Fantastic experience at Colorboxx Salon! Nikki is a genius at cutting and coloring! The vibe of the salon is so fun and her stylists are very talented as well. I know this as I watched them as I was getting my cut and coloring. It is the kind of salon where you just want to go and hang out even if your next appointment isn't until next month! read more

I visited Colorboxx Hair Salon recently and found it to be a decent place. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which always helps! However, I expected a bit more from the overall experience. My haircut was okay, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The atmosphere was nice, but it felt a little cramped at times. Overall, it's worth a shot if you're in the area, but maybe not my first choice next time. read more

Amazing environment and amazing results on my hair! I think I have found my hair salon in Savannah!

I have been going to Colorboxx for over 2 years now. When I first went there my typically light to medium brown hair was black from using box dyes because I could not find a good colorist/ stylist. Nikki Friedhoffer is an amazing colorist and stylist and transformed my hair. She is a color genius and has the best personality ever! I absolutely love her and all the staff at Colorboxx!! read more

Love my new color, Nikki is a talented colorist. I wanted something different and a change up from the bleach blonde. She had some excellent ideas and came up with a beautiful Carmel - Auburn mix, much more flattering. Thanks Nikki, so happy to have found Colorboxx. I'll be back. read more

Colorboxx Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Savannah, Georgia

I have always had the best experience at Colorboxx pooler . The ladies there do a splendid job with the hair cuts and color. I always request for Cassie and I generally give her an idea about the length and color( in most cases I leave it to her ) and she works her magic ! The salon is very clean and well lit . The ladies are very warm and make you feel comfortable while you wait. If I get a cut and color done , it generally takes a minimum of 2 hours but Cassie is a perfectionist and doesn't do a rush job, so it's worth it. I recommend keeping at least a buffer of 3 hours to get a full cut and color do. Also, the place is pretty busy always , so make sure to book an appointment in advance. Although prices might look a bit high , based on the products and skills, I feel it's completely justified . The quality of the products they use are long-lasting as well as gentle. Colors seem noticeably vivid and stay on for more washes than the other places I've been to that are cheaper. I am happy to say that I am yet to be disappointed when I walk out of there when I get my hair done! read more

I had a really good experience here with Nicole. She did a blowout for me and it turned out beautifully. She was fast too. Most people take 2 hours to do my hair. She was able to do it in 1 hour and 20 minutes. The owner was there as well. Very friendly lady. The place is clean and I liked it a lot. I have already booked my next appointment. read more

I want to give my utmost thanks to Stephanie Foster at Colorboxx in Pooler. After a disaster from a previous hair stylist, she saved the day and made great strides correcting the problem in just one visit along with an action plan on getting me to style I wanted. Stephanie is extremely professional and talented which shows in her work! read more

I had always seen the Colorboxx location downtown, but I was loyal to another salon. After I moved to the Pooler area and Colorboxx opened its location there, I decided it was finally time to give it a try. I have been to Colorboxx Pooler about 4 times now and have had a different stylist every time (because I always book a day or two out). I have been thrilled with the consistent service, professionalism and talent. Some of those stylists have moved on, but I will give props to Seth and Liana who are still there. Both are great choices for doing cut and color! There is something about Colorboxx that makes me think: "Wow, these people really know their stuff." I feel safe with my hair in their hands! read more

From setting up my appointment to getting my hair done, this salon has been excellent from the get go. The receptionist was able to book me for an appointment for a haircut and a balayage at a short notice and she had followed up with me when there was a scheduling conflict. I ended up getting the earlier spot and was able to be done and out of the salon before 2pm. My hair stylist was Rachel, who was a rising star at the salon. I had full confidence that she could get the color and cut that I wanted and I was not disappointed. My hair has not looked this good since, well, ever. I've always gone to either Ulta or Hair Cuttery, never again! Rachel exceeded my expectations and everyone was so nice in the salon. Prices are reasonable as well. I really recommend this salon if you're looking for professionals that know what they're doing! read more

Nikki worked her magic and I left the salon feeling great and confident. I highly recommend the entire staff. read more

Colorboxx Salon - Before and After - Hair Salons Near Me - Savannah, Georgia

I am a stay at home mom and spending money on myself, being hair, nails, skin or whatever just hasn't happened since I stopped working. I suffer with HUGE guilt since I am not making money. I have tried to color my hair at home and ended up crying every time. Well, I finally told my hubby I was done, and I NEEDED THIS!!!!!! When I made the appointment I asked for an up and coming because I just can't spend money on a master stylist. I have never been here before, I just know the owners ex husband and I like to support businesses when I have some sort of tie. I was scheduled with Kara, who was very pleasant and truly loves what she is doing. I thought they were kidding about being booked from 10 to 2pm. But they weren't! Offered me plenty of coffee and water :) I think next time I have this done, I'm going to bring lunch. BUT... I loved how my hair turned out. Kara delivered on what I wanted for color and being able to have my new growth and my now, sun kissed blonde hair to blend well together. I like to give my Stylist room for "play" for my cuts. My rules. It has to look good for my face, workable to for a tired, crazy mom with 2 boys under 4 and I need to be able to workout. Kara talked me into having long layers so my hair wouldn't fall so heavy and to keep my length to pull my hair back into a ponytail. I am very glad she talked me into keeping the length. Now, I was a little shocked when I heard the price when all was said and done. What I had done, was not what I had asked prices for. However, I am still tickled pink. I haven't been this happy with my hair in 5 years. So it was WORTH IT!!! and Kara is my new Stylist BFF! read more

