I asked her why she didn't give me the courtesy of letting me know she is working on another client and she said it goes both ways and that I should have asked her. Yes we had a misunderstanding of what I needed done but I was able to let her know a few mins after she started doing my nails. All she had to let me know was that she won't be able to do my nails since her "appointment" had arrived but NO she walked away and just left me waiting. First he cut the skin so close on my big toe it was bleeding, then he cut the BACK of my heel twice with the foot file. You shouldn't have that grater anywhere close to side of your foot. When I left an hour later it was still bleeding and I had to ask for a bandaid. The lady was nice enough to put neosporin on it and a bandaid, but it doesn't change the fact that he knew he did it and didn't do anything to fix it when it happened, and he didn't even tell me, I saw the blood on the towel. I felt it but assumed it was a little knick until it was still bleeding an hour later. I went there because they are the only nail salon open on Sunday in Springfield GA. I hate to write bad reviews but I'm really unhappy about this, especially since it cost me over $160 (2 pedicures w/ just polish & 2 basic manicures w/ just polish) and feel like i was mistreated. And I wouldn't really be mad over the price if I hadn't had to be bandaged before leaving. When i said i was bleeding at checkout, the lady at the counter said "your still bleeding?", which makes me think that this is not a rare situation. Ive been to several other nail salons for pedicures, and never been cut with anything. Third Update- Long Version: When I called on Sunday, the two women who answered were incredibly kind and genuinely tried to help. I explained that returning to a nail salon three days in a row simply wasn't feasible for me, and they forwarded me to Ken for further assistance. My conversation with him took an unexpected turn. Although he stated their policy allows refunds within three business days, which hadn't yet passed, he still declined due to "company policy" and referenced my unfavorable review as a reason. He repeatedly suggested that a refund would only be considered if I removed my review. I understand wanting to protect a new business's reputation, but I don't believe customers should be asked to alter their honest experiences in exchange for help. I also explained that the nail tech I saw was wonderful, and that my return the following day was my attempt to let the business address the issue. Despite this, I left the call feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. I genuinely wanted to love this place, and I hope their approach to handling dissatisfied customers improves. Empathy and resolution shouldn't hinge on removing an honest review. Second Update: I got my nails done on Friday and had to go back Saturday due to a nail chipping (I got gel over an acrylic fill) It's now Saturday night and three more nails chipped/are lifting. I'll be calling in the morning to speak to a manager. This is unacceptable.
