I'd like to first start out with a complement to the entire salon for their customer service…read more I went in for a consultation for extensions, (which I have never done before). I first met with Lilly at the front with a very warm welcome. Next, I saw Delia for my consult. My hair is so thin and fine due to loss of hair from recent stress and life. After careful review and over 30 minutes of consulting with me, she explained that I was not a good candidate for the type of extensions she does. With that said, she ask me to wait while she consults with another co-worker. Alyssa came over and talked to me about other ways to install hair extensions and she felt like she could help me. As it turned out they just happened to have my exact color in the shop that day (they normally have to order your color). So, she played around and showed me what the outcome could look like. She just so happened to have an opening the following Tuesday for me to come in. This is normally a 3 plus hour appointment, but she made it happen. Perfect timing as I was leaving on Thursday for Atlanta for family celebrating, then the following Thursday for Vegas for vacation. She spent 5 hours with me and my hair looks Amazing. If you're looking for a true customer satisfaction experience, go, see them!!!!

Perfect hair for elopement in Savannah!…read more Savannah the stylist is awesome. She did such a wonderful job on my make-up and hair. I was very specific in what I wanted, and she absolutely hit the mark. I wanted a clean look with the make-up since I don't usually wear a lot, but wanted enough to look good for my wedding photos. She did such a good job. Even my fiance loved it, and he almost never likes any make-up I wear. For my hair, she did an awesome updo and placed my veil. In addition to doing a great job, she has a wonderful and sweet personality. If I lived in Savannah, I know I'd want her to be my regular stylist. Thank you Savannah for adding to the specialness of my awesome wedding weekend!

I went in about a month ago and saw Brittany for blonde balayage and a trim. She did a fantastic…read morejob. The coloring is gorgeous, natural looking (not brassy, yellowy, or violet) and has a lot of depth. She was a total sweetheart too. Highly recommended! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the salon's prices. $$$ on Yelp would be more accurate than the current $$ rating. This is not to say that they don't do a high quality job though. My hair is slightly longer than a pixie, and a very quick cut/trim after my coloring added $65 to my tab. That's bonkers. I might understand that price for someone with long hair who wants layering/texturing/new bangs, etc. but they should consider pricing their cuts on different levels. Also, the balayage was considerably more expensive than at my last salon in Austin - where everything is already stupid expensive. I still plan on going back though because I've yet to find another blonde colorist in this city who is as good as Brittany! I'll just have to get my hair cut somewhere cheaper.

If I were her the owner I would spending time with my customers and not ignore the customer sitting right in front of her. I was no disappointed . Don't waste Yur time with this place . All the hair dressers didn't have there hair done. They looked raggedy and not a good representation of their practice. Don't waste Yur time plus their prices were way too high.

They squeezed us in for a back to back appointment. When we arrived, the salon was smaller than I expected- not in a bad way though! It was cute and quaint- 3 chairs and 2 wash sinks. Casey styled both of us and did a FANTASTIC job. I've gotten a fair amount of blow outs from both small independent salons and large blow-out chains. This was hands down the best blow out I've ever had. Casey was so kind and knew exactly how to make my mom and I look great- she listened to what we wanted and guided us when we asked for help! My moms hair looked amazing- the difference before and after was so awesome. Casey made my mom's hair look so silky and soft and gorgeous. Loved mine too! Whenever I am back in Savannah this will be my first stop. I highly recommend the ladies at Let it Blo, especially Casey!

Luckily for Savannah residents that want something other than tiger-striped highlights and mom-cuts,............. Color Boxx exists! I moved here from Miami and after 6 months I was in desperate need of a pick-me-up color wise. I had grown out highlights all the way past my chin (the poor woman's ombre) and was ready to switch it up to something more maintainable like a Baliage! I didn't have a stylist to request, so they assigned me one at random and I'm glad they did! Hiromi was so sweet, professional, and a total maven behind the chair! She very intently looked at the photos I brought in for inspiration and gave me honest opinions on how my color would look best for my complexion and the season. Additionally, I had gotten a not-so-hot cut at a chain salon here in Savannah a few months prior that had very blunt and short layers (not my style). With shoulder length hair she was able to blend in the harsh layers WHILE preserving the length I wanted. The color came out fantastic, Hiromi took time and energy into the Baliage using french-technique. I have never had color come out so fantastically on my hair! Literally NO complaints. The prices were fair for an upscale salon, and I received a small discount for living downtown which was very nice. I definitely recommend Color Boxx as well as Hiromi. While dealing with work stress, I decided-as all young women under stress at some point do-to chop off all my hair. Prior to our trip, I entrusted the fate of my hair with a dear friend with these instructions: Pick a hairstyle for me, show it to the hairdresser, do NOT show it to me. Shaving my head is not off the table. On a quiet Thursday afternoon (well before the city would come alive with holiday tourists on the weekend), my friend and I hiked around the historic district to find a salon that could fit me in on short notice. After getting on the cancellation list at two different salons, we found Shine. The receptionist warmly welcomed us and I immediately felt less intimidated than I was at the previous two salons we tried. We happened to come at the right time, as Amy G. was able to fit me in with only a 10-minute wait. When we explained our blind-hairstyle-experiment-of-trust, she got so excited to be in on the plan. She was absolutely game for it! She offered her expertise in choosing a style based on the weight of my hair from the examples my friend provided. She's fast (with my dry haircut), detailed, and made sure the style looked even with how my hair is parted. Amy also took the time to fill us in on the insider scoop of Savannah-where to go, what to eat, what's overrated, what we should see. Ultimately, I'm glad we found Amy. She made our bonding experience so much more enjoyable. She's the type of person you feel like you've known forever. Not only do I love the style I got, but I really enjoyed my time at Shine!
