Cannot recommend Billy and Esteban enough. I have been going to this fantastic duo for over 12 years for haircuts and coloring. They always do the best job and take their time to consult with your desired style. read more

Billy has been my hairstylist ( cut, color, highlight ) for 5 years now. It's worth the price you pay after all your hair is your crowning glory. Great team of Billy and Estee. Their new place is very nice, and the interior design is a replica of the old place. read more

I always love going to get my haircut by Billy and styled by Esty. Billy always listens to exactly what I want done on my hair and he executes it precisely every time. I always leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and beautiful - they never disappoint! read more

Billy the only hair stylist I trust with my hair! He is very patient and has a good eye. He can accommodate your needs to the precision you want; in fact that is his best quality; he listens and make sure his customers always leave happy. I always have a pleasant time at le salon bleu! read more

Bought a $90 groupon, was NEVER able to use it because of availability. Have to book 5 days in advance for just a blowout. Very annoying, as I'm a working mom and it's difficult for me to plan things out in advance. I really want a refund on the groupon. read more

Billy Magnum gave me the 5-star treatment! I was a little caught off guard because the front door goes straight into the main floor instead of an entryway, but I was immediately welcomed by the friendly owners. I was led to a cute waiting area with mounted flat tvs where a staff member brought me whatever drink I could think of. Today was a double espresso kind of day! This was my first time here, so I had no idea if the person doing my highlights and haircut would know what they were doing. Well - my haircut is great and the highlights came out perfectly. It came with a complimentary glaze and deep conditioning treatment that actually worked. I could tell Ashley knew what she was doing. I picked up a bottle of Shu Uemera hair treatment on the way out. That is the brand they specialize in and the staff were so nice I just decided to trust their opinion that it is a good product. So far, so good! Prices are typical of Greenwich but they get my recommendation anyway. Very "trendy" atmosphere. I'm in marketing and they did an awesome job with their branding to make you really feel like you're at some exclusive Hollywood salon (not that I've been to one of those, but I would imagine!). read more

PHENOMENAL! Exactly the kind of place to go to for an experts opinion, a relaxing session and a great cut! Billy F., the owner, did my hair and was very professional listening to what my hair preferences are and also giving me his professional opinion. It's a small intimate salon that is clean, chic and calming. I tried this place on a Groupon, and received excellent service! read more

I only gave this salon a star because 0 stars was not an option. This is a NEW salon that was taken over from a previous owner- hence all the old 4-5 stars. Now it is a horrible place. This was truly a traumatizing experience. My friend and I had made hair appts here for a blowout months ago for 4:30. This entire process should have taken a max of 45 minutes. At 5pm (30 minutes into our appt) they finally took me to get started. My friend was still waiting. When she asked an ETA because we had a wedding to attend, the OWNER said to her "baby you need to calm down I am stressed." I have never been spoken to that way by any business. We felt so uncomfortable. Not to mention, the sinks were filthy with old coloring. I actually had to ask the owner to wipe it down before I stuck my head in for a wash. At 5:20 (50 minutes into our scheduled appt) the owner and the assistant started to blowdry our hair...but they refused to brush it! Knotty wet hair under a blow dryer...it just didn't make sense. When we asked the owner about this, he responded "I am stressed. My hands are shaking. I can't do this." So at 5:30 we were essentially kicked out of the salon with wet knotty hair. It was absolutely horrible. Luckily we found GLAM BLOW around the corner and they stayed open past their closing time to helps us out! We made it to the wedding with 10 minutes to spare. It was horrible. Le Salon Bleu has only been open for 2 months and you can tell. They are rude...disorganized...and absolutely filthy inside. Le Salon Ew. read more

Le Salon Blue delivers high quality services consistently. The atmosphere is relaxing and I never leave disappointed. My hair color is perfection and my trim was exactly what i wanted and needed. The service was nice, however I got blonde highlights done and it was pretty awful. My highlights were orange. The owner himself did my hair. He tried to fix it but he did a pretty bad job :((( I would not recommend him to anyone. Maybe other hairdressers do a better job. Also, he wanted to charge me for Oraplex treatment $50 and I know other salons do it for $25. read more

I went to Le Salon Bleu for the first time last week and had a very positive experience. Billy, my stylist, did a great job with cutting and styling my hair. I had a groupon which included the cut, deep conditioning and styling, but I knew I was overdue for color as well. Billy consulted me and gave me the best advice to tone down my hair that had become brassy from previous highlight and color. He gave me a good deal on single process and glaze. My hair color looks more natural now. Billy and his staff, including his assistant stylist/colorist Sophia who was in charge of my color and the salon manager Estii were all friendly and pleasant. Toward the end of my appointment, Billy helped me pick out the best styling brush for my hair and also a new hair dryer. I was in the market for both, so I did not feel he was pushy with the sell, and he also gave me a 25% discount on the products which was my yelp check-in special. He also recommended a leave-in conditioner that should help with my color holding on better, and applied the discount on it also. Other perks are that the salon is clean, chic and modern, and they serve good latte. Billy invited me back to his salon for a face-framing highlights and balayage as a gift, so I'm planning on having that done this week. read more

