So over all this hotel was great after searching several places finding a hotel with avaiablity was a God send! The rooms were well kept comfortable and nice! Excellent shower pressure!! Breakfast was phenomenal several choices including fresh fruit cereal muffins bagles toast and pastries even had hot omelets ham and waffles !! The apple cinnamon waffles were the favorite across the board!!! The only reason I can not give a full 5 star review is because unfortunately the evening staff Naomi was highly unprofessional and rude durring ever encounter we had with her . I called ahead and was told there only 1 room left available which was great as we only needed 1 room when we asked about roll away beds or roll away cribs for the toddler and my daughter we were met with huffy and eye rolls before being told they had a pack and play but they would need to find it ... we asked multiple times durring check in if the military rate had been applied she said "yeah i know what im doing " we were then informed that if our kids ate in the rrom and left a mess or open cups that we would charged an additional 200$ for cleaning which i though was odd but okay when we get to our room 312 the ac unit in the room was not working attempted to call the front desk no answer went to the desk to let her know the room was very hot and the ac wasnt working .. again i was met with a very condescending reaponse and snarky tone " did you try the window unit or the actual thermostat on the wall?" I explained i didnt even think to look for a thermostat as ive never seen that in a hotel room before and she smirked at me and said "yeah try that ..." attempted to call the front desk multiple times before reaching anyone and inquire as neither the unit or the thermostat were working.. before i could finish explaining she very rudely cut me off and practically scolded me while saying" I can change you rooms but that's all I can do!" And hung up..we got to our new room as it was late we decided to inquire again about the pack n play so we could get the baby situated. After 5 tries and no answer we headed to the front desk for the 3rd time since check in and honestly the manner in which we were treated almost made us take the L and leave but over all I'm glad we stayed as the morning staff was absolutely amazing ! Kind attentive patient and very pleasant over all. Found out at checkout that the night girl did not apply the military rate despite being given our active duty ID and that many of the things she told us were untrue and unnecessary... As a side note listening to her tell multiple people " oh we only have 1 room left and purposely pressure people into booking upcharged rooms seems pretty unethical and sadly I don't think my family and I will be returning to this hotel in our future travels !!!!! read more

Holy moly, this is the second hotel in 2 weeks whose cable service is seriously messed up...don't stay in room 202 or 200 if a game is on tbs, or tnt you won't catch it...asked the front desk said it should work....it's not...VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! read more

Let me preface this review with- I am a high-end 5-star hotel resort snob. So bunking at a random hotel while we're on the road is not easy for me. We all know that traveling (especially road travel) can land you in some strange places. We checked in very late on a FRI night, as we were on the road headed back to Southern CA. We literally just needed a few hours of sleep before we were back on the road. We have driven through this town before and stayed across the way at the Hampton Inn (which was quite nice, actually). But for a few hours of sleep, the budget-minded hotel seemed more economical so we chose the Comfort Inn. The young gal at the counter was super nice and efficient. She placed us on the first floor. For a FRI night, it was super quiet which I was thrilled about. The price is a bit high (for what this place is), as rooms are super basic. Linens need updating. Some areas are in disrepair and generally in need of TLC. But again, for a few hours of sleep, we are reasonably intelligent people and we knew what we were signing up for when we walked in to this budget hotel. It's not the Ritz, folks, so to have an expectation of anything else would be ridiculous. All I requested was that it was quiet, that there was no riff-raff wandering about, and had a general safe feel. For the short few hours that we were there, this seemed to be the case. read more

Rooms don't look as nice as in the photos. They placed us in a room on the first floor next to the busiest hallway (right next to lobby, and right across from the restrooms). Also found a mystery stain on the bedskirt and crumbs everywhere. Overpriced! But good breakfast. read more

Best thing about this hotel is the location. It's right off the I-80, within easy walking distance of a Walmart, convenience store, and fast food. The hotel itself is staffed with friendly, helpful people. The rooms are clean-ish, but it's obvious that maintenance and attention to detail are lacking. One gets the feeling that the owner hasn't really picked up on what guests are looking for in a hotel. For instance, we got a room with a jacuzzi, but it's also a handicap-accessible room and the furniture is just kind of slap-dash thrown in. The room has at least a dozen points that need the attention of maintenance, and would fairly easily be fixed if the owner had a clue. Adding insult to injury is the fact that this hotel room cost fifty bucks more than any other room we've stayed in all summer -- despite the fact that Rawlins isn't exactly a big vacation spot. read more

