The lady that cleans facility and helps keep in order is very sweet (pls note she does not speak English very well ) NOTE / WARNING - I never had any issues here until recently, no fault of facility. A local resident STOLE all my belongings out of a huge dryer that contained two huge loads of laundry. She watched me step away to pub Nextdoor while I waited for clothes to dry, and she quickly emptied all my items as quickly as she could in bags and carts. All was caught on video! Do not leave thing unattended. I made a mistake and trusted people. She is first person ever to do this in 2 months. Pics and video below! The staff members are always super friendly and efficient and we've always been satisfied with the quality, presentation, and overall turnaround times. I hate that I even have to come here, but my apartment only accommodates a stackable washer dryer,…read moreso I have to come here to wash my comforter. Usually this place is pretty clean, although I am here today in the afternoon and it is less clean that it usually is when I come earlier in the day. Also people are letting their extremely loud and roudy kids run around doing whatever they want, but I don't guess that is the laundry mat's fault. This place does NOT have an ATM- which is so crazy to me. Who has cash these days? There is an ATM at the gas station down the street. Some of the machines take credit/debit cards but not very many, you're better off getting cash before you come. Definitely the best part of this place is the free WiFi! Overall one of the cleanest, nicest coin laundry places I have been to.

Now I'm forced to listen to twangy country that's too loud. It's awful. The washers are overpriced, IMO. Had this been a few months ago when I could tolerate the music, it would have been a star higher. This though, is just depressing.

Recently I was charged for removing a blood stain that I didn't know existed (and I'm usually good at checking and pointing out any stains when I leave my clothes). That $12 charge prompted me to consider changing dry cleaners, so I decided to send 6 shirts each to Kite's and to my long-time dry cleaners in order to make a side-by-side price and quality comparison of the two cleaners. I was shocked to learn that Kite's was 43% higher for 6 shirts than the company I have been using. Today, for the first time, I wore one of the shirts cleaned by Kite's. The shirt looked good - no better or worse than shirts done by my long-time dry cleaners. However, the Kite's shirt has an unpleasant smell that I've not experienced with my existing dry cleaning company. Although I don't know for certain, my guess is that the smell comes from the cleaning fluid used by Kite's. I know Kite's has been in business a long time and that their customers must be satisfied. However, based on the significant cost of cleaning difference AND the smell, I'll stick with my long-time cleaners.

I am deeply disappointed with my visit to Ray's Custom Cleaners & Alterations. The costs are far…read moretoo high for the service delivered. My bill reached $233 for dry cleaning, yet I have brought much more clothing elsewhere for less than half that amount. For instance, I paid $30 for three pairs of jeans and the cleaning and pressing did not match the price. I advised the young lady at the counter that there was one pair of jeans that needed to be creased and they were not creased. Additionally, several shirts came back visibly wrinkled, which undermines the point of professional care. More troubling, I suspect one blazer was harmed during their handling. I had worn it once, yet a "special attention" tag claimed the stain was present beforehand. That is incorrect. I recall the garment's condition at drop-off; I would not pay for cleaning or bring it in if it were already marked. At minimum, a phone call should have warned me before work began so I could decide. When clients pay premium rates, they should expect skilled work, careful treatment, and accountability when issues arise. Given this experience, I cannot recommend Ray's Custom Cleaners & Alterations. The prices are excessive for the quality I received, and I am very disappointed that my clothing did not return in the expected condition.
