I'm a super picky mom because a lot of people can't get it right. They always cut it too short or they do something to mess up their beautiful curls. I give the salon a heads up about this so that they can be extra careful with my kids hair, yet some have failed. However, this time I met Mo and not only did she succeed she rocked it out!. I truly say I am happy with her work. Mo was very attentive, she took the time with my two-year-old to cut his hair, and most importantly she took the time to explain things to me about how his hair would turn out so we wouldn't lose the curls. Even while she cut my hair and I asked her about a specific thing with my kids here she went ahead and fixed it and made it very clear that she wanted me to be happy and she would do whatever it took for me to be happy with my kids hair. Saturday I have an appointment for my five year old and he is also very picky with his hair I'm excited to see how that turns out so far she's definitely someone I would stick with. Thank you Mo. There's only one reason why I did not give the full five stars. I have a very sensitive nose and I smelled cigarette on her hands, but that's just me personally.

In fact, I live in downtown Fredericksburg and work in North Stafford where there are 100s of fine salons I could go to, but I make the bi monthly, 45 minute drive out to KG to get my hair done by Amber because she can pretty much do no wrong when it comes to hair. I've been to decent stylists before, but none but Amber give you the impression that they are as passionate about your hair as you are. Her energy and imagination are limitless. My haircuts and color are flawless. I am always always always being stopped and asked where I have my hair done. That's probably why she's such a successful stylist. My recent experience was disappointing, and I would advise against purchasing gift certificates for this establishment. Despite scheduling a 60-minute massage a week in advance, communication was poor--I had to follow up via email as calls were not answered. On the day of my appointment, I was instructed by text to wait in my car until called. After waiting past my scheduled time, I entered the building and was met with an unfriendly reception. I was told my massage time would be reduced by 10 minutes due to being "late," despite following their instructions. I said, look at your camera you can see I have been in my car more than 20 minutes early for my appointment. I was then informed by a staff member they only saw a truck which I stated I was in VW bug on the other side of the truck! The time was rushed; I didn't even have my clothes all off before the masseuse barged back into the room. My requests for specific areas to be addressed were ignored several times. The staff were not welcoming, and the environment was not relaxing either. This wasn't the experience my friend hoped for when she gave me a certificate to mark my eight years cancer-free. Unfortunately, I made sure to contact my friend who gave me the gift certificate and tell her about bad experience. I will not return and do not recommend Barefoot Wellness in Prince Frederick, MD. If you're considering Annapolis, I recommend visiting one of the Wellness Houses there. You'll be treated well and leave feeling renewed.
