I had an opportunity to visit this store recently with my grandson. I had an issue with my current phone, and needed a replacement ASAP. Matthew greeted me, asked how could he assist, and it was uphill from there. He provided me with excellent customer service all while troubleshooting, researching, and solving my problem. He was professional, knowledgeable and kind. I walked away with a new phone, and was very pleased with my experience. The store had a good energy, was clean, and organized. I will be traveling internally and went to Xfinity to have a few questions answered regarding my cell service. I was next in line for service and told it would be around 10 minutes. I left after 40, having received no help. Apparently, most of the staff went on a break leaving one person on the floor. There was no sense of urgency from any of the staff. read more

Stopped by the Xfinity store in Vacaville today to switch my wife's phone to Xfinity mobile. We were greeted kindly at the door and directed to Paula. What an absolute angel of a lady! Paula made the transition effortless, totally set clear expectations, and was an amazing brand ambassador. My wife and Paula instantly formed a bond over their love of dogs and ended up sharing cookie recipes. Paula took the time to get us through the porting of the phone number from Sprint to Xfinity and we ended up saving a ton of money, what a great value!!!! Paula made this visit so awesome, don't know why anyone would get mobile service from anywhere else. read more

*Changing your Xfinity service is now like buying a used car.* *1st girl hangs up on me* when she hears I'm downgrading my service. *2nd guy transfers me without telling me* without saying a word when I tell him I'm not interested in upgrading a Double Play service to BlasterPro 250mbps for an extra $20.00 per month. *3rd guy tries to sell me a downgraded Double Play* then raises the quote for basic Double Play to $145/month . The details: I wanted to downgrade my service, now $210/month [with DVR and other hardware] to the "x1 saver pro double play" and just stream everything instead of using their DVR, etc. The savings should great BUT... The 1st girl hung up on me and even said "to get you a quote on the double play I'll need to hang up" and CLICK gone. Had to walk through the phone options again. 2nd person, a guy. Told him about getting hung up on and re-capped my needs. He tells me that I should upgrade the Double Play from 100mbps to BlasterPro 250mbps. He said he could do that for an extra $20.00 per month and total cost including all fees would be $133/mo. I told him that with just 2 of us in the house I'm fine without the upgrade and i asked him to confirm that the Double Play quote is now about $113/mo and if so, let's do it. CLICK-CLICK and this time i get transferred to a new 3rd guy. The 2nd guy never said a word just transferred me over to another guy without warning. I tell the 3rd guy about getting hung up on and transferred, he assured me he would take care of me. After a long chat he tries to convince me that all I need is 60mbps internet speed. I told him that I was looking at the details online and it says it comes with 100mbps. He apologized and said yes, yes it does. He then quotes me for the basic Double Play at $145/month ($11.00/month higher than the quote from the 2nd guy with an upgraded BlastPro 250mbps). I told the 3rd guy that I was shocked and felt like I was trying to buy a used car. I'll be leaving Xfinity as soon as I finish doing my research. Their streaming services sound good but the Service Desk doesn't want to waste their time on you unless they can sell you an upgrade, therefore, you end up getting nowhere on the phone with them. read more

