the system. Nick (the supervisor) is extremely polite, very professional and watches his young workforce with a keen eye. I understood why Cody takes his time and ensures his tasks are executed with precision. I witnessed Nick on a few occasions and without notice, check a task behind Cody. Nick checked the leveling of the unit, the wiring and the cleanup, (even offering the young buck an old timers trick for easily skinning the wire coating). Nick's double checking had nothing to do with his trust for his young technicians however, he was adding a quality check on the completed tasks. The cleanup was just as professional as their work they removed all debris and took it with them as they departed. I have no doubt about their service and will not hesitate to have them back to perform additional services. They are fare, priced at the market level and provide quality service.
