They ruined my dress that retailed for $200. The dress came back with fabric scuffing. The fabric wasn't even delicate, it is polyester. I only wore the dress once. I do not recommend this business. read more

No not come here!! These people are crooks- they quote you one thing and then when you pick up they'll charge you another price and will hold your clothes hostage if you don't pay. Very shady business practices- never again! read more

I'm not sure why the bad reviews? Everyone is super friendly. Drop off before 9:00 am and receive your dry cleaning back the same day. Shirts are always perfect. Lightly starched and organized. Pants are perfect (no crease, a personal preference) I also like getting notified that my order is ready via Text. Let's face it life gets busy and a reminder comes in handy. read more

Did the job, but a little expensive. Nothing bad, nothing great. Did what they were paid for so that's all that matters.

Comet does good work and has consistently had better prices than the other dry cleaners in town. Quick turnaround times and I've always been treated well by upbeat staff. If you're in the Ridgelea area I would recommend them. read more

You never know what the price is going to be. On one visit the shirt is laundered, on the next it will be dry cleaned. And when they dry clean it, they always say it has to be dry cleaned. And strangely the previous visit it was laundered without any issue. I asked them about this and the woman behind the counter just stopped talking to me. Literally, she simply stopped talking to me and went to the back of the store. They also aren't capable of following the simplest directions. Asked them could they box some shirts because I was traveling on business. Not surprisingly got them all back on hangers despite the fact that there was a box tag on each of the shirts. These guys are terrible. Take your business elsewhere. Completely untrustworthy. Absolutely a terrible business. read more

I normally use another cleaner but this was on my errand route. I've used them before and it was fine. I dropped off a simple cotton dress to be cleaned and ironed. I picked it up the next day and it had been cleaned but it was more wrinkled than when I dropped it off. It looked like it had been folded in half and pressed. Horrible creases where there should not have been any creases. Seams weren't even. I was very specific when I dropped it off that I wanted the wrinkles steamed or ironed out. Next time I will just take the time to do it myself, since I ended up doing it anyway. Lesson learned. Look over the garment before you leave. Won't be back. read more

Comet Cleaners - You can see the outline of a safety pin they put on the tag pressed into the fabric. And it doesn't even look ironed. - Laundry Services Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Dry Cleaning prices are a little expensive but there are specials and discounts that make a huge difference. The drive thru service is convenient, fast and welcoming. They always provide great quality service. Check out their same day services; very convenient; just make sure to drop off before cut off time. Thanks for your service read more

DO NOT COME HERE - they lost a pair of our suit pants which was part of a set so now we have to buy a entire new suit. After they acknowledged they lost the pants, they asked that we fill out a form about the item lost but said to come back to see if they have found the pants. We just came back a week later and now they are saying they don't have that form and giving us the run around. NOT WORTH IT. I would give them zero stars if possible. read more

I've used them a couple times and they have been great. Very timely, well done and fair prices. I have had cloths laundered and dry cleaned. Their "heavy starch" is good, it actually holds its press. read more

Took in items to be laundered and jeans to be starched. I was told everything would be ready in 24 hours. I had to prepay for all of my cleaning. I received a call the evening on the day of my drop off and was told instead of items being ready in 24 hours, it would possibly be up to 3 days. I informed the young lady that I would come and pick up my items and she could refund my card. She said she would put a rush said items and it would be ready by that next evening and I would receive a text. I never received a text and called on the following day(day 3 past drop off) and was told that the items just arrived and were ready. Upon arrival I was charged for the startched jeans after prepaying on the original drop off day. I had to delay my departure time due to the 24 hours turning into 2 days. I would not recommend unless you want to pay almost 100 dollars to have clothes laundered and have items not ready in time. read more

Awful. Awful quality, awful customer service, JUST AWFUL. I was given a $300 pottery barn blanket for a gift and like an idiot, I machine washed it. Completely ruined the fur and damaged the texture of the blanket. My husband surprised me with a replacement and this time we were careful to follow the instructions 'dry clean only'. We've taken this blanket in on 1 other occasion to this Comet location with no problem. This time however, it was returned to us destroyed. It looked and felt worse than the blanket I laundered myself. My husband has tried for weeks to reach the manager and even submitted their required form for damaged property. After chasing the manager down for a month, tonight he finally called back and will only refund the cost of the cleaning. My only consolation is that with this kind of service, they'll surely be out of business soon. Save your money. Use your gas to drive to a business who knows what they are doing and has the integrity to at least own up to their mistakes. read more

Jack and his crew at the Comet Cleaners in Ridglea on Camp Bowie are the best! I use them personally for dry cleaning and laundry services and I also use them professionally for dry cleaning - I have a large retirement community nearby. Comet will pickup and drop off - the staff is super friendly and VERY accommodating to my residents' individual needs and preferences. read more

My husband hated this place bc they can't do French cuffs. They press them completely wrong leaving bizarre creases. I insisted he go back because of an upcoming business trip. Since our normal cleaner is closed on weekends, we thought we'd give comet another chance. On arrival we asked if everything would be ready tomorrow and they said yes by 5. We showed up the next day at 5:30 and they rudely told us they were too busy and just started his shirts. It was as if we inconvenienced them by showing up to collect the completed shirts the next day (oh, the humanity!). I'd give zero stars for that service. A shirt cleaning at a hotel is $12 a piece, so thanks for wasting our money. read more

AWFUL! I believe in giving several chances - this cleaners is just BAD. They have damaged several pieces of my clothing to the point that I can never wear them again. I took an expensive white collar shirt and it was returned with a big yellow spot on the chest area! They have broken and torn off several buttons. When I bring it to their attention, they tell me the buttons will be replaced with whatever cheap ones they have a set of and took another 3 days to finish. I REFUSED because I permitted this one time before and got the ugliest cheap buttons that Jo Ann Fabrics carries. The clerks here dont care when you complain. Never again, go down a few blocks and salvage your clothes! read more

Have loved them until the last two weeks. First they lost a scarf but that was fIne. But seondly I sent a sweater in and I read how it should have bee proper cleaned and it said it was fine to dry clean. It would have fit my dog. I tried one more time as this Comet has been my go to for years and two jackets that are identical just a diff color came back matted or melted? The black one had had white stuff all stuck to it plus other debris. Not only were they ruined but what or which other people's clothes do they wash with mine before dry cleaning? I'm sad to say after years of support I will not be back. Three sweaters in a month. That's a lot of money. read more

This place deserves less than 1 stars. HORRIBLE, awful service. I have actually been going here for awhile because it's convenient and they have a drive through. The service has never been good and in fact they have lost clothes a few times. However, yesterday I had the worst experience yet. I brought my comforter to be laundered. (There website said they wash comforters) When I walked in the door , the incredibly rude woman behind the counter said no immediately before I even spoke. I asked her why they couldn't wash it and she replied : " we don't wash dirty comforters" . I told her people don't bring clean laundry to a dry cleaner, they bring dirty laundry. Needless to say, I'll never go back there bc that was the last straw for me. Officially switched dry cleaners. NEVER GO HERE EVER!! read more