I love when yelp steers you in the right direction. This salon is posh and quaint, the perfect spot to get your hair done. I called for a same day appointment and they so graciously fit me in! I have long, thick and curly hair that can easily become a Frizzy mess if not handled correctly. These guys know what they are doing. They took my long, curly Mane and transformed it into glossy beach waves. A style I've coveted, but have yet to find a stylist that can pull it off. I definitely found a new gem for blow outs. The price was $50, a small price to pay for knockout hair, in my opinion. Also the wash was just as luxurious as the blow out. It was a full blown scalp massage that had me in full relaxation mode. This place is a must try in Greenwich! read more

With all the salon choices in Greenwich, I decided to check-out Le Salon Bleu and was so happy I did! Billy is such a nice guy and gave me a beautiful haircut. I have long, thick hair and he took the time both before and during the cut to tell me what he was doing and why, which I really appreciated. His new salon is great too! Still centrally located but ample, free parking which is a bonus. I will definitely be making Salon Bleu and Billy my go-to Salon. read more

I walked by and walked in and was treated with welcome arms. This is a great place, and the stylists and staff were very nice. My hair was beautiful and I walked out of the salon so happy! I will definitely come back. read more

I came here recently with a Groupon which included a cut, conditioning treatment, partial highlights, and a glaze. Right off the bat I thought the salon was cute and everyone was very friendly. I didn't get the catty vibe I feel sometimes at salons. Alex did both my cut and my highlights and I couldn't be happier with the results. She listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted, natural looking highlights and a low maintenance cut. She was very pleasant to talk to and I've gotten a ton of compliments on my hair. If you book another appointment while you are there they will give you a 25% discount which I think is a great way to encourage repeat customers. I will definitely be back! read more

Had a great experience here yesterday and one of the best cut and colors I've had in years. I purchased a groupon for the cut, color, treatment and glaze and was pleasantly suprised as most places you use a groupon with give you sub par service. She listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me beautiful layers and my hair looks shiny and healthy- will definently be returning. Staff very friendly as well - great spot in Greenwich. read more

Azi did a great job updating my haircut and giving me beautiful highlights. I was concerned since I had a Groupon, but no worries--Azi was a pro and so nice. It is now a few weeks later and I have received many compliments. Great job!! read more

I have been going to Lucas for years...he is a master at what he does. Whenever I get my hair done, I try to make it last as long as possible to savor the compliments for days!!!! Billy and Lucas are so dedicated to their clients and they are talented! Once I had to catch a train to NYC, so Billy drove me to the station, parked my car and hid my keys for my return! That is service! On the rare occasion when Lucas has been on vacation and I went to someone else to get my hair done for an occasion....it is NEVER the same! I was a little hesitant to write a review because I don't want them to get so busy that I can't get an appointment, but I decided I can't be that selfish!! You will not be disappointed, and you will never want to go anywhere else!! read more

Billy and Estii are amazing! Not only did they fit me in last minute on a Sunday, but they provided me with excellent service. Estii's coffee was enough to keep me coming back, but Billy's skills are unmatched! The highlights look so natural and the haircut is gorgeous! I will definitely be making this my go to hair salon from now on. read more

Another wonderful appointment at Salon Bleu, I have been getting my hair cut and my color and highlights with Billy for 1 year and I have never been disappointed. Yesterday was my birthday so I got a color, beautiful face framing highlights, and a glaze... very flattering... I also got my eye make-up done by Esty, what an incredible artist he is ! My make-up was beautiful and I got a lot of compliments. Billy and Esty really compliment each other. I have been living in Greenwich for 25 years and hate the big salons on the avenue, you will love this little gem on Mason Street. read more

What a fabulous place - I have to admit I was a little bit hesitant coming in here because it's more of a women's salon, but the guys at Billy Magnum treated me very well and were totally welcoming. They gave me a rather well-made cappuccino right off the bat which was a great hospitable touch (there's a liquor store next door, so who knows - you could probably ask them to go grab you a beer or a glass of wine or whatever the heck you wanted). Genesis gave me a great haircut, I didn't really know what I wanted so I appreciate it when they just make me look good - and I realize that's probably a challenge when customers come in without specific ideas. At any rate, I was blown away by these guys' hospitality, and super welcoming attitude. As a bearded ginger, I certainly don't look like the average client so I appreciated the fact that they made me feel just as welcome as some Prada-toting Greenwich housewife. I will definitely be back to Billy's Magnum salon. read more

I have very thin/ fine hair and you really cant do much to make my hair look great. I went here because I found a Groupon and the reviews were good. One of the owners, Billy did my hair cut. He was the only one there and I didn't get offered a coffee or anything which would have been nice, but he did say his desk guy was running late. Anyway he did a good job and was very nice. I'm not a talker so he didn't try to bother me once he realized I was dull conversation lol. I'm happy with my hair and I think ill go back, of course it will never look as good as the day he did it, but I'm still satisfied with he overall results. I usually skip from salon to salon but I may just stick with this one! read more

