I was turned off by the cashier handling money, talking on the food and then dipping her hand into the lettuce to make my salad with no clothes. Umm no! I thought it was a bad dream. Ecoli City!! read more

I've been enjoying Colonial for about 11-12 years. Very seldom disappointed. Poor tourists wasting money at Geno's & Pats. The best steaks are at the mom & pop places like this. Stuffed shells w meatballs YES. Hoagies YES YES. Chicken fingers oh yeah. Gyros yup. Delivery can be a little slow sometimes but worth the wait. read more

Colonial Kitchen - Colonial's yummy chicken tenders platter - Pizza Near Me - Lansdowne, Pennsylvania

We ordered food late last night. I ordered the grilled chicken garden salad. The chicken breast was grilled to perfection and seasoned appropriately. The portion was huge. My husband ordered the buffalo wings, which he loved. Delivery service was fast. I will definitely be ordering again. read more

We have been ordering for years. Always great food! Friendly staff. Today we decided to order something a little different, we got the spinach and ricotta white Pizza and a tossed salad. We were in heaven, the best we have had. Very flavorful and done perfect. If you are in the area and are looking for delicious, reasonably priced food check it out. All their stuff is good! read more

Rude customer service from counter girls and I found a roach leg on my fries in my shrimp platter. This place is dirty and the board of health needs to do a sneak inspection. I honestly do not recommend this place at all! read more

Love the food, Love the people! Always friendly to me, especially the counter girls! Colonial Fries are awesome, so are the salads, and pizza, and steaks, and the pasta... Just about anything you can get there is good! I've been going to this place for over 20 years and not one bad experience. read more

I swear these folks make that food with all of the love in the world...I've never had pizza so good that it made me want to run out into the street and yell to the neighborhood about it. I, sinfully, had their chicken bbq pizza and mild wings one night. Guess what, it was so tasty that I went back the next night and had the chicken cheese steak and bbq wings AND shamefully patroned the third night in a row for the 5 cheese pizza and more wings....WOW!!! I've never eaten somewhere three nights in a row. Not only is there food exceptional but the service was quick and they were friendly to myself and others from the neighborhood that I observed. When I am back in the Philly area, I will definitely frequent Colonial Kitchen again. Oh, and add a Root Beer to your order....ppppppperfection! read more

The best quesadilla's I've had. I usually get the Honey Dijon chicken quesadilla. It's a good portion for about $8.00. I'm always satisfied when I order... read more

I've lived out in Lansdowne almost all my life and in all my years there, Colonial Kitchen was one place I found myself constantly ordering from. Not only was it close, the food was always great and the deliveries never took a long time. The pizzas, particularly their meat lovers and vegetarian, makes you wish you ordered another box. Their hoagies are just as good as their cheesesteaks, which are filling, and I know no one who dislikes their desserts. However, I do want to point out the super, unreasonable costs of a two liter soda. Besides that, the prices of pizza, other hot foods like their burger deluxes and platters are reasonably priced and filling. read more

This place has the best food in the Yeadon / Lansdowne area. The food is always hot and fresh. Delivery is fast, but I prefer pick up. It's rare that you find a place with great customer service, great food, and affordable pricing. Well Colonial has it all plus so much more! read more

Hats off to Chris and his crew! Giving the Italians a run for their money because their homemade spaghetti sauce makes Colonial Kitchen a weekly destination for takeout. Efkharisto! read more

Try the Colonial Fries. Everyone I've shared them with is an instant addict!

I would recommend the loin fries and buffalo fries at Colonial Kitchen they are awesome!!! The service is nice as well.

Favorite go to spot in Lansdowne for Jumbo shrimp w/ buffalo sauce , steak fries and their chicken cheesesteaks are bomb! This little hidden gem is great for delivery. It's fast , staff is friendly and good food. read more

I had 2 beef gyros while the wife had a vegetarian calzone. Both were excellent and made with fresh vegetables, with a great taste. Service was friendly, efficient and quick. Really liked this place and hope to eat here again soon. read more

One of the best places around. Quality guranteed no matter what u order.

awesome food, awesome staff and great prices. I highly recommend colonial kitchen to all the locals and out of towners

Great service, delicious take out... pizza, hoagies, salads, you name it. Another delaware county treasure, my parents love the "Chicken Salad Salad", but shoot, I love it all. read more

Exceptional service, kind people, great food! We were visiting from out of town for the Army Navy football game, and stopped here for dinner afterwards. We enjoyed the pizza, wings, and fried mushrooms. Our favorite was the white pizza - delicious! After dinner, we tried to leave, but realized we couldn't find our car keys and were afraid they were locked in the car. The kind employees all recommended the best people to call to get the car unlocked, looked up numbers for us, and let us wait inside. Once the car was open, we still couldn't find the keys. We started searching the street in case they were dropped and arranging for a tow truck. Once again the staff was awesome. They were outside helping us look, recommending tow trucks, and being so kind. One of their former employees was eating dinner there and even was kind enough to give two of our group a ride back to the hotel to get our other car. (Cabs had a 1.5 hour wait due to the game.) We eventually found the keys in the street, but what I remember most about the experience was the kindness from all the people at Colonial Kitchen. Thank you! read more

I ordered from here on a Saturday nite the girl that answered the phone was beyond friggin rude. When the food arrived it was AWFUL. I don't know how else to explain it. The wings were like rubber the pizza was soggy and bland. I won't ever be ordering from this dump again. read more

Honestly it's one of my favorite places to order from when I want something simple. I have never ordered an entree, so I can't honestly comment on that. I've ordered burgers, chicken tenders, popcorn chicken, cheesesteaks, pizzas, stromboli, and calzone and I have loved all of these. Their pizza crusts are crunchy and the sausage (if you choose to order that) has a spicy kick to it! As a resident of the greater Philadelphia area, I can tell you that Colonial has one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had. I don't know what it is about it, but when I think cheesesteaks I think Colonial. Also Chris, one of the Greek owners, is always very friendly! read more

My favorite pizza in the area! Never a disappointment. Try the upside down pizza!