Truly an amazing experience. I was traveling with my best friend when our rental car broke down in what I thought was the middle of nowhere. We had to find a nearby hotel and we selected comfort inn, this was a fantastic choice. Our room was extremely clean, had very comfortable beds, extremely clean bathroom, and even a microwave & fridge! The staff here are INCREDIBLE! Super empathetic and friendly! Even the housekeeping staff are very friendly and say hello and make sure that you're good! We needed to stay in the room past checkout due to waiting for our replacement vehicle and the staff here were very accommodating and understanding. I wanted to specifically shout out Maureen (hotel manager) and Saylee (front desk agent). These two ladies were absolutely amazing and very understanding regarding the situation we were in. If I'm ever in this town again, I will definitely be staying here regardless of the availability of the other hotels. For the price you'll get a very clean room and it's supported by a lovely staff who genuinely care about you and the quality of your stay. read more

This one is majorly overpriced. I should have booked the competitor. Fitness center is a fraud. I got up early to use treadmill and it doesn't work, tv also wouldn't work. Only a recumbent bike but who wants to sit after riding in car for so long. They claim to be under construction- but no evidence of actual work being done...it is just all torn up. You have to take bfast back to your room, no seating area. Room was dingy and light bulb in lamp was burnt out. The whole town smells like a refinery, so you might want to try the next town over. read more

You were the one who lied and said you had the police come down to your hotel to confirm the "marijuana smell from the room"... After which we had to call the local police to confirm and found no report and sent our own officer to your establishment in hopes of preventing this mishap for any other family... Did you need our case number? Because I can provide that here for you, if you'd like. Here we are almost two weeks later, still dealing with refunds on multiple transactions & dates within our account because of your staff's mistake. I sleep better than I do at home here. Great breakfast and the best breakfast hosts. Unusual comradery among guests. The in room fridge's freezer section actually keeps ice frozen. The tap water is way beter than other Rawlins hotels. I spend quite a bit of time in this area for work. My experience here is unduly influenced by the peace of mind I have knowing I have such a nice home away from home at the Comfort Inn & Suites. read more

A really nice hotel to stay at. Its as simple as that. I was impressed by the abnormally high ceilings in the rooms. It wasn't the usual 8 or 10 ft ceiling. The beds were cushy and comfortable, which I really needed. The place was clean and modern. The TV was clear and new with a lot of channels. We checked in without a reservation at midnight and got us into a room quickly, so we could get some rest. The laundry room was handy. After two weeks of stinky laundry, this was a life saver. ALSO, we arrived for the continental breakfast 20 minutes late but the lady running it brought out danishes, toast and juice just for us. Thats service right there. I doubt I'll ever be in Rawlins again, but if I do, I wouldnt mind staying there at all. read more

This is an old hotel with tattered walls and furniture. It is not worth the $150 we are paying tonight, but that seems to be the going rate in Rawlins. Also, there is no ice maker on the second floor. The room is clean, however, and the TV works. read more

This was a surprisingly wonderful place to stay. We got a King bed suite. The room has a living room between the bed and bath with a door to separate the bedroom. For my baby that doesn't like to go to sleep if she thinks there is any action, this was great. The kids ate dinner at the coffee table in the living room- just toddler size! The bed was pretty comfy, if a little tall. The bathroom was spacious enough for all three of us to squeeze in and brush teeth. The bedroom had plenty of space to lay out clothes, diapers, and all those other things kids need for a one night stay. Not to mention a coffee maker! The breakfast was awesome! There were coloring pages and books laid out for the kids on a side table to keep them busy while I found some food. Pancakes, bacon, fried eggs, waffles, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bagels, bread, muffins, donuts, and bananas! A great balance. They even had high chairs and booster seats that were clean and in good repair. This was more than I like to pay for a hotel (over $100/night), but I feel like I got my money's worth and then some. The beds were very comfortable, and they give you both softer and firmer pillow options. Breakfast was okay, they didn't have a ton of options and the coffee was mediocre at best. A fine choice if you're staying in Rawlins. If I had a choice though, I would either stay in Rock Springs or Cheyenne, since the hotels in Rawlins are crowded and book up fast, leaving few options to the stragglers who leave HWY 80 road weary and ready for a clean, comfortable room (plus the prices in Rawlins are usually sky high compared to other towns). That said, this hotel was one of the cheaper options and the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast slightly better than most comp breakfasts and the room came with microwave and fridge and laundry downstairs. read more

Can't say enough about this hotel. We were stranded when our RV broke down. We have two large dogs. They were so accommodating. The room was immaculate, well appointed, comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. There is an area behind the hotel to walk the dogs. They gave us a room on the first floor near the door which was so convenient for dog care.