I was a little hesitant to try a new place, because I have never felt completely happy at any salon. I have thick hair with a lot of volume, and no one, I mean no one could give it a cut I was happy with and I have found that many salons just don't know how to blowdry thick hair. Genesis gave me a hair treatment, and as soon a Lucas saw my hair, he knew exactly what I needed and wanted. He gave me a perfect cut (it actually made my hair look longer), beautiful highlights, and the blowdry was amazing. I will definitely be going back, Lucas is not only great with hair, he has a great personality and his assistant Genesis is very helpful. They also made sure I would not get a parking ticket, and they sent someone out to add time to the meter. I was so satisfied that I took my teenage son (very picky) to see Lucas, and Lucas gave him a new style. My son and I could not be happier. After many years of searching and being dissatisfied I have finally found the one! As stated on Joy M.'s review, I also would not like them to be too busy, but they definitely deserve a great review. Lucas is great at what he does and you can tell he loves doing hair. read more

I love Billy Magnum Salon!! I have never loved how my hair looked until now! Lucas is amazing. He looked at my hair and knew exactly what he wanted to do, I trusted him completely and I have never been happier. My hair has never looked better! The color has never looked so good as well as the cut. My hair is not very thick and the way he layers it makes it look so full and healthy. Simply amazing. Everyone that works there is so friendly; its a fun atmosphere. You can just tell everyone that works there really loves what they do! I can't wait to go back. read more

Billy did my haircut. After I washed my hair I noticed that bottom layer from behind was short 2 inch!!!! My hair is medium length. (His explanation: "sweetie you have so much hair so I remove one layer"). Also left side was longer then right one, whole hair cut was a one big mess!! I went back to hair salon to fix my hair!! You can't actually fix it anymore, I will have to wait to grow my hair more I guess. Never ever again!! I don't recommend this hair salon(if they can call them hair salon)!! read more

WILL NEVER RETURN! Took two hours to get a simple haircut because they double booked my appointment. Not only that, but there was no one there to run my credit card for payment because Billy left salon and no one else could operate the CC machine. They had to call me the following day while I was at work for payment. The only positive thing I can say is that I left with an amazing haircut by Paula. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted and was very confident in her skills. Unprofessional and inexperienced salon. Don't bother. read more

My first visit and it won't be my last. Went on a Groupon cut glaze color deep conditioning and blow dry and I left feeling great.the staff was super friendly and attentive. Billy was amazing and helped set me up with a cut to properly get to the hair length I am aspiring to while giving me an amazing color -- bye bye greys .Imani was awesome assisting with the blow dry and deep conditioner that left my hair soft and smooth as silk. One minor blip is that I still had some color on my skin around the hairline that I noticed after I left, but easily removed at home not enough to cancel my next appointment which. Already have in the books. Till next time--Janet read more

Been here a few times and the haircuts are consistently excellent. It was hard to find a salon I trusted after moving to the area, but this one has quickly become my go-to! Excellent experience and service. Esti, the salon manager cheerfully greeted me and took great interest in making my visit as comfortable and easy as can be. My stylist, Billy, was very knowledgeable and he was delightful to work with. He created a classic, beautiful cut for my working mom lifestyle - professional but still feminine with minimal fuss. He also chose the right color to cover my grays which matched my natural color. I highly recommend and I'm definitely returning. read more

I'm updating my review, given that my issue with the salon has been resolved. Billy contacted me and apologized for the mistake of charging me extra for a glaze and refunded me right away. The min you step inside the door of this salon you are greeted with friendly smiles and courteous staff. They made me very comfortable and I felt very confident, entrusting Lucas with my hair color. I was nervous as this was my first coloring experience and I was beyond thrilled. Lucas is very talented and has great understanding of what works for each client. And he has a great attitude and kept me laughing the whole time! Trust his judge and you won't be disappointed. I was there for sometime and all the other stylist and colorists are very talented as I saw a lot of happy clients leaving with terrific cuts and colors. All the staff at the salon were very friendly and has a very relaxed atmostphere. You can tell they like to work there. I will definitely be back. I wish I could give this zero stars, and less than zero if that was even possible. A friend and I made appointments earlier this summer to have our hair blown out for a wedding this past weekend. We were kept waiting for 28 minutes, and at that point the two stylists (owner and his assistant) were scrambling between clients. He shampooed us both and then planned to go back to another client. I asked him how long it would be since it was already 5 pm (for a 4:30 appt) and we had to be at a wedding at 7 pm. He told me "baby, calm down". I could not believe I was spoken to this way by a hair stylist, let alone a business owner! At that point, my friend texted me from across the salon that the assistant tried to blow her hair without brushing, and there was still conditioner in her hair. My friend began to blow her own hair (again, unacceptable). The owner then proceeded to attempt to blow my hair the same way, and when I told him he was hurting me and asked if he always did hair without brushing, he told me his hands were shaking and he could not continue with us. We both walked out at 5:30 pm with wet (and still dirty) hair for a 7 pm wedding. We left in tears and I cannot express enough how DISGUSTED we were and how the owner should be ASHAMED for treating paying customers this way. again...less than zero stars. Go to Glam Blow instead....or even stay home. You could do a better job on your own hair than these "professionals". read more
