Tender, flavorful, delicious beef Bulgogi Bowl
    Nancy C.

My husband and I love food trucks so we've tried several. Mr. Bulgogi is by far one of the best. Not everyone knows or understands what Korean food is or what Bulgogi means. Korean Food is absolutely delicious. The Beef Bulgogi Bowl is tender, well seasoned, flavorful and delicious steak on rice. The sauce is unbelievable and really makes it. You also get a delicious little dumpling with it. Their desserts (Hotteok) or sweet pancakes) are very good. Definitely try one. Next time, I'd like to try the chicken bowl. Sounds amazing. You can't go wrong with their food. Everything is delicious. Everyone in our neighborhood really loved it when they came here last fall. Definitely check them out.

I stopped by the food truck and ordered the tofu rice bowl and kimchi. I hadn't heard much about Mr. B and didn't have super high expectations since tofu is likely not their specialty, but the meal was incredibly delicious!! Tons of flavor, filling, and unlike anything I've had before. The staff was also very friendly and created a great vibe. I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend.

Have stopped by MR B a few times since my last review. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Happen to be in Schenley Park and notice they were on the CMU campus next to the park with a few other food trucks. Well I couldn't resist. The bulgogi was very good with just a low spice level. Really enjoyed my lunch. Nice to have run into MR B again.

Delicious and reasonably priced! Long lines for the food truck but was glad I waited! The Beef Bulgogi was tasty.... next time will try the pork ! Tofu options for vegetarians!

Great Korean food! The spicy pork rice bowl is fantastic! The spicy level and tasty are almost the same as the best Korean one. Bulgogi rice bowl is excellent. Bulgogi is made with beef. If you want to feel the soul of Koreans, I recommend both dishes. Hotteok is popular Korean street food. Just try it! Today should be the day!

I stopped by here this past Thursday evening with my wife for dinner. Our neighborhood had signed up a number of food trucks to come on Thursdays and this Thursday happened to be Mr. Bulgolgi. Since it's a food truck, there's not much to say about it other than it had 3 workers, all wearing masks and they had a bottle of hand sanitizer that you could use as well. The outside of the truck had pictures of what bulgolgi was made out of and then a menu itself which consisted of pictures and prices only. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with the spicy pork bowl while my wife went with the bulgolgi bowl. Then we also decided to split an order of 8 dumplings. About 5 minutes after placing our order we had received our food and walked home to eat it. The order of 8 dumplings came in a small container with a sauce over the top. Both my wife and I enjoyed them as they had a nice crispness to them as well as a good filling. The sauce, which was a little spicy, was a nice addition as well. My spicy pork bowl ended up consisting of spicy pork, shredded lettuce, cilantro and two sauces over a bed of white rice and came with 2 dumplings. I really enjoyed the flavor of my bowl, especially the spicy pork which wasn't overpowering but left a nice flavor in your mouth. What I didn't enjoy about it were some of the pork pieces were so fatty that I couldn't eat them and by the time that I had finished with my bowl and half of the dumplings, I was still hungry. My wife ended up enjoying her bowl as well as the piece of beef that I tried from it was quite flavorful. The bottom line for me is that I might stop back here again in the future. I enjoyed all of the flavors from Mr. Bulgolgi and while it wasn't expensive, I would like to have been full after eating here.

These guys are the best! This is seriously some of the best Korean food in Pittsburgh, and our favorite food truck BY FAR. The spicy pork is awesome! It is sweet and spicy, flavored with gochujang, a sweet, spicy soybean paste that is from the gods. The Bulgogi is also delicious. Their dumplings, mandu, come with every dish and are delectable. If you are interested in dessert, go for the hotteok. It is like a deep fried doughnut. Amazing! You have to try this truck if you like Korean food.

The best dish ever! Both spicy and soysauced Bulgogi were sooooo delicious. And Hoddeok was the final touch to these great dishes. Stongly recommend!

First tried it in February 2019 while at Hitchhikers at Sharpsburg; tried it a few more times since then. There's no way to describe the food, except for fresh and flavorful. The dumplings have either scallions or some other herb that makes them stand out over all other dumplings I've had in the past. The tacos or bowls are bulgogi and pork and a party of well blended flavors. The yum yum/ spicy mayo they use on their bowls has a kick but it surprisingly manages to not overpower the rest of the flavors. To say I'm a little obsessed with the food would be an understatement. Plus, the people who run it have always been great! Follow their instagram for updates on where they'll be next, you won't regret it!

This food truck came to my office for lunch and I got the opportunity to try a new cuisine. When I got to the truck there was a bit of a line (about 5 or 6 people in front of me), but the guys inside kept the line moving and kept the food coming quickly. I ordered their spicy pork bowl and a side of dumplings. The spicy pork was layered with rice on the bottom, lettuce on top of that, a portion of breaded pork, and a ribbon of sauce on the top of everything. I didn't know they put dumplings on the bowl so I was excited to see they actually did. Cost of the bowl was $10. The rice was the largest portion in the bowl (probably about 1.5 cups) and the pork portion was smaller (maybe 1/2 cup or so). But I found the bowl filling and was satisfied with the portion for lunch. I also had the side of dumplings, which definitely were worth the $4 charge. As for the taste, the spicy pork was spot on. Spice level was similar to a spicy tuna roll in sushi terms (so a bit of a kick, but not overly spicy). The flavor was just delicious. My only critique for the pork would be to get the slices of pork a bit more crispy. Some of them were a bit on the chewy side. The dumplings were, in a word, magnificent! The taste was delicious and they were perfectly crispy on the outside. They may have been one of the best dumplings I've ever had. For sure will get more from this food truck when I see them again.