Comcast is the worst kind of business. They tell you lies and promise great deals and don't follow through. Don't believe me? Try this: when they tell you - you can get these amazing packages for $120 and your in luck because they can give you a rebate for $200. Tell them: sounds great - send me an email with all the details and then I'll call you back and make it happen! THEY WON'T EMAIL YOU. They will not put in writing the lies because you would have proof then. This happened to me twice. The first time I was a sucker and fell for it and by year end I was paying $220 a month never received the rebate.. service started at $99. I didn't fall for it when they tried it the second time. Absolute waste of my time yet again. Ordered New equipment because for some reason I could not access ESPN+ with the existing DVR which was change out about a month and a half ago. They send me new one and it does not even power up WTF. So I make appointment at Vacaville Xfinity store to exchange. Walk in and Lady demands I put on a mask even though I am fully vaccinated. I ask if she could bring my equipment outside and she even told me to wait outside, and proceeded to tell me that she could not give me my new equipment without verifying my drivers license WTF again. This is what pops up on Vacaville Xfinity Website : "The doors to awesome are open To support social distancing needs, we have increased our store appointment capacity and added the option to check-in for your appointment virtually from outside the store. Customers that are fully vaccinated do not have to wear a face mask unless otherwise required by federal, state or local municipality mandates. Click "Book appointment" to get started!" Then reluctantly I grabbed a mask. Then she hands me a DVR wrapped up in plastic. I asked her if this was the upgraded DVR I needed and she said yes it has the new software. Then Guess what I get home and verify that this is the same damn DVR I already just had. So after all the rebooting and BS I try to access ESPN + which by the way I pay a monthly subscription for which in itself is BS. So now Xfinity comes on the screen and says I need to order new equipment. Here we go again. Ordered for the second time. Total time spent 1+ hours, Gas, and I'm Not even going to try to call Xfinity direct as that goes without saying is the worst. Some give me a better option. What can I say about Comcast?!! No, let's not start there because I don't have many nice things to say.... A Comcast technician came on Wednesday 11/30/16 to install Cable, Internet, and Home Security. By the time Friday rolled around we realized that our main box was not working. Whenever the box attempted to reach the network, it continuously reset itself. After contacting Comcast there was nothing that could be done so we were scheduled for a technician to come out today (Monday 12/5/16). The crappy thing about this is, without the main box working, you cannot watch your premium channels; HBO, STARZ, Showtime, Etc. New service should not operate this way whatsoever and is extremely unacceptable. In addition to that, roughly 80-85 channels are ALL in Spanish. No offense but this package, whatever they gave us is extremely useless. Neither of us speak Spanish so I think somehow Comcast screwed up... majorly. I find it really odd that their "premium" package consists of mainly BS that no one wants to watch. I mean really? How do the keep people committed for 2 years without them going insanely crazy??! When you compare the services of Comcast to lets say....ATT, they really aren't all that competitive. What you really end up trying to figure out is, whose more competent. Unfortunately, after going through absolute chaos with ATT, we were pretty much forced to settle for Comcast, UGH! After all of this craziness do you know what Comcast did? Credited our account $20.99 when our total bill is roughly $320. Really? What kind of compensation is that? $20.99 probably covers the tax at most. I am so unhappy with the service and quality of Comcast and it hasn't even been a full week of having their service! Hopefully the technician that comes out today can solve our problem. read more

They give you very inconvenient time windows as to when they'll show up (8am-8pm) ARE YOU KIDDING!? I'm suppose to wait around for 12 hours for your service??? Comcast is one of the worst, most unprofessional companies I've EVER dealt with. Signed up for cable, they send 2 guys over on 2 different occasions, they looked like they were in high school. They had no clue what they were doing, they both drilled holes in my walls/floors & left huge amounts of cable just hanging out in our backyard for my child to trip over. The holes were so big that bugs & all kinds of critters could crawl through. Worst than that was the customer service line that you call, they could care less about anything you have to say & they argue with you about everything! This review is not a reflection on the Fairfield office, but the Corporate office. I have had Comcast numerous times over the years and never had any major issues other then the rates sky rocketing. This time however it has been a non-stop barrage of mediocrity at its finest. I first went to get service in March. Ordered the $29.99 promo for Internet, scheduled a tech; everything was smooth. When the tech arrived he noticed a problem with the line from the street and would need to call in a sub-contractor. Okay new place, uncontrollable issues I get it. Here is where it started going SOUTH FAST! They stated the sub-contractor would take 10 days (Standard). The sub contractor missed two appointments and no phone calls. When I called Comcast they pushed it off twice stating that he should show up soon. The last time I called they the work showed to have already been completed, on the 24th. Mind you I was calling on the 15th! The sub-contractor miraculously appeared sometime on the 16th and completed only half of the job. He dropped the line as bare wire no connectors to the house or the street. Not knowing he did not complete the job I ordered the self-install kit ($15) was told they would cover the shipping oh, also that the original order was deleted and I could not receive the promo that I wanted! I received the self-install kit, surprise no signal! Of course Comcast tech support made me feel like I had no clue what I was doing and they would send a tech out. The tech came out and figured the problem was not me, but the lack of work on the sub-contractor! Result I would not have to pay for the service call. Today I called because the billing did not reflect the credits. The girl in billing figured out that the did not credit the bill correctly and that I would still need to pay the bill since the credit would not show until the next billing cycle! So I need to pay the extra $50 show I can be credited it on the next bill or I will be charged a late fee. Seriously? The worst part about this is that it falls on deaf ears. They are Comcast, Corporate Entity, they do not need your approval or accountability. I wish had other options. read more