Had the most amazing cut and color by Dennis. He was amazing. The salon was clean, staff extremely friendly, service beyond words. Definately a customer for life. read more

This is a great salon! They are all very nice and helpful! My stylist (Stephanie) is a wizard! She takes her time and makes sure you are happy!! Will keep going back!! read more

So I recently moved to Pooler and I decided to check out different reviews to help me pick a salon I felt majority of clients had a good experience at. I'm not ever a person to complain, but I feel this is necessary to save another person's hair from being hacked at without being warned first. I had asked for layers and a beautiful long side bang. I brought in pictures and specifically asked if this was obtainable. I wanted to make sure that first I wasn't asking for her to work miracles and that my hair was the right type to fit the style and second that she felt it was something she could do. I ended up with an uneven chopped up mess and a giant chunk of hair cut to my forehead that would make every female cry looking in the mirror. Luckily, I'm not beyond the rationalization that my hair will grow back but I would never recommend this salon to any one...not even my dog. read more

Love this new location!!! Everyone is very sweet and accommodating, and I don't have to fight for parking. I've been going to see Nikki for as long as I can remember and it is so exciting to see her have 2 salons! Love my hair and seeing everyone there when I go in! If you haven't tried this place, you should! read more

I so meant to post this way sooner. I walked in to colorboxx 2 weeks ago and had a FABULOUS time!! I was sat in Jennifer Griffiths chair and she worked wonders on my mess head of hair! She was friendly, funny, and did such a terrific job. I will definitely be using her from here on out. My entire experience was great from the moment I walked I until I walked out of the door. I walked in and was sat in a chair in less than 15 minutes. I felt like I had been a long term client. I have so found my new fave place! read more

I went here today to get my hair colored. I wanted something different and new. What I got was pretty much the same thing I walked in with. There was no difference with my hair and I paid a hefty price for and it was a master stylist. I paid but would never come back here again. If my hair was going to look the same before and after I could just have it done it myself. read more

As a military spouse, I am constantly moving and always on the hunt for a new salon...after having one terrible experience in Richmond Hill, a friend recommended Colorboxx....For the first time in forever, I have actually left the salon loving my hair!!!! Stephanie is an artist who really knows color. She did exactly what I wanted...the color is beyond perfect and the cut has revived my hair. Thankful to have found my new place!!!!!!! read more

Colorboxx Hair Salon is the best in the business! Truly professionals who listen to your wants and needs and deliver above and beyond! I have been going to Colorboxx since I moved to Savannah four years ago. You won't find me anywhere else! I adore Nikki and all of the stylists here! read more

Stephanie is awesome. I had my haircut at another salon last weekend and it was horrible. I had hair down to my shoulder blades and I asked for a long bob. I ended up with a helmet with a dent when it was flat ironed or a mullet if I let it air dry. The lady had tried to put layers in it and cut the layers really short on top. I really thought I was going to have to cut all my hair off and wear a wig! Stephanie worked a miracle and turned it into a very flattering haircut. I am super happy and will definitely be back. I can't say thank you enough! read more

Hairdresser (Haruma) did not listen to the request wanted by my college daughter. She cut more than wanted and said it was because she wouldn't do what she considered a boring cut. I called to discuss the situation and the owner (Nikki) who said she overheard the word boring being used and saw that my daughter was crying over having six inches cut off - then told me that if I wrote a bad review anywhere, including here, she'd serve me with a cease and desist and sue me. Unbelievably bad service, I'd say. read more

My stylist seemed to be on drugs of some kind and butchered my cut, left me bronzy, and refused to fix it. Not cool considered I paid $300. Probably try a different salon read more

Terrible place to get hair done. I stopped in because in because I wanted a different fun look but it was terrible. Nikki is so unprofessional and does not know what she's doing. I thought it was very unprofessional because she kept going on the phone, and sounded like she had some major drama going on. She kept having her assistant do my hair and never would I go back. DONT GO HERE EVER, AND NIKKI IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW SHE RUNS A SALON-SHE HAS NO BUSINESS SENSE AT ALL. HOPEFULLY SHE CLOSES DOWN SOON! read more

OMG... Nikki and her team are absolutely amazing. As a matter of fact, I fly down to Savannah from Atlanta regularly just to see Nikki for my haircut and highlights. Yes, you read that right: I FLY down to Savannah to see Nikki. It's worth it!! read more

I went to colorboxx two times. The first time it was a regular haircuts that you can get anywhere else. The second time I went and the stylist had cut my hair a lot shorter than what I had explained and the layers were uneven. She also left a longer and noticeable strand of layer. It was so bad my husband noticed right away. I was pregnant at that time and all I wanted was a decent haircut to boost me up. It was terrible. I am not a person who complaints and leaving this review is not easy either. So I called the salon and politely explained what had happened, they said to Come in and someone else would fix it for me, but I had to wait two days because they were booked and I couldn't go in that same day ‍. I went in and I gave a tip to the stylist that fixed my hair. It wasn't her fault my hair was horrible. Overall, I ended up paying overprice for a horrible haircut. I felt ripped off. Wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone. read more

I've only used ColorBoxx once and my experience was pleasant and easy. The stylist was friendly and knowledge.

I decided to treat myself to a blowout while on vacation after seeing a sign out front that they had a blow out bar. The shampoo was sub par, so I asked for another shampoo thinking she would actually get my scalp clean. She didn't. It was a lot of suds without any scrubbing and she never washed the nape of my neck even after the second shampoo. It was downhill from there. After an hour of blow drying, it was a hot frizzy mess and I just wanted to get out of there and wash and dry my hair myself. read more
