My wife and I have been customers of Colonial Pest Control for nearly twenty years, and my guess is we will be their customers for another twenty. We routinely have them out twice annually - in the early-May and mid-September. [This, as opposed to other pest control companies who have wanted to require us to commit to three or four visits annually, with each visit costing 150%+ of Colonial's per-visit cost.]
I've rarely felt more than two visits annually were necessary. In all of these years, on two occasions we ran out of mice bait near the end of the winter... and I know if I'd called them, they'd have made a special trip to the house to re-bait the traps. [They technician has actually said I should call if we run out of bait so he can stop by when he is in the area]
The tech sprays for ants and spiders and wasps, and baits a half dozen mouse bait-stations in the basement and garage. On one occasion we had wasps in the attic and he went through the scuttle to spread some powder (and, if memory serves me correctly, that was covered by CP as being under the base charge).
If they arrive and I am not home, the tech treats the exterior and then arranges to come back to do the basement (spiders and mice). All for the same base charge.
And the tech is super-friendly and very professional.
All of this for less than one-third what it would cost me to have the competition come in.....no thanks!!
