Our 14 year old Trane AC unit was in need of major repairs so we opted with replacing it with a new Trane unit of similar size. Connie was prompt with a quote for the repair work and the cost of a new unit. That made our decision easier. Within a day, she called back and was able to schedule installation. It was easy peasy on our end but I'm sure she worked hard for us, again. Abraham came out today and within 4 hours, our old unit was removed, hauled off and the new unit installed and tested. I have used this company for years. Usually for annual maintenance, but after many years my system required special attention. To me the test of an organization is how they respond when you have a major issue. CCC did two things that really wowed me...one, in this busy season they fit me in...and two, they had me by the "short hairs" and really could have turned the screws to my pocketbook. They did not. In fact, Abraham came in assessed the situation, identified the problem, had the part, and did the work...easy peasy... but then, he performed the routine maintenance and I watched his attention to detail. I was a customer of this company for many years and I have never had a complaint about them until now. Every summer I would have regular maintenance done on my HVAC system, and last year in 2023 when they did the maintenance the technician found a few tears in the ducting in the attic. I received an estimate from Connie for how much it would cost to have the damaged ducting replaced. I called her to schedule to have the work done, and all I got from her was the runaround over and over again. She constantly had an excuse as to why the work couldn't be scheduled (the worker was out sick, or she didn't have the schedule there.....blah blah blah) she said she would call me to schedule once she knew what their schedule was like. So I waited and waited and now a year later I call to have HVAC maintenance done. I asked her right away if they still come out to Glendale, and instead of her replying yes or no, she asks for my name, so I tell her my name not thinking anything about it one way or another and she tells me no they don't. So why did they come out last year for the maintenance? Why send me an estimate for work that you have no intention of doing? Why wouldn't she tell me that Glendale is now too far and we won't be servicing that area any longer after a certain date? I don't know any business that stay in business conducting themselves in this manner. I'm pretty certain that her telling me that they don't come out to Glendale anymore was a lie since I see other recent reviews of people close to where I am. I have no idea why they don't want my business, but I would have some respect for her if she just told me why and didn't play games like this.....this is what children do. I'm a business owner as well and I don't treat customers this way she lost her husband's company a consistent long time customer who is going to need a new HVAC system soon as well as repairs and annual maintenance done. I'm very happy to give my money to another company that doesn't have such disrespect for their customers. read more

For the most part I've been very pleased with the Trane CleanEffects™ multi-speed HVAC system I bought nine years ago. I like that it uses a cost-effective, reusable filter. I've been diligent in cleaning the filter but recently I decided it was time to get a new one. When I went online to see if I could order a filter I quickly found out that you could only get a replacement through a Trane dealer. Consulting Yelp and the Trane website I started calling local dealers to get the replacement filter. I decided not to call the dealer who installed and had been maintaining the unit because his customer service and technical skills were so inconsistent and sometimes terrible. I talked to 3 or 4 friendly Trane dealers but none of them had the filter in stock and they all told me I could just go to Home Depot and get a regular disposable filter. I thought this was odd advice from "certified" Trane dealers; shouldn't they be promoting genuine Trane CleanEffects™ filters to optimize my unit? Apparently opioids are easier to get than a Trane reusable filter. Finally I called Comfort Climate Control and I talked to Mark. He was very pleasant, professional and diligent about ordering the correct filter for my system. The filter was pricey but when they came to install it and do a check of my system I was very impressed with the Service Specialist, Pete and his assistant. They did a thorough job of testing my system and made some tweaks and fixes that has my system running as well as it ever has. I also like that Pete suggested some areas where I could improve the insulation and efficiencies of the unit. I appreciated his recommendations and wondered why my old dealer never suggested the enhancements. Bottom line if you've got any kind of HVAC system, and especially a Trane, do yourself a favor and call Comfort Climate Control for excellent service at a fair price. read more

Comfort Climate came on a recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. Mark came out and took a thorough look at our old system and made great recommendations on upgrading and replacing. We opted to move the unit to the attic and replace all ducting on the second story. There is absolutely no comparison to our 26-year-old unit to the new Trane system. Increased airflow upstairs, better cooling, and much more efficient...not to mention, quieter! The install took about 4-5 days and they worked with us around a couple of hot spells to keep the old unit limping along through the process. We were only down without AC for a half day. Joe and Albert were neat, cleaned up each day, and were knowledgeable and polite. Connie kept us up to date throughout and helped loads with rebate info and follow-up. I had been referred by a friend that had used them and had a positive experience but it was not the case for me. I had been having issues with my central heating releasing warm air. The tech Abraham was very nice but a bit inexperienced. He kept calling in because he could not resolve the issue. In the end, he got it to kick in and said that it had to be cleaned out to properly work and was charged a reasonable rate of $115 for the job. I was pleased. But when I went to turn on the central heating that night it would not turn on at all. I called in and was informed that I needed a whole new part and was given another excuse of why my system wasn't turning on, even though it did before the tech even came to see it. I feel completely lied to and ripped off. Very disappointed. read more

Called this company today because our A/C stopped working last night. This company was able to accommodate us and scheduled a same day appointment. Abraham showed up and fixed our A/C which we are very grateful for. The best part was that Abraham was very respectful of our home. He made sure to wear our boot covers inside the house and made sure he didn't hit our wall with his ladder. When he went up this ladder he took off the boot covers and placed the boot covers back on when he came down the ladder. We really appreciate how considerate he was and we are glad that we found this company. Hopefully in the future nothing will happy to our A/C unit again but if it does, I will be calling back and asking for Abraham! read more