Comcast is by far the worst internet/cable company I have ever dealt with. They even beat Verzion Fios which I thought was the bottom of the barrel in regards to customer service. I had problems from get very start when we were slammed by one of their 3rd party authorized dealers which sold us "Free (after rebate) Equipment" small print takes up to 6 months for rebate. I fought this and won. Oh and thie "3rd Party Techzilla aka Saveology also charges for $9.99 every month for what I am not sure. Just protect yourself. I have another review just for Techzilla that goes into more detail. I started with a bundle and after my problem with Techzilla I dropped everything! I even returned their equipment as I go to keep the Saveology product they tried slamming me with. I told the rep when I returned the equipment I want INTERNET ONLY. I asked him three times. "You have me down for internet only right?" "Yes Sir!" 2 months later and I have to call every month to get my bill adjusted! Do they do NO training here? Unfortunately I am stuck cause my only other option is ATT DSL at 6mbps. That is not going to cut it in this house. So now I am paying $60+ a month for 30mbps to this company as they is really no other alternative. read more

Wow! Lots of people upset with Comcast. Not me......... .I know I pay alot.......for me bundled about $150.per month........ but I get GREAT service from the most polite and knowledgable people. IT IS COMPLICATED though. KNOW THIS!!! They will provide what you want but WILL charge you. You have to be careful and try and resolve all issues online.......I had an issue once with wireless internet...........Next thing I knew I was being charged $50. for a consult and $10. per month for tech service.....!!!!!!!WHOOOOOOOOOAAAAAA...ALL I had to do was press F8........I don't think I should have been charged for that! So after talking with the CSR....All charges were removed and they reduced my bill from $180. per month to $150. per month......... I don't understand how people can complain about Comcast.........then turn around and pay about $75. to $100. a month for a cell phone? In closing I think Comcast is the BEST high speed internet...........I think it is the BEST cable TV service........(yea.....the land line sucks, but hey I pay $25. every 3 months for a trac phone,,,,,,,,so who cares........... If I could give 0 stars I would. I HATED COMCAST. Read below my issues... It got to the point where I documented and recorded All Communication for potential future litigation. I will NEVER do COMCAST again. I would rather use Netflix and Sonic Internet. So far they are reliable. And my DIRECTV is hands down the best service I've had. Tons of channels, high quality HD, little to no outages. And great customer service. My attempts to cancel and be free from Comcast has been such a headache and consumed so much if my time, not to mention the added stress of receiving bills in the mail despite canceling my service 6 weeks prior. Excuse the grammar and short hand notes, they're not intended to be complete sentences FYI. I don't want to spend anymore time than I need to, I just thought I would warn others to STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST COMCAST DISPUTE Called 9/10 - Called to Cancel, transferred to loyalty dept., said service will be shut off 9/16. Called 9/17 - Account has been turned off, will see some residual for a few days but not paying for that. Don't worry, only will be billed for used services. Called 9/24 - Takes a few days eff date was noted as 9/16, $50.08 was only thing owed. If I pay that it will be paid in full with no issues (96 and chance total bill). 10/07 - Well that's your perogative sir... Checked online bill and it was 145. Billed for unpaid balance (despite told not billed after 9/16). Spoke to Jose who said it shows clear. Req to speak to floor supervisor. Explained how last time I was told "system still hasn't updated yet," and prior to that I was told "system hasn't updated." Which was sox 3-4 week diff. Only owe $3.47 now. Kelton (ID: Q2). Only bill they send will be 0 balance. I received the first bill after canceling because system hasn't updated. Unsure why I received the second bill with the $46 as unpaid balance when I didn't have service. No explanation as to why this bill had HBO service when I didn't have HBO service prior to canceling. Our internet was not working, it would connect and drop constantly. Even after calling multiple times and having many techs come out, I was still getting charged for "over useage".. how is that possible when it wasn't even working? Tech comes out and all agree wire