I love this place because Dr. Kerry has kept my eyes healthy for the last 23 year! He is the…read morenicest, most cheery eye doctor around. I wear contacts and this office does a great job of getting trials set up and they have a fun selection of glasses too. They check your eye health and keep you in the know for any problems. Thanks to the staff for being so accommodating when I was 10 min late!

This review covers only the eye/vision exam…read more Due to recent insurance changes, I saw Dr. Atkins and his team at Eyedentity for the first time. He was recommended in a neighborhood FB group. Appointment can be made either via phone/text, or online. I was able to make an appointment in less than 2 weeks' time. On the day of the appointment, I didn't experience any delays. They already had my insurance information, taken care of via phone prior to the appointment, so I just walked right into the initial imaging portion of the exam. Another lady in a separate room used three machines to 1) photograph the retinas, 2) test the blood pressure of the eye, and 3) get an approximate reading of my eye's prescription. Upon seeing Dr. Atkins and after initial introductions, Dr. Atkins took my glasses to get a reading, which luckily matches the readings from machine #3 above. Phew, that means my eyes didn't take a nosedive from last year. Then he reviewed the retina images with me. These images examine the health of my eyes (as well as me overall, since the blood vessels health and cholesterol are interrelated between eye and body) and rather I am developing glaucoma. Knock on wood, all is well. Then we did the usual is "a or b better" to dial in my prescription. Overall, the appointment was swift and no surprises. While I looked at their eye glasses options at the office, they worked on writing out my prescription. This part took the longest time, surprisingly. All in all, this visit is a reasonable experience that met expectations.

Lee was so nice! I barely got there in time to pick up my glasses and he even waited for me to pick out some sunnies too! Thanks!

KEEP LOOKING... I cannot recommend this place…read more The exams were good until we decided to order glasses. I asked for progressive bifocals with anti-reflective, and transitions lenses. The same type of lenses I have gotten for the past ~20 years. When receiving my glasses from Valerie I mentioned that they have a grayish yellow tint. I'm not a fan of this coloration on the lens as they create a raccoon eye affect. Additionally, I happened to drop the glasses on the floor (from waist height) and one of the lenses popped out. Seems like workmanship might have been an issue. She says she asked for the lab to redo the lens to correct the tint while reinserting the lens. Yet, when the glasses were returned, they still had the coloration added. I don't believe they changed the lens at all. And this is where I have a problem with customer service. When I pointed out that the problem persists I was dismissed and made to feel as if I created the issue and it is not their problem. I asked Valerie if she could just check with the lab and ask for their help in determining the problem. Her response was to yell at me that they have already sent the glasses back once and there is nothing else they can do. Now that I have used my insurance allowance with them I cannot order new lenses with another shop unless I pay out of pocket. Very disappointing. Two other areas of concern: 1. You need a separate appointment from your exam, in order to shop for glasses. The technician (Valerie) needs to unlock each pair of glasses from the case before you can try them on. 2. The parking situation in Chelsea village can be described as "difficult" at best. Paid parking requires that you sign up with personal information that is kept on file. All of this makes the entire experience less than desirable for a repeat. I cannot recommend this place.

WASHINGTON PACIFIC EYE ASSOCIATES @ KIRKLAND…read more Parking here can be a little difficult since it's mostly street parking. Just make sure you find a spot that allows two-hour parking rather than 30 minutes. I'd recommend parking on the left side near Jimmy John's or the Overlake Clinic, there's a good amount of street parking on both sides of the road in that area. I came in around 10 AM and the staff were extremely friendly. They asked about my day and how my morning was, which I really appreciated. I signed a couple of papers to get started and provided my insurance information, my mom is also on the insurance, so it was really nice that they already had a primary provider on file. I was quickly taken into a room and completed a few exams. I also received a free wellness exam since my mom is a current member, which was a huge plus. One thing I really liked about this place is that they don't do the air puff test that most eye doctors use. Usually there's a blue light you stare at and a puff of air that can irritate your eyes, so I was preparing myself for that. I was really happy they didn't do that here. Everything felt very subtle, comfortable, and smooth throughout the exam. The doctor was very kind and thorough. I did end up needing glasses, especially for long-distance driving, and the whole process of getting that figured out was quick and easy. I was able to choose my frames right after, and it was a very seamless experience. My total came out to around $100, and my insurance covered a large portion of it. My glasses should be ready within the next two weeks. Overall, I really loved this place. The staff are incredibly friendly, the process was easy, and the care was great. I would definitely recommend stopping by and I would absolutely come back again.

Our son's contact lens fitting appointment was canceled without my authorization. I never asked to cancel--if I had, I would not have rearranged my entire family's schedule for this visit. We wasted an entire day only to arrive and find out the appointment was cancelled. To make matters worse, when we got to the office, the person scheduled to see was sitting at the front desk the entire time as my husband and son waited. This shows that our time slot was open and could have been easily used, with zero valid reason for turning us away. Management was completely unprofessional throughout. Not only did nobody apologize to us in person, but no real effort was made to accommodate our son, and nobody took accountability for the staff's mistakes. Now, because of this incompetence, I have to take more time off work, my son has to miss more school, and our family has to bear the burden of their disorganization. Today's experience ruined all of my previous positive experiences with this clinic. As much as I hate the thought of changing eye clinics for my entire family, I do not want to interact with them again. If you value your time, your sanity, or your family's well-being, I suggest you go anywhere else. This place is the perfect example of how a clinic should NOT be run.

We have been visiting him for quite some time and we feel very comfortable on his diagnosis. Staff members at the optic are very kind, friendly, and helpful when choosing glasses. That's is very needed because you're going to weat the glasses at all times. So better be something that suit you, you like, and fit. They even helped me with billing! The Receptionist has been changing a couple of times, but they are very nice. The only thing is that some nurses (because they changed) were rude (young one a couple of years ago), or very slow (last year). She even asked me to dictate all her report 5 times! We were very late for the appointment. It took 45 minutes because she was late with someone else beforehand. I also would suggest not performing some tests on little toddlers because they hardly follow instructions stay in one place. Dr can easily take a look to their eyes and diagnose. He's been pretty good by doing it directly. I guess at the end trying can't hurt though. I've always found parking. Almost all nearby spots are taken. Therest are compact. I don't know whay small cars or motorcycles take the big ones making people with trucks or SUVs to park in very tight spots.