Called to setup and appointment to get a quote for a new HVAC system. the lady that answered was very nice, she gave me a rough estimate on what I could end up paying. I asked for a quote for a system with a higher seer rating to compare proposals with the other HVAC companies and she stated she would call me back, never got a call back. The pricing was was on the higher end compared to 3 other quotes I received recently. The other companies took the time to come out to my house to take measurements to properly help me choose the correct system that suits me and my wallet. All the other companies emailed me a proposal with the breakdown of the type of equipment I was going to be charged for. This company just did a quick verbal guesstimate. Me personally I would not feel comfortable moving forward with this company to install an HVAC system in my house. This is not a good way to earn new customers. read more

I've used comfort climate control before in the past, they are a great company, prices could be high but the work is worth it..(most of the time). A couple of months ago I needed a couple of smaller things done but couldn't fork out the $$$$ they needed, but my awesome tech Pete Patterson gave me his card and came to do it for me on the weekend for half the price. The only thing is one part is broken, and it's not under warranty so I'll have to pay more money. So next time I'll just stick to the company, Pete was great but I need the promise of a warranty because parts just break sometimes. Great company. read more

Great service with a very professional attitude from design, load calculations, demo and installation of my complete HVAC system. Mark Ramirez did the load calculations and Mario & Carlos performed the installation during the hottest week (over 100 degrees outside and probably way over in the attic) in October 2011. On time, cleaned up every day and left my home in a safe/clean environment during the five days of construction among other contractors doing the installation of 15 windows. I give them 4 stars but in reality they are 5 stars. I never give 5 stars because there's always room to improve or perfect. Yes, I am a perfectionist. They are that good. Highly recommend them for your HVAC needs. Carlos is one damn "wrapper". You won't know what I mean unless you see the finish product on your ducts. Spent 6 months saving, craving, researching gov/public/enviornmental sites in regards to updating my central AC. Had 6 contractors come in from Costco, Sears, private, referrals, no licensed. Comfort Climate was 2nd most expensive and they were not my 1st choice. I even put a deposit for Sears but cancelled when I learned their installers were not actual Sears employees. Gave CC a 3rd call/contact and reminded them I was willing, ready, already heard their sales pitch and they needed to work with me to make me a customer. They did and they did it at MY pace. Joe C. kept his cool when I double teamed him w/ my city inspector friend during negotiations. Mark R was thorough w/ determining my heatload and scheduling crews. Lovely Connie R had very good professional manners in answering my tough last minute questions and working with email (Love it!). Areas of Improvement: Nailing down a schedule only came about 2 days prior to crews coming out. Would appreciate more time to arrange my agent/help to be home. Took a span for 7 days total (over 12 days) to complete job with 3 days of sales/HEERS testing/inspector/specialty crews, etc. Longer than the 4 days estimated but I knew that the more times they came out I knew they were serious about completing each phase of the project...not just a drop in and install quickly job. Pricey but the warranty, quality of Trane, SoCal rebates for only high efficiency output at my specific location, no-hassle, quick response to calls made me feel it was worth the investment. My experience was both good and bad. Pete is an awesome technician and I think he does a great job. He came by and was able to diagnose the problem quickly and was able to fix it the next day. He wasn't here for more than 1 1/2 hours total. I was shocked to see the total of the bill for $275 for replacement of a fuse. I wasn't given any estimate of what the charges would be and they do not give you a break-down of the costs. Although you will get good service, you will pay top dollar so make sure that you at least ask what the cost will be before you proceed. read more

Their technician, Pete, came to my house right on time and before entering my home, he covered his shoes with shoe covers to prevent getting the floor dirty-- which was very thoughtful. Uncomfortable Climate Control for the office management who handled the calls this morning from 9-10 am. After being out of town for a few days, we came home to realize that our air unit wasn't starting properly. So I asked our HOA "Queen Bee" for the number of our air conditioner's company. I left a message over the weekend and called early this Monday morning, desperately hoping to get a technician out today to fix our unit. Valerie answered the phone and said that they are backed up on returning calls from Friday. I understand that it is a busy season for air conditioning companies - especially with the excessive heat in the San Gabriel Valley this week, but she couldn't even tell me WHEN I could even make an appointment. I asked who the manager or the owner was so I could check the history on my account, and she put me on hold, and said someone would PROBABLY call me back when they are free. If I didn't hear back, to call THEM again. So I clarify with Valerie, that she is basically telling me that customers can't make an appointment until the office gets caught up on calls so they can figure out when technicians are free. It could be two days to make an appointment and if I'm lucky after the two days they'll actually return my call. If I don't hear in two days, the customers should call them again. I'm on hold again. Then Connie gets on the phone and states that she's the office manager. She was clearly annoyed by my questions regarding my account before even saying hello. She was rude and condescending and states, they will probably get back to me in two days. Yes, I know. It will take you two days to figure it out. What a joke. read more

Very sad to leave a 2 star review as they did a satisfactory job in the past. I contacted CC to replace an a/c unit at my commercial property. Their response was extremely delayed in reviewing the problem and providing me with a quote. It took about a week of me calling constantly for updates until I received a quote. Once that was sent over, I signed and approved within the hour and asked for an ETA on when a tech can come out. No response. I called many times throughout the next two days for updates but was always told that they would call me back after checking equipment. After the last call, they told me service would be backlogged for several weeks in a tone of voice as if I should have known that. I had no choice but to cancel my quote because our national tenant was contacting other companies. This string of events of merely trying to get updates took almost 2 weeks. Price wasn't even a problem -- I just wanted updates. I understand how busy the summer months can be. I understand that you may not have enough technicians. But I don't understand how hard it can possibly be to let me know ahead of time and just keep me updated, even if you had no set ETA. I was completely kept in the dark. When I did successfully reach my rep, Connie, her tone of voice was so condescending. On the other hand, I sincerely appreciate the receptionist's patience (Michelle). Having been clients for a long time and making them our first choice for heating and a/c needs, this was a sad experience. read more
