This place does NOT have an ATM- which is so crazy to me. Who has cash these days? There is an ATM at the gas station down the street. Some of the machines take credit/debit cards but not very many, you're better off getting cash before you come. Definitely the best part of this place is the free WiFi! Once I used the restroom and inside the door handle came off. I was stuck and pounding in the door for five minutes before I got it to open. When I told the employee they just shrugged and said, "Oh". I enjoyed the disco they played, primarily because it was just fun & lighthearted. Now I'm forced to listen to twangy country that's too loud. It's awful. The washers are overpriced, IMO. Had this been a few months ago when I could tolerate the music, it would have been a star higher. This though, is just depressing.

Recently I was charged for removing a blood stain that I didn't know existed (and I'm usually good at checking and pointing out any stains when I leave my clothes). That $12 charge prompted me to consider changing dry cleaners, so I decided to send 6 shirts each to Kite's and to my long-time dry cleaners in order to make a side-by-side price and quality comparison of the two cleaners. I was shocked to learn that Kite's was 43% higher for 6 shirts than the company I have been using. Today, for the first time, I wore one of the shirts cleaned by Kite's. The shirt looked good - no better or worse than shirts done by my long-time dry cleaners. However, the Kite's shirt has an unpleasant smell that I've not experienced with my existing dry cleaning company. Although I don't know for certain, my guess is that the smell comes from the cleaning fluid used by Kite's. I know Kite's has been in business a long time and that their customers must be satisfied. However, based on the significant cost of cleaning difference AND the smell, I'll stick with my long-time cleaners.

She said the woman who took in the outfit DIDN'T mark them additionally as "SAME DAY SERVICE", yet she had told me they would be back for pickup at 5 on yesterday! As I waited yesterday the woman looked and found the jacket and said it would just need pressing in the morning, but she couldn't find the pants among all of the carts of clothes to be worked on, but that the presser would be there a little before 7 this morning and that she would be there at 6:45 this morning and find the pants. I told her that because the outfit was new and hadn't ever been worn they could just press the pants as well. She said ok. She said she would certainly call me first thing this morning, and that the outfit would be done by 7:15, and 7:30 at the latest!!! I also told her she could text me at the same number listed in my file. She said ok, that she would either call or text me. Well, I didn't get a call or text. Not at 7:15...not at 7:30...not at 7:45...not at 8, 8:15, 8:30 OR 8:45!!! So, at 8:46 I called and asked what happened and WHY HADN'T I got a call at all. The woman who had promised that the outfit would be done and that she would call me said, "Things got away from me with having to get everyone started on their work...and that the pants were in the cleaning process and wouldn't have been out for 45 minutes, but everything is ready now." I told her that it was 8:46 and that it was too late for my wife and that she had left!!! I asked again why didn't I get a call as I was promised, even to tell me the outfit wouldn't be ready at 7:30? She said she was busy set up the workers for the day and things just got away from her. I simply was dumbfounded and said ok and we hung up. At the prices that they as a custom cleaners and laundry this is HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! This is the THIRD CLEANERS THAT WE'VE HAD A PROBLEM WITH! One high priced cleaners completely destroyed a blouse or my wife's that was custom made in Rome, Italy and cost FOUR FIGURES! One has on numerous occasions returned clothes, wrinkled, stained, burned and ruined.