is bad, needs to be replaced. I've had workers come out and spray paint our driveway and the street and put up markers where they are supposed to dig up and bury new cable. It's been 3 months, still no buried wire. I called on 3 December @ 0845 and talked with Toni. She was very nice/courteous and scheduled our home to get the Comcast HD preferred Plus - Triple Play. I conveyed to her my time is limited and she assured me Comcast 'guaranteed' a two hour service window. We scheduled my appointment for this morning. (Tuesday, 22 December from 0800-1000 hrs) I took the hours off of work to be at the house. At 0955, the supervisor of the service technician called and said they'll be running late - sometime after 1030 hrs. I cancelled the appointment - as my first impression (my first Comcast experience) was Comcast not honoring their 'guarantee' two hour service window. I work at a large hospital, where there is a high rotation of personnel. My office is one that helps new people about a variety of services in our local area. (water, electric, cable, etc...) Comcast has by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I just moved into a new house and needed them to come out and set up service. The first time I called they told me my address didn't exist and that they would need to call me back...never heard from them so I call again. Now they send someone out, but he isn't a technician, the man was very nice but realized they should've sent a technician instead. I call again to get a technician to come out, at this point it has been 5 days since I moved in when I originally called a 2 weeks before I moved in. They tell me they can fix the problem over the phone and that they just need to clear some things up with billing first....again, never hear back from them so I call again. They finally agree to send out a technician 5 days from the call. The technician comes out and finally sets up the internet, but asks me if I have a cable plan bundle (I have always had just internet from them for 39.99 a month). He informs me that the technician over the phone has taken the liberty of signing me up for a 79.99 a month plan for cable and internet without my consent. I have him remove it and get me back to my original plan. Just when I finally think all has been resolved I get an automated message this morning informing me that I need to return my cable box (the one I dont have because I never had a cable plan) or they will forward it to collections. Keep in mind this is not the first time they have done this to me...recently I applied for a new credit card with a company I have been using for a long time and they told me they could not give it to me because I had a outstanding collection on my account, come to find out it was Comcast that forwarded something to collections without ever even contacting me to ask about the item...again, an item I didn't have and they "sent" to me by mistake. I have never had so many issues with a company as I have had with Comcast. Unfortunately, when you call them to get something cleared up you get forwarded to an outsourced phone technician help line in which every employee knows practically nothing about fixing your product, they just follow an online checklist. read more

Have I mentioned how much I hate COMCAST lately? I recently received another monthly bill, and for the third straight month I had to call Customer Service to get it fixed. This time, they tried to add a $10 monthly charge for modem rental. I bought my own modem last year, and I haven't had to pay for their modem since I started with them in January. Now, they again try to charge me for it. I called and a very nice young man agreed that I shouldn't have to pay for it and said he'd fix it. He offered coupons to make up for my troubles, and said I could use them to pay for part of the next bill. We'll see... I also noticed a fee for increasing my internet speed from 75 MPS to 150 MPS. I didn't request this, and don't want to pay the extra $15 per month. Don't know if that has been resolved, I guess I'll see next month. Also, as we were speaking, I lost internet access. When I got back on line and on the comcast site, I noticed my account showed that I have X-finity TV. I mentioned it to Marvin, but he insisted my account doesn't show any such service. I've been waiting to chat with a representative on line, so I may have some sort of written documentation, if comcast tries to bill me for this service. I hate this company. I wish there was an alternative to get reliable internet in Vacaville (AT&T doesn't work well in our home). Oh, well, I guess I'll keep looking. read more
