I ordered 2 scallops platter yesterday and the food was ice cold. I should have known when the girl could not find it and someone helped her find it. That should have been the sign for me to walk out and say Never mind but I would not want someone to do that to me and so I paid and left. I called when I got home and open the food less than 2 min drive, I called them. I can't believe it as much money as I spent there weekly, NO I'm sorry or nothing like it was my fault, I came right there so I asked to speak to the owner, the owner got on the phone and was AS Stupid as the girl. CRAZY THE FOOD WAS COLD AND HORRIBLE and you don't want to correct it, I said you rather lose a customer over a $3o.oo order. Someone said that they found a bug in the food, I really should have stopped and said Never mind, I think I will call the health inspector to see if someone called it in. BYE BYE Colonial Kitchen and I will stay with BEST QUALITY AND PIZZA PARADISE. I order from both of them and haven't had any issue. If something is wrong, they correct it. read more

CREDIT CARD THEFT---Never ever ordering from them again. I used my brand new credit card to order food from them on April 6,2020 when Covid restrictions first happened. On April 7th, someone from that store started using my card all over Delco. Places I have never been. Also used it to purchase PlayStation stuff and tickets on some ticket app. I just found out and called the store. The ignorant manager Georgia, didn't even say she would have the manager CHRIS I think his name is look into it or call me. She said it wasn't them and got al defensive. But it was someone in that store. I have never used the card other than at that store. The food isn't that good anyway. CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS read more

I've been ordering from here for the past 2 years! Definitely the best delivery food available in the area. I started out only ordering chicken cheese steaks & pizza which are both REALLY good. A couple days ago I wanted something different so I ordered the turkey burger platter with curly fries & coleslaw $9 w/ delivery charge. Absolutely delicious!! I'm almost mad I didn't step out of my comfort zone sooner. Well done guys well done!! I also order online, it's super easy & delivery is always quick. read more

This Pizza Place Has Great Food But HORRIBLE Customer Service. Drivers Are Rude And People Who Take The Order Don't Tell The Truth. I told the cashier i want it delivered to the 4th floor that's where my apartment is. She said that's fine and she added the code to the receipts for the driver. I also told her no cheese and she added cheese. The driver came to the 4th floor to my apartment door and delivered the food. I opened it, it had cheese on it. I guess the owner/manager told me he was gonna send another one out. I said okay. The new driver called me and said "I'm not coming up so you gotta come down" I told him I'm not coming down so just take it back. You don't call someone's phone n say that after there driver already brought it up to me before and the cashier said it wasn't a problem. So I called back the manger/owner and he said what do u want me to do. I told him to find a driver who's gonna do there job n deliver to my door that I pay rent for. Not the door I don't pay for. He told me he's not taking my order no more if I can't listen to the drivers. Bad customer services. We pay for delivery to our door that's why we order delivery. And if you can't do that then don't deliver at all. Period. read more

The best cheese steaks and the best cheese cake! They also have lasagna which is delicious and a vegetarian option!

They changed the recipe for the pizza and the sauce is now super salty. The dough tastes processed. It is much different than it used to be.

10 out of 10, every single time. Their Hawaiian is a family fave, and (hear me out), we always get a mini white ricotta with olives and broccoli ‍ yup. Delivery always on point. read more

Terrible, terrible pizza, and slovenly kitchen practices. I can't understand why they're always busy. They also are bad neighbors, who pour their grease down the storm drains. I highly recommend finding a cleaner, more responsible business to support. Chances are it will also taste better. read more

I'm from the area and although I've never been a regular at CK I wanted to try them out some more. I'm so glad that I did. First of all, their tuna salad hoagie is EVERYTHING. And their pizza is very very good. I've always known about the pizza but I'm new to their hoagies. I've never waited very long for my order. Satisfied customer here read more

Just had the chicken parm and pasta. Ten bucks for a huge portion. Me and the dog were grubbin. Full for the rest of the night and satisfied

