When Dr. Blank finally came in to see me he was pleasant and had some good options for how to handle my issue.

It was obvious Dr Mudrick had been overbooked and was running significantly behind. At 3:30 after another patient was called back, a gentleman asked the individual if she was Dr. Mudrick's nurse. She responded yes. He then asked how far behind Dr Mudrick was running and said "I'm a doctor." The nurse asked his name, looked at her pages of patients and responded "you're at 3:40, I'll be calling you next." That got my attention and I responded "excuse me, my appointment was at 3:10 and I'm leaving" which I did. There are any number of highly recommended orthopedic surgeons in the Richmond area. And unfortunately a supposedly great doctor can be tremendously undermined by his/her staff

Arrived on time and was brought back to the room by his medical assistant who informed me she didn't know why scheduling had made a new patient appointment bc Dr Bala was not taking new patients; he would see me today but that was it. Met with the doc who ordered blood draw and inquired about general heath and diet. Visit went OK and I was on my way. I later looked up my record which read like a top-down report as though I was ignorant of various diet and heath protocols. Then I looked at the billing. He had billed the visit as an ANNUAL physical WITHOUT telling me. Such arrogance and entitlement to commit such fraud. I am working in resolving the billing and won't be back. Doctor Bala: YOU'RE FIRED!

She was at least 30 minutes late to each appointment and when she'd finally arrive, she'd just repeat the nurse's questions in a weirdly accusatory tone. It would take weeks for her to refill a prescription. I had to call the office every day for weeks at a time to check the status of my refill only for her to put in a request for an entirely different medication that had serious mental health side-effects. All of this could've been easily avoided if she read any of the medical records that I had provided her with. It was like she'd go out of her way to make this extremely difficult year even harder, and it was so obvious. I'd laugh at the entire situation if it wasn't so depressing. Everyone else in the office was nice and extremely helpful, but I've never met a more callous and blatantly disrespectful doctor.

Cheryl Belle is so damn lazy! I told her im traveling and need vaccines so she said that its not her job and she recommends going to a travel clinic. I ended up calling one and since they didnt have any appointments till after my trip they recommend a pharmacy. So ended up going to one and they said i need a prescription. When i called the doc for one she said she doesn't know the dosage since "its not her job" and shes willing to write one but doesn't know how much i need cus its not her specialty. Wtf are you a doc for then?? Just go on the damn cdc site and do your damn job! I ended up having a nother doctor send in that prescription. I guess she was too busy to bother her self with a 3 minute google search. And when i did a blood work the phlebotomist was super old with shaky hands popped both my veins on both arms and ended up telling me i was moving alot. So if u want a new doc try to avoid Belle, cus if she was too lazy to look up vaccines lord knows what else she may be too lazy to do.

I was hesitant at first but after visiting their website, reading reviews, and listening to several people tell me great things about it. I made an appointment. After my first appointment I was hooked! Dr. Sam is incredibly friendly, professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable, he helped breakdown what I was feeling, what he would be doing in each session and then where I might be sore or feel some pain the next day - he was SPOT ON with each. He is careful with his movements and really walks you through everything. I worked with Mel as well and she was extremely helpful in helping me work through some of the exercises, some modifications, and to help with next steps. Both were extremely patient with the number of questions I asked - which was A LOT! Dr. Sam is also incredibly accessible, he gave me his card during my first appointment and reiterated several times that I could reach him by phone, text or email. I did have some questions after my first appointment (about 24 hrs later), I sent him a quick email and responded within the hour with advice, suggestions, and recommendations. The work he did and the resources/exercises they gave me after only two sessions has cleared up my pain and they have assured me that if I stick with the exercises and listen to the warning signs I should be good to go. I am extremely happy with the results and highly recommend anyone who is feeling any sort of pain to make an appointment to see Dr. Sam Brinkley!
