Before we even get to the counter and say anything the "store manager" (male, picture attached) starts a rant along the lines of sorry but we don't take converse returns you have to do that online, blah blah blah. My bf brushed it off and goes to shop but we're both annoyed and find it ridiculous that a purchase made in store can't be returned in store. I can't find any policy online or on the receipt backing up this so called policy. Plus the fact that this so called manger didn't even wait for us to say anything before immediately turning us away was just horrible customer service. We called the store we made the purchase from and they tell us what we were told sounds ridiculous, they get our info and call the Howell store to clear up the issue. Within 10 minutes we get a call from the store manger, a female, apologizing and saying if we go back in the store they'll process the refund. Store is clean and organized, most of the employees seem helpful, but the one "store manager" ruined the experience with their horrible customer service.

Considering it was -14 in Michigan today with a wind chill of -34, the proper clothing makes all the difference. The woman that checked me out asked if we needed anything else. I told her it would have been nice if they could find one pair of shoes for me in my size. She looked up the one white leather Sperry and found they had one in the store. The other woman that helped me looked on the upper shelf and saw nothing on the immediate shelf. The woman waiting on me took another look and found them on the upper shelf, one box of my size exactly. One staffer tried and put effort to find me what I wanted, the other only tried superficially. Got a pair in the end after much effort.
