Elderly abuse company. If you do business watch out. Marian is very rude and obnoxious. Installed a sensor in 5 minutes and charged $165. Sensor was defective. New sensor received under warranty and Collier wanted $90 to install. Rheem water heater rep said too much. Big time rip offs for elderly. Classic case of abuse. read more

very bad attitude on the phone when ask the price quote, don't want to give the job to this company.

Just want to give a quick review. Had Austin come in and replace a failed gas valve on a new Rheem water heater. He came in quickly replaced the part and let me know what was going on too. Very knowledgeable and courteous staff and I would recommend this service to anybody. Thank guys!! read more

Amazing service! Water heater gas valve went out late Thursday night -- was expecting no hot water for the weekend, hoping at best we could get someone by Saturday. Called Collier first thing Friday AM -- They had a plumber here within half an hour. Austin was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable, within an hour of calling we had the valve replaced and enjoyed a hot shower that morning. All of this excellent service and at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of fast, professional plumbing work. Couldn't be happier!!! read more

Extremely happy with same day service and the customer service, called early @745 in the morning, I spoke with Lhesley, (who was very nice and professional on the phone) she asked for my city, and was able to schedule me the same day. They did not ask for payment up front, since I was at work, I was able to process a CC over the phone with her after the work was completed. They are a Very trustworthy, company which is hard to find these says, I highly recommend this collier plumbing. Thank you, Jesse Hernandez read more

My water heater is leaking and they came out same day to replace. very friendly and helpful. I will be keeping them on file for future needs read more

Pilot on a fairly new water heater failed to stay on. Collier came out in 20 minutes fixed the problem within 15 minutes. While here, I had them attach 2 hose bibs on two separate water lines which they did in less than twenty minutes. The service charge for all work was very reasonable. They are competent, efficient, friendly and have my strongest recommendation. I have not needed a plumber for decades...but it sure a comfort to know a GREAT ONE is at hand should the need arise. I am pleased to offer this review especially as I am not prone to do so unless duly impressed....I am!! read more

Zach was out at my house today to do some work on my water heater. He arrived promptly after I was told he would be there, and greeted me with a firm handshake. When Zach saw my water heater, and saw the THREE parts from GE, he told me what was wrong right away. He was able to get me the right part, install it, and get me hot water in no time. Not only did he explain the problems; but, his professionalism was top notch. I'm so thankful he knew what was wrong and made people at GE look like fools. read more

STAY AWAY!!! STAY AWAY!!.....We contracted Collier Plumbing to do some plumbing work for our home. They were suppose to move our pool equipment and re-locate our sprinkler lines and gas pipes. After they completed the job, the Gas Company came out and shut off our gas and told us that Collier Plumbing was the cause of this leak. I called Collier Plumbing and they came out to redo the work but no luck, they could not fix the Gas leak that they had caused. After several attempts in contacting them to fix the problem or refund our money, they were never to be heard from again. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and I am planning to take legal actions on this matter. Please STAY AWAY from Collier Plumbing unless you want to deal with people who does not take responsibility for their work. read more

