Cleaning wasn't ready when promised. Staff is rude and unapologetic. Will not use them again and do not recommend their services to anyone.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the level of customer service I recently experienced at the Comet Cleaners located on FM 1463. As a paying customer, I expect professionalism, timeliness, and clear communication--none of which were demonstrated during my visit this morning First and foremost, the staff appeared disinterested and inattentive. Rather than being greeted or assisted in a timely manner, I was left waiting at the counter while employees engaged in personal conversations or ignored my presence altogether. When I was finally acknowledged, the interaction felt rushed and dismissive. Additionally, there was a clear lack of accountability for the stain on me of my dress is appalling. I picked up the dress in june with stains and returned for them to rectify it , the lady told me she will do it for free then turn around and said i picked up the dress 3 months ago, i have used this business for over 2 years and i won't be going back. I'm also reporting to better business bureau. The quality of customer service reflects the standards of a business, and unfortunately, this experience has made it difficult to trust Comet Cleaners with my garments in the future. I urge management to take these concerns seriously and implement staff training focused on respectful, customer-centered service. Until meaningful changes are made, I will be taking my business elsewhere and I advise others to do the same. read more

The website states same day service, when I called this location to ask if that meant Saturdays as well the person who picked up was extremely rude. She said someone else already called asking them the same thing and that they don't offer that. When I explained I don't know who called she brushed me off and hung up. So even if I wanted to try to go during the week this turned me off. Maybe call the franchise site designers to have them say expect Saturday then people wouldn't call asking the same question. read more

I do not recommend this cleaner. They ruined my 300 dollar jersey. Numbers were destroyed and strings hanging off the jersey. Then I decided to give them another chance and took 5 dress shirts and 5 pair of pants and was charged over $80! I was livid! I've never seen this kind of charges from any dry cleaners. I will never spend my money here again. Totally took advantage of me! And I wondered why it was always empty! It is not okay to take advantage of customers ever! read more

$116 for 16 items! I asked for them to just be pressed but they dry cleaned them all which is fine but that price is outrageous.

I will give this cleaners two stars because I have never had an issue with my clothes not being ready or damaged. My issue is the front desk person. It is always the same woman each time I go. The first couple visits she was friendly enough but each visit it got worse. She wouldn't even allow me to use the trash can to throw away an empty Starbucks cup one day. I was coming to pick up my clothes, and asked to use her waste basket to dispose of my cup. She said no and directed me to a waste basket that was supposed to be outside the building. There wasn't one but a nice gentleman who works for the cleaners possibly a delivery driver saw me, shook his head and said just give it to me. I got a vibe that he thought it was ridiculous too. He took it right back in the cleaners where the woman said I could not use the trash and threw it away. When I went back inside she said " oh I'm sorry I didn't know you were a customer." Not sure how she didn't know but I digress. Even if I wasn't a customer, what's the big deal about letting me toss an empty cup. It's stuff like that ... little passive aggressive things. That is just one example. There have been more. Not outright rude, but definitely like she could take or leave my business. I never make a big deal out of these incidents giving her the benefit of the doubt. However, after a year or so and quite a bit of money spent I decided to take my clothes elsewhere. This cleaner is irresponsible regarding the promised date/time to return the clean garment. Moreover, when we finally picked up the clothing, the front desk person arbitrarily raised the stamped cost of the service in the ticket we had to claim the service. Stay away from this store. read more

If I could give this cleaners a -0 that also would be too high for them. The front desk associate is extremely rude they held my cloths hostage for four days after not being able to complete the job that was requested. I got there on Saturday, February 29 at 3 PM to pick my clothes up the associate saw me coming close the door turn the alarm on and told me she was not able to speak to me because it was after hours. I dropped my clothes off on Tuesday for an alteration that was promised on Friday that they were unable to fulfill and had me waiting outside their store because she had guests from India at her home and she could not wait for her alteration team to get there. Low and behold they never turned up. I'm still in the process of trying to get my items. Front desk associate is extremely rude this Cleaners is the worst Cleaners in the entire Houston area. Would not recommend this cleaners to anyone read more

I took a pair of baseball pants with elastic cuffs to be hemmed. When I went to pick them up, they were not done? They seemed to have a problem with the measurement???? The pants were sent back for hemming, and although I specifically requested the same type of hem, the were not! In fact, the hem is AWFUL! My grandson will not even wear them. I was told it was human error, and offered a $5 discount-I think not! Will never go back there!!!! read more
