Every year I make the drive [super out of my way from gambrills] to oxon hill to get my physical completed. Other places like concentra will make you wait for hours upon hours, and then on top of that they will nitpick every aspect of your health. [Oh, you can't run a 4 minute mile? DENIED!!] It's almost as if they're trying not to pass you, or put you in a position where you have to come back to them several times before they will give you a full D.O.T. physical card for the year. Dr Choi builds a relationship with his patients, and works with those that have concerns, but he does it without having the feel of a overzealous parole officer. Even in a crowded waiting room, the wait times aren't that bad. You'll be in and out, and back on the road in no time!

I've been having chronic knee pain for 2 years and finally broke down and went to see a physical…read moretherapist. My doctor referred me to AZ Pain management and I made an appointment. I showed up at my appointment time, filled out the paperwork and was instantly seen by the therapist. My therapist was Ernesto Aguila, RPT. After a few minutes, questions, and some pokes and prods. He knew what was the issue and started me on my therapy. Just two sessions later and i'm feeling enormously better and he estimates ill be able to continue my therapy on my own in just a couple weeks. Bottom line. The atmosphere is friendly, the therapist that I dealt with was super friendly and VERY knowledgeable, and they don't try and prolong your treatment just to keep making money. They understand that you want to get back to pain free living ASAP and do their best to help you along the way.

The nurse at the 'window' (a different nurse from when I initially scheduled) researched to see if they would take my insurance, after about 25 minutes of waiting, the nurse tells me they don't accept my insurance. How is it a 'doctors office' and their staff are not on the same page with acceptable insurance. The office is old and dingy. This was a complete waste of my time.

Dr Drake does not like women he is abrasive and has a horrible bedside manner. He has many providers that were wonderful but they all left because he was horrible to work for. So now he is the only one you can see until he can train someone else. Steer clear of this place.

He asks the same questions that you answered on the paperwork even though you spent 45 minutes filling it out. He talks over you, is very condescending and doesn't let you voice your concerns. He has TERRIBLE bedside manners. When confronted with these issues he will get defensive and slam a door in your face. I've never been treated so poorly by a doctor anywhere in my life.