First off the hours on yelp are incorrect. They don't open until 8:30. I couldn't find an after hours or weekend number in case of an emergency. I rent a townhome in Rancho. My pilot light on my water heater kept going out. I still had hot water but lighting it every other day was a pain plus I knew there must be an issue. Collier Plumbing sticker was on the water heater so they either serviced it or installed it so I called them. The lady was very nice and got some out there the next day which was Tuesday. The time given was between 10-12. I work from home that day so it was fine. He showed up about 11:52 and was done in about 20 mins. He said parts were still under warranty and he replaced the status box and the wiring. I didn't notice but the light on the status box was apparently blinking more than just the once every 3 seconds. That night I went to shower and no hot water. Looked at the status light and sure enough it showed Replace Burner. So I left a voicemail hoping right when they opened someone would come out. I had to stay home and wait. Around 9:15 I got a call same nice lady said she'd get him to come back. She did suggest I call the manufacture to get labor covered but I can't wait for hot water until god knows when. Same guy came out said yep it says to replace burner. Put in a brand new burner , was done in like 15 mins and told me except for the tank you have a completely new water heater. So Wednesday night it was great, Thursday morning, then Thursday night I go shower again no hot water and again " replace burner" . What sucks is there is no emergency appt line. So even though clearly they didn't replace it right or the new part was bad both not normal wear and tear, I am stuck either missing work or trying to figure out a way to have someone there. And what if they do "fix" it today and tomorrow which is Saturday, it doesn't work again, Then I'm stuck until Monday! *update . I talked to the office on Friday who said she would speak with the tech. She suggested I could call another company if I wanted them to check the work but that most of what the do is water heaters. They sent someone on Friday who said everything seemed to be replaced and as long as I kept the heat setting a A it should be ok . But if there were any more issues then we probably needed to replace the water heater. Well guess what Saturday no hot water again. Had a different company come out and guess what? It was not fixed correctly! This company did suggested replacing the water heater is one option because then it would again have a warranty. However he was also able to diagnose the exact issue! I guess I should've know when all 4 times Collier came out combined, didn't equal to the time the new company spent diagnosing the issue! read more

I called these guys because they were on my warranty insurance. However, not only did they came very late, rude, but also did not fix the water heater leaking issue. They even wrote us a service charge asking for $175 for not doing anything. AVOID AT ALL COST and don't waste your time and money on these people. read more

Zach & Cameron are amazing! Fixed the problem in no time: water heater. They had parts on them. Called Collier after a horrible company- Genaros came out. read more

This is one of the best plumbing company I ever experienced. We had a water heater problem, with a rare model. We called some 4 companies, 3 of which are authorized service for this make of water heater. One company was charging $280 even to come and look at it. Collier Plumbing carefully listened to the problem, figured out whether they have the spare parts in stock and then made the appointment. The tech (Phil) appeared at the appointed time, and worked for nearly 2 hours to fix the problem which cost $198 including the parts. He then fixed a shower problem (took nearly 30 min) and charged only $45 additional. I highly recommend Phil as well as Collier Plumbing. In fact I have an unrelated problem (refrigerator leak) today, and have called Collier again. I will report in a few hours on this experience. read more

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Don't waste your time or money and keep searching for another plumbing company. So I had the TOTAL opposite interaction with Norma. I had a water heater go out that I bought from HD. I must say the warranty and customer service of the guys at Rheem was top notch. Anyhow, it turns out that I needed to replace the gas control valve. The guy told me they would ship it out and it will arrive in two business days, and that a local plumbing company will be calling me to setup installation. This was on Thursday evening so that meant the part wouldn't arrive until Monday. On Friday I got a call from Norma and she wanted to setup the appointment for that day. I explained I didn't have the part yet and I won't have it until Monday. So we should set something up for Tuesday. She asked if we had hot water, and I told her no. She said don't worry, you're going to have hot water today. She told me she would check to see if any of her techs had the valve on their truck and within 30 minutes we had an appointment for early afternoon on Friday! She told me when the part arrives just to let her know and they could come pick it up. One other thing, Dillon, the tech who came out and fixed the water heater was nothing but class. Very cool guy and didn't leave until he was sure we were going to have hot water. It turns out not only was the gas control valve faulty but he changed out the thermopile and safety shutoff device. He had a used thermopile that had some juice in it, but he called that part in with Rheem and will re-install it when it arrives. He had the safety shutoff in his truck and replaced that also. Basically it's a new water heater. I must say the whole positive experience started with Norma making sure we had hot water sooner than later. She was awesome to deal with and spoke very good and clear English. And Dillon...not much more to say other than the guy knew what he was doing and am was fun to chat with while he was working. So huge thank you to Norma and Dillon and Collier plumbing. read more

I have had Collier out a few times for different problems. They have always arrived when they said they would. They have also been able to quickly identify and fix every issue. The plumbers have been extremely knowledgable, and even spent time teaching me a few things so that I could avoid future problems. To top things off, the prices are reasonable, and they have been accommodating when having multiple things fixed. I would highly recommend Collier to anyone looking for straight-forward, honest solutions for their plumbing problems. I plan to have them out again soon to service my tankless water heater. read more

Friendly service, Quickly replaced thermocouple on water heater, charged 135. Will keep them on file for future plumbing issues

Their tech went above and beyond, to fix my hot water heater and calling the manufacturer for me. Couldn't ask for better service!!