This place is worthless. The management is rude and inconsiderate. They over charge for their food even though it's listed as one price on their online menu they won't honor that and tell you " the price is what I am telling you it is". Never in my life have I been to such an awful establishment. Then they forgot to give me part of my order and when I called them about it. The owner said I don't care about your Pepsi you left without it not my problem and then hung up on me. Then they reply to my review like this what a joke "Don't try to pay for small items when you order large items don't throw money because when told you order large and shown why your bill was correct and don't pretend you know what you're talking about when your stupid" the owner wrote that. After I went in showing them that the prices listed online for their food. Piss pour representation of management. Who should think of learning the difference between your and you're before calling a customer stupid for pointing out that the third party website they use to advertise has their prices listed wrong. read more

This used to be my go to place for good food. Last year I questioned a price change on an item. One price listed on website and when I ordered it, the cost went up. I called and the woman that answered the phone gave me a cock and bull story about that was how their website worked. I proved her to be a liar because I went back in again and ordered the same item and the price didn't change. I cancelled the order and haven't been back since It's a shame because I really liked their food read more

I grew up around the corner from Colonial Kitchen, so it was the only place we'd get food. I used to think it was the best food, until I had food at other places The salads are really good and hearty, but the appetizers are always soggy and lacking in flavor. The chicken fingers have too much breading and the hoagies are covered in oregano (even when you ask for NO oregano). Add insult to injury, the females that answer the phone always have an attitude, like they are doing you a favor by taking your order. By ordering, I'm giving you business, so you can get paid at the end of the week. Make sense? I think if they changed the quality of their product, I'd have a better outlook on them. read more

Ordered from Colonial Kitchen today, and I have to say the service was poor. I placed an order for my coworkers and myself, and honestly the food was run of the mill to good. The cheeseburger club was mediocre with the patty being overcooked and the sandwich itself being overwhelmed with toppings. the cheese steak wrap was good, could have been toasted more, but was solid. The gyro platter was ok, the fries were soggy, and the salad unappetizing. The gyro meat itself is exactly what you should expect from most greek style pizza shops, precooked, reheated, beef lamb formed strips, with a slightly bland tzatziki sauce. Finally the Tuna Salad Hoagie, being very good, two of my coworkers ordered this sandwich. One was ordered with everything, lettuce, tomato, onions, etc, while the other was ordered with just tuna salad and the roll. I know I ordered it plain because I said it three times, stating just the salad and the roll. The operator taking the order asked me to confirm and I did three times. Once the food arrived, my coworkers and I started to eat our lunch. The plain tuna salad hoagie, came with Lettuce Tomato and Onion on it. This is a problem for my coworker because he is allergic to tomatoes. In his frustration he gave the sandwich to another coworker that didn't order because he had to get something else. I called back to let Colonial Kitchen know, and the first thing I was greeted with was rudeness from their operator saying, "YOU ONLY SAID NO CHEESE!" practically yelling at me over the phone. I corrected her and said, "No I told you three times, salad and roll only." She finally says, "Fine, we will send it out, but you have to send that one back." Unbeknownst to me at the time, my coworker had already given the sandwich to another coworker, so I called back and cancelled the second sandwich. With the amount of vitriol spewed from that one employee, I don't see myself, or my colleagues giving our business to Colonial Kitchen again. The order was $54 dollars, and we order every Saturday from local restaurants to show our support in the community, but colonial is one business we won't be patronizing again. read more

I ordered a chicken cheesesteak Stromboli and a grilled chicken salad the chicken cheesesteak Stromboli was over cooked on the bottom and undercooked on the top the salad roughage had a very nasty taste. 15 years ago, there was a place named Family Style Pizza, in Yeadon. They had the best pizza I'd ever had. The family sold the place and the new owners ruined the pizza and the name of the business. This place is the closest thing I've ever tasted. I work in the area, and for five years I've searched for a good pizza pie. Colonial Kitchen has solved my quest. The crust is flaky and buttery, the pie isn't too soggy, the cheese is balanced, and the toppings are great. This place is so good, I ordered from them TWICE in the same week. I almost ordered for a THIRD time tonight. I can't wait to order from them again. read more

