my car was stolen then recovered and taken to their lot. Already dealing with the stress about the car being gone. I have to deal with the rudest and most disrespectful service. I'm not told the car was found until 5 days later as fees build up. Then the dispatch person was... (Keeping this PG) but she was not helpful. she lied about the process of what I needed to do. Withheld important and expensive information. And kept charging me as it took additional days to do said things she claimed I had to do. But never told me all the info at the time. Her response. "You didn't ask!" Hopefully no one else ever has their car taken there. The process to get it back is a total scam. Also remember the phone calls are recorded. For quality and training purpose. My husband called the office yesterday to let them know they had a driver parking taking two spots in front of a restaurant. My husband explained there was more parking farther away. The lady on the phone was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Arguing with him saying "well the truck is big you know" and she even had the audacity to say "well you have your opinion and I have mine". Still he remained polite lucky for her- he explained because your employee did this we had to park far away as my wife is 7 months pregnant. Know what she said next - "I don't really know what you even want me to do?" Who in the heck works in customer service and doesn't know - just say SORRY and that you will talk to your driver. Never got an apology. Just an argumentative, unprofessional employee who is the face of the company when picking up that phone. A simple call it could have been. You think this one interaction doesn't effect your business? Someone talk to this lady in the office and give her a crash course on customer service. Also, I drive an F250- that truck can fit in one stall- if your driver can't make it happen tell them to park a distance while enjoying their meal because your vehicles are advertisement. read more

The lady who works in the front office is very short and rude. I was charged an after hours release fee of $100 even though my car was picked up on a weekday afternoon. So I called to ask about it and she told me very rudely "I don't know, I'd have to look it up.", like I was inconveniencing her. So I said "Well can you look it up?". Her response was to go " Ugh! " and to slam the phone down. After a few seconds she said " I don't know, someone had to have come look at it after hours and we still charge even if you don't pick it up.". It's one thing of she had taken the time and been polite, but this unhappy lady was rude and really seemed to hate doing her job. I was referred to this company and they provided excellent service. I called in the morning and explained my situation. My vehicle was parked in a garage and needed to be winched and then towed. I didn't ask for pricing. It was $140 for the tow. I think that's comparable to other places in the area. They took about 2 hours from the initial call to get to my vehicle. Columbia towing towed my sisters car Friday night and i went Saturday morning to pick it up. The office was closed, however i was able to get ahold of a woman from their number, who sent a driver to bring our car over. It took an HOUR for a driver to drive the car over to their office. Bad experience!!! They have horrible customer service. I was trying to get my car but they made us wait for hours just because they don't have the key to open the gate. They kept the car right across the street. The lady who work in the office said that her only staff is busy and he is the only one who has the key. She was very rude, attitude, not welcome and not helpful. If your car got towed by there place. Good luck to you. Hopefully the guy who keep the keys is not busy towing or driving from Eastern Washington. Let's face it. Towing is not the most glamorous job. You are often working with people not at their best moment. I have always said it is not what you do, it is how you do it. So here is my story...I donated my car to an organization. Eight months later I receive a bill for towing from Columbia. I IMMEDIATELY call them explain. I am told by Chris that he will review my proof paperwork that the car is no longer mine or my responsibility. I have to follow up with Chris, told it is being reviewed AND receive another bill. The organization that I donated the car to gets involved proves the car is not mine and is able to prove who is the owner of the car at that time. I even speak to the owner who says that because I didn't put the address of the national organization on the DMV paperwork he is under no obligation to pursue anyone else and brags that I can sue him but that I will lose because my time to prove I didn't own the car was during the first two weeks when HIS manager was allegedly working with me. I was sent to collections and forced to pay. Luckily the organization Wheels for Wishes did what they promised and covered the original tow bill. I understand that towing happens but avoid this company if you can. read more

My car conked out on me at 107/Aurora Av N Seattle today. Pouring down rain as usual. I was waiting for a tow and also called for a taxi to take me home. BILL arrived and hooked the company car to return to the shop. However, the taxi company "botched" up their response which left me stranded. BILL said, we will call a different cab co. and you can sit in my dry seat rather than having you stand in the rain. Is this normal service ? Not in Seattle.
