It is the gold standard, IMHO, as someone who has worked at farms and greenhouses over the course of decades, these are the people from whom I have sought counsel the most when. In New Jersey. Their plants are beautiful and healthy, and suited to local conditions because they are greenhosed on site by an expert horticulturist. The 'book learning' aspect of the son, Alan, is beautifully balanced by the depth and breadth of knowledge from Don himself, a local farmers with hands on experience and an ear to the ground, full of local lore. Excellent customer service to boot. If you're looking for substance and quality and knowledge, look no further! An extraordinary enterprise much appreciated by us dedicated fans.

Great selection of good looking plants but no carts to transport them in. When I asked about how do i get it to my car, I was told they are not that heavy, you carry them. At that point I paid for the one plant (no way was I going to deal with this guys crap for anything else) and I carried it to my car. I paid for that macho sh*t later. I requested, if possible, to split the 9 yards as I have a circular driveway and would be easier for my worker. The owner, Jerry, clearly stated there was nothing he could do about it. I voiced my concern about not being able to exit my home in the event of an emergency. I suggested perhaps the driver whom was only 10 minutes away could come back and make a path. I was so taken with his "I don't care" attitude especially being an owner. What is more disappointing was his lack of respect. His nasty tone thinking he is superior to everyone else. I wonder if he is this disrespectful to his workers.
