I would get massages frequently that would alleviate the pain for a day or so but always returned. I called him on an especially excruciating day and lucky for me he had a spot open the very next day for new patients. The first visit took almost two hours. He evaluated my posture, my habits, and lifestyle. He saw that my neck and head protruded far out from my head and was what was causing my muscle pains and discomfort. He showed me how to appropriately set up my work space so that I don't hurt myself further and gave me the rundown on good bags and bad bags for my neck and spine. He also recommended that I get x-rays but was able to do the first adjustment that day. I saw him twice a week for a month or so and then have lessened my time as I have become more "in line." He is a great listener, takes copious notes, and obviously cares about the well being of his patients. I would recommend him to anyone, he has literally changed my life and made it pain free.

My primary PT, Nnamdi, has been great to work with, responsive to my changing needs and a funny and motivating guy in general. The chiropractor, Dr Bazley, has also played a role in my recovery as needed. The front office staff is super friendly and easy to work with regarding scheduling and any health insurance concerns. The office seems to have recently opened so everything is up to date and modern including their scheduling and billing system which helpfully sends a reminder text the day before my appt and also emails me the receipt for my co-pay. There's plenty of parking in the area and it is a very convenient location for me, a NE DC resident. Im almost done with my PT and will miss their motivation but they've helped me build both the muscle and confidence I need to maintain a healthy post surgery back.

I finally decided to seek help, so after come online studying I found Mirando Chiropractic in my neighborhood of northwest DC. I received treatment from Dr. Mirando himself, and he could immediately tell that something was off. A few x-rays later, his suspicions were confirmed--thanks to the accident, my entire spine, from the cervical down to the lumbar, had been shifted around, pinching an entire set of nerves in my side, and my pelvis was tilted so that one of my legs was shorter than the other! Pretty crazy. Ten minutes, eight adjustments, a series of loud snaps and a rush of endorphins later, Mirando's treatment transformed me into a new woman, a better woman, or at least of woman with a straighter back and less pain.
