TL;DR: Bait-and-switch on my stylist, butchered haircut, arrogant stylist with zero personality,…read moreand "solution" from the owner. I've been stuck with this disaster for nine months. Avoid this salon at all costs. Pics 1-3 the day of the butchering Pics 4-6 the awful growing out phase (Full review below for those who want details.) I booked an appointment specifically with "Sara" after doing my homework and reading her glowing reviews. But when I showed up, they told me to go sit with Daniela -- no notice, no consent, no explanation. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how shady their business practices are. She didn't introduce herself or ask my name, she actually seemed annoyed I existed. The haircut itself? An absolute train wreck. I brought clear inspiration photos, which she completely ignored. Instead, Daniela hacked away at my fine, thin hair with heavy, random and excessive point cutting. She never once showed me the back of my head during the cut -- just kept cutting and cutting randomly. Me being naive, and trusting this stranger/professional I thought- oh this must be a new technique. The end result was butchered, choppy layers that I never asked for. The only way to hide the damage was by styling my hair into "waves" -- which I rarely do b/c of the heat damage from the curling iron. I walked in with a sleek straight blowout (the way I actually wear my hair) and left with waves I didn't ask for, just so the flaws wouldn't be obvious right away. The second I wore it straight again, the disaster was clear. To make matters worse, while she was butchering my hair, she bragged about how she does the best hair in the salon and how the salon uses her work on their Instagram page without giving her credit. I actually felt badly for her before I had seen the mess she made on my head. When I called to complain about paying over $120 for this mess, the owner's "solution" was to wait a couple of months for my hair to grow back and then come back for another "free" cut. Seriously? After you bait-and-switched my stylist and destroyed my hair, you expect me to trust you again? It's been nine months, and my hair still hasn't recovered. I've wasted hundreds of dollars in styling tools and products- trying to disguise the damage. Nothing works, because the cut itself was fundamentally botched. The shortests layers are so short I would need a full chop by my ears and I just could not. This salon brags about helping you "achieve the look you desire." What a joke. They do the exact opposite -- deceitful booking, sloppy work, zero accountability, and stylists who spend more time bragging than actually doing good hair. If you care about your hair at all, avoid this place like the plague.