I've been ordering from here for years and it's really gone downhill. When you order a calzone, you should get a calzone, not a stromboli. ..umm not the same thing. But when they finally get the order right, you get a sparingly swipe if ricotta cheese. A calzone should be stuffed with ricotta....idiots! The counter girls....R.U.D.E.....no matter if it's on the phone or if you go in to pick up, they're arrogant little prisses who stare you down like you wrote on the bathroom wall about them in high school. Grow up! Also, if anyone has ever noticed when picking up, these people don't wear gloves when making your food, or hats or hair nets. I'm certified in the food industry, and I know AS A FACT, all employees must wear gloves and have a hair restraint at all times when in the food prep areas! Gross! Last weekend, I ordered 2 meatball subs. Instead I got a roll with sliced meatballs! Who slices meatballs?? When I order a meatball sub, I want meat BALLS, not some disgusting slices that used to be meatballs! Not to menton, these strange slices of mystery meat didn't even fill the roll....so I paid 7 odd dollars a piece for tomato sauce bread. CROOKS!! STOP ORDERING FROM THESE PEOPLE! read more

New Favorite Pizza Delivery!!! I have been ordering pizza in this area for over 7 years, and this place is the BEST so far! EASY ORDERING: First of all, I LOVE the online ordering system. It was easy to get exactly what we wanted and track the order while we waited. I even got 10% off because it was my first online order! QUICK DELIVERY: The estimated delivery time said 30-40 minutes, but they were knocking at my door in about 20! And the food was hot! YUMMY FOOD: We ordered a small pizza, 1/2 BBQ Chicken and the other 1/2 Buffalo Chicken. The sauce on each was flavorful and just the right amount. There was a nice amount of chicken and this pizza could have easily fed 2 people. We also ordered a large White Pizza w/sausage. It was covered in toasted Italian sausage crumbles and garlic! The crust was crisp and buttery, with just the right amount of cheese. It was SOOO good! read more

I've loved this restaurant since the day I moved here even frequent when I visited before moving here Over 13 yrs. Quality has gone down. They touch phones, handle money and go back to making food. She didn't have gloves on or wash hands. I had to ask her to wear gloves when making my salads and hoagie. She had a attitude then. And when making my salad she took it out of wrapper and didn't wash it. I told her she had to wash my Iceberg and she got annoyed. I won't be doing business with them ever again. I took the hoagie back after eating some of the salad. It tasted dirty. She never washed the lettuce. When I talked to the owner about this. His excuse was short handed. But reading the reviews other customers say the same thing. Touching money and touching food. Long polished nails hair hanging down. Unsanitary. read more

This is a terrible place! They put bacon on my pizza and I can't eat pork. When I explained that to them. They were rude and did not compensate me for the mistake. Family has been ordering from Colonial Kitchen since 1995. They literally make the best cheesesteaks in Delco.

Colonial Kitchen is the best. 5 stars for sure. The girls answering the phone are really a pleasure to deal with, as well...

We wandered on over to check the place out per the rave reviews here on Yelp, and Colonial Kitchen more than lived up to its reputation. Charming corner neighborhood pizza joint right down to its brick exterior, with a friendly and obliging staff. The place looks unassuming as you walk in, but when you look past the counter you see a cozy dining room with friendly windows that peek out on attractive homes. The room would seat a few dozen comfortably for a small party. The menu is considerably more extensive than Yelp shows. And INDEEDILIDOODLY, the pizza is good. Traditional neighborhood pizza, a GOOD thick sauce, and there was no cutting corners on cheese. Everyone went out of their way to make my 8y.o. feel good for his birthday dinner of choice. This is what a local pizza place SHOULD look like, feel like, and taste like. read more

Something has changed here and not for the better. I grew up eating Colonial Kitchen's pizzas and steaks--both of which used to be excellent. I recently was back in town visiting my Mom in Delco and ordered a few pizzas. They were absolutely awful. Frozen crust, sauce from a jar, low quality cheese. Really, really bad. It never used to be this way. Not sure if they changed ownership or if they're just trying to save some money on ingredients, but whatever is going on it isn't good for the food. I don't think I'll be ordering here again, which makes me sad as CK used to be a go-to place for "Drexel Hill-Style" pizza and tasty cheesesteaks & hoagies. read more

When my friend came to town from New Zealand this is where I took him to get an authentic Philly cheese steak. There chicken Cheese steaks are the best. Service isn't too good. The girls that answers the phones have bad attitudes. I called in one time asked for a cheese steak. I told her "no onions" because previously they gave me onions..
