What I needed was nowhere to be found. Jan at R&J Cabinetry came to my rescue. They offer many options and pricepoints and this quaint owner operator cabinetry store was able to find exactly what I needed. Jan was meticulous with details that were important to me. When she wasn't sure she would contact her cabinet representative to confirm exactly what was available for me. The whole process took less than a week. Jan was very responsive via text, phone and follow up. We haven't completed our project yet but have ordered our custom cabinet (which was also a reasonable price). Once we complete the project I will upload pictures. For now I have the visual rendering Jan provided which I can't seem to upload. The measurements were a special and non standard size. Jan helped me avoid mistakes with her many years of experience of what does and doesn't work in a kitchen. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a keen attention to detail. Jan is also committed to everything being right. She came back to my house to meet with my installer, to ensure he fully understood the kitchen design. She responds to emails and calls quickly, and is patient in answering questions. When one of our cabinet doors didn't look perfect, she replaced it. I'm very happy we shopped around some more. Lori was quick to respond and get an in-home estimate scheduled. She thoroughly explained all the options and what would look best to get our 1980's kitchen a bit more modern. They have a wide selection of styles and finishes to choose from. I was amazed at the difference in prices between the quotes. Not only a bunch (~50% cheaper), but better quality all around. It took two full days and only a couple hours on the third day to get everything installed. Allen is a true craftsman. He pointed out issues with the existing cabinets and was quick to fix them. Every step of the way he kept us informed. His attention to detail was astonishing. Items I would have never considered, such as the way the cabinets should open and putting in hinge stops to prevent the doors from running into other cabinets. Very careful and respectful of our entire house. Super friendly and was sure to clean up each day. I can't praise Home Improvements of Colorado enough. I always felt I could email them with any questions prior to the installation and they would get right back to me. Don't look any further. If you want the best, this is the only place you need to call.

Steve came out, gave me his opinions on things and went home and hand sketched my vision on paper. Not only that but his quote was fantastic. These are custom hardwood pieces for a great deal. It includes installation, constant check ins from Steve, and the fun part of picking a stain and finishes. I can not say enough good things about this company.
