Zero stars. We are AAA members and needed a tow to our mechanics residence from the side of a busy hwy. We were told 1 hour, but waited almost 2 for him to arrive. When he came over to ask for photo id his demeanor was short and sharp, it seemed he was annoyed about coming to do his job and wanted to make sure we knew we were the source of his misery or something. By the way when he was still on his way he called us for better directions, which we gave him, and he still drove right past us. We had to suggest putting the cross street and street we were on into his GPS. He then arrived within 5 minutes. He asked where we needed it towed to, we gave him the address we had already given to the very polite and profession dispatch woman over the phone. He asked if it was a shop or residence, we said it was our mechanics residence at a public storage facility. ( His wife is the property manager and they reside on site in an apartment connected to the office.) The man rudely said no that he cannot tow to anything but a shop or residence. We reiterated the situation to him and he again rudely told us he will not tow there. He walked away and called who I assume was his superior who he put on speaker phone as he was telling him it is a storage facility
The man on the phone told us they cannot tow to anything but residence or shop, we reiterated to the man on speaker, and he again said that because it is not listed as N address in his record, they cannot tow. Ok, we said that is fine, we will figure that out, we will give you an alternate address. This is where the reason for this review happens. Thean on speaker says ok
So I open my phone book on my phone and look up to see the driver leveling out his tow bed, so me and my husband both yell " hey wait! We have an address to give you!" But our plea was met with a literal burn out as he sped away, kicking rocks and gravel onto our vehicle from his back tires. Just like that he was gone and we were left stranded by someone representing a service we pay for to assist us in this exact kind of situation. It wasn't the fact that policy would not allow the tow due to a clerical error, but the fact that his attitude was so poor and he so obviously did not wish to do the job from the moment of his arrival, that as soon as he had opportunity to bail, he did. And left is without help in a time of distress. He was the help hired to assist us! If he would have just given the 2 minutes for us to tell him an alternate address, his attitude, while terrible, would not itself have warranted a bad review on yelp, but likely just verbally warning people anytime the subject came up instead. But leaving us stranded on a highway, when it was so easy to just do his job instead was too far. I hope this never happens to another AAA member or someone calling on "Yared's Road Service" for help. It was a waste of 2.5 hours of an important day ( we had a Dr. appointment that we just missed by 20 minutes that day thanks to this drivers negligence, and his anti- customer demeanor, we cannot give ANY stars. I would give - negative stars if I could and my recommendation is STAY AWAY FROM YAREDS ROAD SERVICE. IF I KNEW THE NAME OF THE DRIVER HIMSELF I WOULD FILE EVERY COMPLAINT AND LEGAL ACTION I COULD AGAINST HIM PERSONALLY TO MAKE SURE HE LOST HIS JOB. IT MIGHT SAVE LIVES. CERTAINLY WOULD PREVENT HIM FROM ENDANGERING ANYONE ELSE. Zero value
Worth negative numbers. read more
