The front staff are friendly and one of them always knows my name and is on her way to get my clothes when she sees me coming. This is the WORST dry cleaners ever. Not only that the morning lady HATES her job. I walked in, no other customers just me and her. She was on the phone speaking Spanish. Told me she was busy and it was important that she could not help me. I told her I hadn't been here before and she pushed a cart at me and said throw your CRAMP in there and fill out card. Didn't say NOTHING else to me and started screaming Spanish at someone on phone. Where is the Owner? Hello owner your business is being ran in the ground. Don't you have anyone nice working here? NICE goes a long way. By the way, I picked up my CRAMP and won't be coming back and they looked horrible. stains had to repress everything and had to spray them because they smelled like body odor. We feel like the prices are reasonable and competitive. No dry cleaners is perfect (any more than we are), but Comet at 3600 FM 1488 is the best dry cleaner we've used in the past 30 years. I decided to use this Comet Cleaners to get some shirts cleaned and pressed before traveling to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. It's more expensive than nearby cleaners but I had confidence they could get it done. I dropped off my clothes and was assured they would done the next day by 5pm. This commitment was reassured by the text printed on my claim ticket. Next day I show up at 5pm, and get a sorry we don't have your shirts. Come back maybe tomorrow. I have a flight to catch and was counting on Comet to meet their commitment. (They picked and printed the 5pm time). While delays can happen and this is one data point but it was enough of a bad experience that I will never use them again. Pay more go elsewhere that can keep commitments. read more

Our family has been a loyal & reoccurring (at least twice a week) customer to this business for a couple of years now. However, we have decided to find somewhere else to take our business. We have been over charged three times ($20 each time) and promised refunds that were never received. Not to mention a whole bag of laundry that just vanished... No, $60 won't make us or break us but it's the principle of making it right with a loyal customer. All the workers there are really nice and show great customer service. If you decide to go to this cleaners, check your receipt on your clothes (attached to the plastic protective bag) before you put your credit card in the machine. Don't bother dropping your clothes at this place. I was traveling from out of town and looking for a laundry service. I asked the attendant if they do laundry or wash and fold. She said yes. I explained I had a bag for laundry and shirts for clean and press. I left happily. She called a half hour later to say they dont do any under garments and asked if I wanted to pick them up or they would throw them away. That would have been a nice policy to know before I dropped my laundry off. I returned immediately and was told I couldn't get the rest of my laundry as it had been sent off. A half-hearted apology and a bag of unclean laundry is what I got. read more

DONT DO ALTERATIONS AT THIS PLACE!!! Took 2 identical dresses, one to be hemmed one to be pressed only, they switched the dresses AND did a VISIBLY awful job of hemming the dress only on the side that was pinned! Had to MAKE them redo and still they couldn't fix the hemming perfectly. They outsource the tailoring to somewhere bad. Another dress was returned from dry cleaning with stains still on it! Besides, their prices are notably higher JUST for pressing than other better places!!!! read more

The time was 1605,OPEN sign was on, door was still open so I walked in. Girl behind the counter yelps,"Sorry, we're closed" and points to printed sign. Newly posted hours of operation said on Saturday they now close at 1600. I get it, they officially closed 5 minutes ago. Strange though if you're in business, it would have taken her less than 2 minutes to give me my dry cleaning, yet she couldn't be bothered. It wasn't as if they were busy. Another warning: My husband's twice worn shirt was scorched (you can see the iron outline), discolored, and ripped. Lilly told me that she didn't believe her workers caused the damage. Reimbursement for this $60 shirt was denied. read more
