I have a lot of issues dealing with bursitis in my hips and a torn hamstring... and going untreated for a long time has caused my muscles to compensate and not work correctly. I had my initial visit with Darrell, which he was very informative and personable. I have also seen Parker and Jared and they are fantastic as well. Jared even was able to fix my left leg being longer than my right leg by doing something with my joints. All this stuff is a little over my head, but whatever they do seems to be working! I'm hoping that I am able to be fixed so I can get back to my rigorous yoga routine and 5k walks without my hips being in pain.

When that was done I waited another 20 minutes to be sat in the drs office while he worked on others that came in after me. 3 other people.... my advice is not to overbook yourself to where your patients are awaiting an hour and a half to be cared for and still leaving in the same amount of pain because all I got was a tens unit....

I feel like I'm getting a good workout on my target areas each time I'm there, and I appreciate the one on one attention. She thinks about what is needed with my care regularly, she updates my exercises for home regularly, and the time I'm with her is spent exercising, which I like. The office is clean, full of good equipment, and I like the bikes to warm up with. I also like how there is a measure of privacy with the way the office is laid out, and that each client seems to be focused on by their particular doctor/practitioner. I was referred to Hilltop due to pelvic floor dysfunction from my son's delivery. I had no control…read moreof my bladder; not only sneezing, coughing, and exercising caused leaks, but throughout the day and night, I would have to wear pads for incontinence. This issue affected every aspect of my life, as well as became a burden on our finances, as buying pads every few weeks is no small thing. The first appointment I had, the receptionist set me up on a schedule, (twice a week) and booked all the appointments through two straight months so I would be certain to be seen. Leah was amazing in walking me through every exam and work out, telling me I was in control every step of the way, and to let her know if I was ever uncomfortable or in pain. She respected my privacy, explained the reasoning behind any intimate questions she had, and made me feel completely at ease in her care. Kristen helped fine tune problem areas, and gave me additional advice and exercises. I admit, her methods were less comprehensible to me, but no less effective. Both therapists were wonderful, and I highly recommend them. I am now at the point where I am progressing enough independently that today was my last appointment. My issue that used to affect about 86% of my life is reduced to a mere 25% issue. Because of the personalised work outs, therapies, and professional help I was given, I have every reason to believe I'll recover fully by the time my son is weaned. I hope more women become aware of services like this to help restore pelvic floor function after childbirth. As Leah assures me, it's a very common problem, but it is NOT normal, and you can repair it without surgical procedures or pessaries.