This place is pretty good, it has been around for over 30 years so they must be doing something right. I mostly go here for convenience, I live a block away. I also enjoy the new service of being able to order online. read more

I order from here once a week. I love their upside down pizza. Their small hoagies/steaks are gigantic! You should see the sz of the large! I just ate a chicken teriyaki wrap and it was delicious! The crab cakes are okay, I wouldnt order them again. I love their Gyros and Gryro Wraps! Their menu has so many items on it and you can order online! www.colonialkitchenpizza.com I put this here because googling it took me a while to find it. Delivery is pretty quick. I did have a pc of wood in a pizza slice one time from the mushrooms. Called the manager and he put on my account a free pizza for next time! They did honor it too! Great Place. Great Food! Fast Delivery & Online Ordering! What more can you ask for! read more

BOMB ASS FOOD! Everything i had is good. Cheesesteak & Wing ding platter are the best. Great prices. You can order online or call in.The normal wait for delivery is 30-50mins so don't order when ur starving. Pick up time is faster. They accept cash and cards so that a plus for me b/c I like to keep my money in the bank. read more

I've been eating here my whole life. Without a doubt, my favorite cheesesteak in the Philadelphia area!

Good food, and great prices. My family who moved out of town will still go here and order a crazy amount of Philly cheesesteaks to freeze and take home. Cashiers could be friendlier, have kind of gone down hill over the years, but the food is worth the trip. read more

Interesting place. Burgers are very practical. Nothing overly flavorful but they taste home made and seem like the beef was never frozen. Also they're huge! I can't eat more than a burger (if that) when I order from this place. Prices are cheap. Service is quick. read more

Never again, I've never been to a place that charges 75 cents to use a credit card. I've been going there since I was a kid and now your ripping off your customers what a scam. I will be reporting you as well. And bashing your place every. Chance I get. No longer loyal. read more

I really hope the food is good, because when I just placed a delivery order over the phone, the woman was SO RUDE. When I asked about salad sizes, she said they're "all the same" and actually sighed as if I was annoying her. I would have canceled the order, but I was sending food to my friend who just had a baby. The woman was impatient and actually hung up on me when I was trying to say thank you at the end of the phone call. RUDE RUDE RUDE. Will definitely not do business with them again!!!!! read more

I LOVE this place!! Every time I order whether it's on the phone or in person, they are very helpful and polite and really nice. Just what I expect from any place I patronize. Now about the food, I've been ordering from here for years, since a friend told me about them and everything I've ever ordered, from cheese steaks, stromboli and pizza it has all been delicious. Definitely worth every penny!! read more

My boyfriend and I used to order from here 2-3 times a week. We mostly did delivery (which we graciously tipped the drivers $5 EVERY SINGLE TIME) with a rare pickup here and there. Honestly we saw a huge change when one of the counter girls seemed to have left. I wish I knew her name but she was always super kind, actually listened when we were giving our order and knew the menu. The last 10 or so times we ordered we were getting a different gal who seemed very annoyed from the second she answered the phone. We were never difficult with her, never gave her an attitude, never huffed and puffed as she did on the other end. Not only was she rude but our orders started being consistently incorrect (a problem we had NEVER experienced previously). Forgetting the roll that comes with our dinner, Us asking for a hoagie with no onions but pickles added and it arriving with literally just roll, meat, cheese and pickles(since when does saying no onions mean leave EVERYTHING else off!?!), deliveries started taking longer which resulted in warm soggy food, and so on. I know some of these things may sound petty but after 2 years of ordering from them it was very obvious that something had seriously changed. We were very good, loyal customers. I hope that in the future they get better help so that they don't continue to lose business. read more

I've lived in the area for almost 10 years and have maybe patronized this establishment about 3 or 4 times and that was about 3 years ago. I am not a fan of the food and in fact, the restaurant about a block up from them has better food in my opinion. The last thing I had gotten from Colonial was a chicken cheese steak and it was thick cuts of marinated chicken breasts which I don't care for. The on another occasion I ordered a calzone that was nothing more than a stromboli. read more

Grew up coming to this place. My favorite cheesesteak period. Still the first spot I want to eat from when I come home. Just got a cheesesteak with fried onions and hot peppers the other day. Still as good as it was 20 years ago. Tastes like home. A neighborhood institution. If you're in the area, don't go anywhere else for a cheesesteak. read more

They were fast with the delivery. My food was still hot when it arrives. Not warm like most places. We ordered their pizza Gyro and soup. Everything was very good. Definitely will be ordering from here again. read more

My family and I order from here a lot. The staff is nice and their pizza its sooo good. Oddly we also love it the next day as a left over (we think it tastes even better!) I have several other food selections and all have been good. read more

My absolute favorite take-out & delivery place, always the first food I get whenever I get home from a long trip away. Well priced, fantastic food and a friendly helpful staff. They're always having some kind of special and have a great selection of dishes for whatever you're in the mood for. The gyro's and the 5 cheese pizza are the best! read more

Food is good, but the staff is not great. They do not know how to talk to customers or compensate for mistakes. The owner had a attitude with me when they messed up my order...can you believe that? He remade my order and messed it up again ! So terrible that I had to come back multiple times for them to get it right. Staff is also unsanitary, none of them wear gloves. Cashiers prepared meals right after taking money from God knows where. Good food though overall. read more

Always delicious and the portion size is amazing for the price! I am never disappointed and this pizza place is always consistent. Highly recommended! The cheesesteaks are amazing! read more
