We didn't know what to do or how to handle so much stuff in a home, so I googled hoarding and one link led to another and Resource Restoration Services popped up. I liked what I read on their website. I felt I could trust this person who does this for a living especially helping veterans. We set an appointment to meet Dave (the owner). He walked through the townhouse and told us he could help us. And he did! He went beyond his call of duty, they helped fix other things that needed fixing. Dave and his team are professional, kind, loving, helpful and efficient people. They told me how long the job would take and the never bothered me for anything but handled everything that needed to be done. Dave also gave us wisdom on how to handle the next step to restoring and remodeling the home so we may sell it. I highly recommend Resource Restoration Services. You will be very please and have a peace of mind trusting someone your working with that truly cares. Thank you Dave Beavers for your great service. You have blessed our family. Many blessings to you and yours.

Dave from Resource Restoration Services has been absolutely amazing. He has his clients best interest at heart, and will have your back all the way through the mitigation and rebuilding where damage was done, and works directly with insurance companies (with your permission) to lessen the burden and give clients piece of mind. He and his team quickly mitigated the water damage done to my tenants location in the middle of the night, giving constant updates throughout the process, and set me up with next steps forward to restore my basement to it's original condition. I cannot recommend this company enough! Dave and his team are the best in the business!

We woke up to a backed up basement toilet last Sunday, and Roto-Rooter was out at the house within four hours to assess the problem. It turned out to be MUCH more than a clogged toilet...cracked pipe, crazy old DC plumbing issues, etc. The guys worked methodically to figure out each new problem they encountered until FINALLY it was revealed that the problem is on the DC city side, not in my home. Matt, Al, and David stayed at my house until almost 8 pm at night to ensure they spoke directly to the DC Water crew, as they knew the problem could be ignored without their expert commentary. I will shout their praises from the roof deck from the rest of my days because DC Water has finally agreed to dig up the street and replace the emergency line. Without the team staying to speak to DC Water personally, I would probably be dealing with this for the next few weeks instead of (hopefully) the next few days.

A very bad experience. By now, I am out for .... $ 5,500 for the replacement of 15 inches of a drain pipe. Most of the cost was "ventilation for humidity" (I did not ask for that), mold cleaning (there was no mold). Be warned!

From the moment I reached out to Seth on a Saturday morning about a kitchen flood, he was prompt to…read morerespond by text and phone call. After assessing my situation wasn't an emergency (based on in-depth questions he asked he determined we had a clean water leak and no major signs of water damage), he scheduled for him and his team to come the following Tuesday. When they showed up, his team promptly went to work to carefully lay down floor covering (which I appreciated since we have a no-shoe policy in our house). Meanwhile Seth immediately began to inspect the source of the problem all the way to the farthest point of the water damage. He was very thorough and had a keen eye for detail as he began to point out details I hadn't even seen or imagined (later found out his background in construction is what lends to his extensive knowledge about building materials, how things should be built/how things should look etc). Long story short he determined that my water damage was not extensive at all despite the flooding we had. Instead of recommending I demo my kitchen and basement floor, ceiling, walls to track down every little sign of water damage (which would have probably gave them a chance to easily bill $40k to my insurance), he reassured me that because it was clean water that had flooded and because there was no sign of any major water damage to my home, I was good to go for this one time incident. He set up heavy duty dehumidifiers to dry out my basement and that was it. What I most appreciated is that he took the time to explain his observations and why he did what he did so that I was completely comfortable and understood what was going on in my home. He worked with me to only charge me for the labor incurred and dehumidifiers so I didn't have to go through insurance or even pay as much as my deductible. Their honesty and attention to detail was refreshing and reassuring. I hope to never have to go through another incident where my house floods or have a mold issue, but if I do I've already got Seth on my speed dial and my very short list of contractors I trust. I'm very OCD when it comes to getting things assessed and fixed properly - with Seth and his team's experience and eye for detail, it was nice to just relax and trust that I had professionals who will do what needed to be done. Highly recommend Rapid Response Restoration.

I did a little research and found Rapid Restoration through their numerous 5-star reviews on Yelp and other websites and reached out to Daryl and a few other companies to see what it would take to get our house back into shape. Right from the first moment on the phone I knew that Daryl and Rapid Restoration would be the company we would go with. He gave me a thorough education about the process and gave me helpful advice right from the first moment. His help over the phone was always clear and accurate. He set us on the right path immediately. Seth and his crew were in our house within 48 hours to do the mitigation and boy were they thorough. The floor was pulled up, the room was disinfected and dried. And all the while, Daryl and Seth made sure that we had the documentation and backup necessary to communicate with our homeowners insurance company. With the mitigation done, the crew came back a few weeks later to actually do the repairs and get our floors back to the condition they were in before. This was equally impressive. The workmanship was truly beautiful. Seth has a great eye for design and color. Everything matches and looks beautiful. Every transition and grade was thought through and installed with accuracy and quality. Overall, youhear about the nightmares of dealing with homeowners insurance. There was NONE OF THAT. The Rapid Restoration crew were so buttoned up and knowledgable that we had literally no conflict or pushback from our homeowners insurance company. If you've had a similar issue in your own home - don't even think about it. Just call Daryl and the Rapid Restoration crew. I recommend them WITHOUT RESERVATION.

They just completed a mold remediation issue in our ceiling and it looks like new! Ansony also connected us with a great plumber/contractor who fixed the leak causing the mold in the first place. We had such a bad experience with exceptionally rude receptionists and "upselling" at larger companies (ServPro) just trying to get an estimate for mold and water damage, so it was refreshing to work with Ansony. We noticed mold and water damage in a corner of our home and Ansony was able to come out to give an estimate shortly after we called. After a few weeks of us dealing with insurance, we noticed some additional damage elsewhere in the home. We reached back out to Damage Squad once we had things squared away with insurance to have them check out the additional damage and they came the next day to reevaluate and update their estimate. The changes were very reasonable--Ansony understood our budget and made it very clear what was necessary to address (i.e., mold) versus what could wait (i.e, more cosmetic things). So we signed the contract that day. Damage Squad came the next morning. Incredible. It's hard to find someone you feel like you can trust for home improvement, but Ansony clearly knows what he's doing and I never felt like he was trying to "upsell" or overcharge us. I felt like he genuinely made decisions and recommendations as if our home was his home, and he and his team treated it as such. I usually only go for providers with many reviews, but my gut said go with Ansony, and I'm so glad we did. Would 110% recommend Damage Squad.
