I don't usually order from food trucks but decided to give it a try. I went with the Fungus Amongus Pizza and subbed in dairy free cheese. I was incredibly excited for the pie. The pies were ready in a very reasonable time, and we sat down to eat. I first noticed how oily the pie was. The paper circle it rested on was covered in oil and it pooled all around the pie. I went to pull a piece out to sample it and was met with some pasty white undercooked greasy dough. Disappointing was the least I could say. I took a few bites, but the underneath was so unappetizing I decided to go ask for a box and re-bake the pie at home. I did not feel like asking for another or to fix the issue so that is on me, but I was expecting better for the amount of traffic that is happening here. Once re-baked at home the pie was good, not great. But at least I was able to get the crust cooked and blotted a lot of the excessive oil. I don't think I will eat here again, but others seem to really enjoy it, and once cooked properly the pie was average enough for 3 stars.

They don't open until 4, but you can place orders online hours before then. Picked up food around 4:20. By time we got home, the fish maintained its crispness. I was actually quite impressed with how well it was prepared. Nice and flaky but didn't fall apart. The bun it comes on is well proportion with the fish. The only thing I could've went without, was the macaroni salad topped on the fish. However, the food here never disappoints. I'll be back.

Things I wouldn't normally think to put together. The sides were fries or macaroni and cheese. Both of which you could have plain or dressed as you want. Love they had Red Ribbon and Turners tea. You can fulfill your yinzer drink desires. I chose a Cherry Red Ribbon pop, regular macaroni and cheese, and the Old Blue dog. I am very picky about macaroni and cheese, but this one was solid. Not the best I've had but solid. The dog was really good as well. I would never choose those things together on a dog, but why not see their vision and eat it. The only thing I would have liked was a little more blue cheese bite to it. The folks working were super friendly and kind. I think we will definitely bring them back. Plus you are supporting a charity as well which is great.

My wife and I ordered the Big Cheese and the Big Tex and a side of fries. The Big cheese was a little underwhelming in that the Mac and cheese was pretty standard and overcooked, there weren't many jalapeños slices, and the hot dog is just boiled and plain. The Big Tex was also just a boiled dog (no grilling here), but came with more peppers, onions, cheese and had a smoky sauce drizzled on it that was nice. The fries were thick cut and crispy and seasoned with more than just salt so those were nice too. Overall meal was about $17 before tip which isn't too bad but seems a little steep--I take comfort in knowing that it's at least for a good cause.

Their cheese sauce is thick, rich, and the best I've ever had. It is a smooth, well-bound consistency with no hint of the oily separation that plagues so many mac-n-cheese sauces. The asparagus was fresh, and a good balance of crisp and tender. The tomatoes were beautiful and flavorful smushed orange balls. It was a wonderful combination.

For dinner on this day I decided to go with the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese while my wife went with the lobster Mac and cheese. There was maybe a 5 minute wait between ordering and our food being ready and afterwards we headed back to our house to eat. My buffalo Mac and cheese ended up being quite good as both the buffalo chicken and blue cheese added great flavor to the dish. However, as it should be, the Mac and cheese was the star. The pasta itself was cooked nicely and the cheese sauce had a great flavor to it. There was an ample amount of it too and which means that I was able to enjoy Each and every piece of pasta. My wife really enjoyed hers too and we were both pleased that the lobster wasn't exorbitantly priced. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our Mac and cheese and I would be interested in trying more of their flavors.

Not life changing, but well executed. The chips were great, with just enough salt and a substantial thickness. The kind of chip that would easily survive some guacamole. On the other hand, the default salsa that came with the chips seemed off. I wish I would have ordered a side of some other style of salsa to compare, but I also had some decent salsa already in my fridge. The tamale was excellent: clearly made with some care.
