I saw the great reviews for Perdue and decided to call them for a second opinion. As we expected, are system was working great. Eric was very good. I was excited to have found our new Heating and Air Company and wanted to sign a service contract. They had a new software system, so they couldn't send it out yet. Over the next few months, I called and texted Eric's cell and the company line where I spoke to an operator. They either didn't respond or put me off. This happened 5 or 6 times. Sadly, I can't trust a company that won't return calls or send out a service contract. Back to looking for a new company. Too bad, because I liked their work.

They also charged me for cleaning. When the heating season came, I had the gas turned on, I called C1 again to get my boiler turned on. They still couldn't bug quitedc me to replace both valves for $4k or get a new boiler for $8500. OHA was the second company came to give me a diagnostic. Mr Bryan discovered that the water pipes were completely empty and found a spot on the radiator where the pipes were disconnected. No wonder the boiler won't turn on! However, OHA doesn't repair radiator pipes so he left me this valuable information without charging me a penny! I found a 3rd company came to repair the valves and saved thousands from the 1st company. Forever thankful for Mr Bryan!

The contractor was scheduled to service my home on Saturday but failed to show up and First American rescheduled for today with the same company and once again, the contractor failed to show up. Considering the rain levels in this area over the last few days, and understanding this is the weekend, Done Right Plumbing Heating Air was the only available contractor. The technician Rick, never answered his cell phone when I attempted to reach him and the warranty company made several attempts to reach him before he answered, and assured the representative that he would come out today! I have since complained to First American Home Warranty and my next call will be to the Done Right Plumbing Heating Air senior official. Best advertisement is by way of mouth! For those individuals requiring immediate assistance, please consider an alternate company before settling for this business.

The price quoted was very fair, in my opinion, compared to my neighbors who paid more and only received a new HVAC. The appt times (between 10am and 2pm) are AWFUL for working people. My HVAC system is now blowing warm air and they never opened a place in the duct work so that I could change the filter. I had an appt about a month ago, but because I was dealing with a flat tire, I couldn't take it. If I had known that it would be THIS hard to get them to come back out, I would NEVER have canceled that appt. The next 2 appts, no one called and no one showed even though I was assured by Jean that someone would be there. This past Monday, Rick called to see if I would be home. This was only after I had placed ANOTHER service request with First American. I called him back because I was at work and I have yet to hear from him. If I don't have something done by Monday, I will have to get someone in that can handle this. I don't think that they have enough technicians and that's a problem. **UPDATE** As of July 18th, I have heard nothing back from Done Right. My a/c unit is now leaking and I have an emergency call into another company. My home warranty company, First American, is giving me the run around on getting someone else. I'm also in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will keep this updated. **UPDATE** As of November 17th, all is well but it wasn't without struggle. I had another company come out in July and do all that Done Right promised to do but didn't. This past week, my HVAC system was blowing COOL air instead of warm air. Apparently, a valve was in the wrong position. First American Home Warranty only seems to deal with Done Right for all of this type of work. Rick came and didn't charge me the fee because it was a simple fix. I also received a refund from First American because I complained about the service received from Done Right in the summer.

He answered my questions via text Immediately even on weekends. He is honest and recommended a dehumidifier be attached to the AC unit. It was installed by his team members and they were outstanding. The cleanup was above and beyond my expectations. When complete, they asked if I had any questions and explained in detail what they did. He coordinated the contract with an electrician. A couple years later, I was adding a cold air return from our master bathroom, and I needed some duct pieces. I called them up and they fabricated the necessary pieces while I was standing there. I have had terrible service from Southern Maryland Heating and Air, and had to fix nearly everything they touched, but Winters technicians are sharp and they do great work. Do yourself a favor and have Winters do it right the first time. Highly recommend!

Before every appointment, they send a text with the tech's name, photo, and even a little bio including their hobbies. It's like getting a match on a dating app, only this time the person actually shows up and fixes the problem instead of ghosting you. The first visit didn't clear the clog, but the next day another technician came out and patiently explained everything. Both were courteous, on time, and really knew their stuff. And while Yelp loves photos, trust me -- nobody wants to see what was blocking my drain. That's a whole different genre. Bottom line: Boothe's brings personality and professionalism to plumbing.