This company is awesome! I realized late in the evening that the pilot went out on my water heater and they sent someone the next morning. They replaced the pilot ignition that was defective and still under warranty. It went out again that same evening but they sent someone first thing the next morning and resolved the issue. They are very honest and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing service. read more

I recently had my water heater repaired due to a faulty component. I must admit that I'm a very discerning customer that expects only the best, and I was extremely pleased with the service I received from the service technician Michael. He was polite, efficient and very informative with my questions. The receptionist was a delight to deal with and I most certainly recommend Collier Plumbing to all my friends and family. It's hard to find this level of exceptional service at a reasonable price! read more

Austen at Collier Plumbing is a great plumbing technician. We called because our Grunfos Recirculation pump motor start getting very hot to the touch and the water was not recirculating. Austen came out and said the motor was bad and needed replacement. He called our Home Warranty and got everything approved. Austen went out found the new system and within a couple of hours our hot water was circulating perfectly throughout the house. Austen went above and beyond to help us. Thank you Austen at Collier Plumbing. read more

My Rheem hot water heater has been something close to a "lemon" ever since we put it in last July. First, it wouldn't light. (This, despite advanced technology and a powered vent, all of which were supposed to make it more efficient and easy to monitor.) At the "11th hour" of our second day without hot water, I finally got their help desk people to tell me how to REBOOT the thing. Then it happened again--in the rain. Having saved the instructions "just in case", i managed to reboot it once more. This time my help desk call merely confirmed that I had it back running again. Two nights ago, it died a third time. This time, I couldn't reboot it. No matter what I tried, it was toast, and the error code wouldn't change. (As it turns out, the help desk told me the error code signifies "sensor lockout", so there was no way it would start. They would send me a new sensor and walk me through the install. I pressed for something better than waiting for an express package, and they came up with Collier Plumbing, who actually had the right sensor in stock. They dispatched Austin to my house to do the job. I couldn't even be there for the sensor change-out, as I was at the shop waiting for my car to be fixed. My water heater is housed on an outside wall, but it's still awkward to get to, because there's house-high bottle brush on either side of the door, and the entry itself is positioned five feet higher than my neighbor's yard below--with a river rock retaining wall to get over. (Not a problem if one has the right size stepladder or platform, but a pain to negotiate in any event. Imagine explaining this to your technical support person via cellphone conversation!) Austin took it all in stride. He found the door, got up on our level, and went to work. He replaced the sensor and reported back to me that he had re-started my hot water heater--all in the space of a half an hour or less. How can you beat that? read more

We used Collier Plumbing through our home warranty. Our garbage disposal was not functioning and they were sent out to service our disposal and they recommended replacement. We paid a 60 dollar fee for their services. The new disposal is not functioning and we contacted Collier and spoke w Leslie who was less than helpful. She directed us back to our home warranty for a work order Our issue is there should be a manufacturers warranty for the disposal that is now not functioning. My husband stated he would not pay another 60 dollar fee as they had installed a faulty disposal- she stated we would have to and we would have to go thru the warranty co as we are not their customer but the warranty companies. We paid Collier directly - we are their customer. My husband asked to speak w her supervisor and he "was not available". We contacted the home warranty co and attempted to have a conference call w Leslie. She would not answer the phone as she recognized my husband number. I called on my phone and she answered immediately. When I placed her on the call w the warranty co and my husband she said she couldn't speak to them. This business is shady and they don't stand behind their work or products. DONT USE THEM!!!!!!!!! Our warranty co has apologized for Collier plumbing's behavior and are sending out a new co at no charge!!! read more

I highly recommend Collier Plumbing! I could not get the pilot light lit on our 3 year old Rheem hot water heater and called a company from Angie's List. The guy came out and never touched the hot water heater before telling me that it was the entire pilot assembly. His charge to replace it was $386! I declined and called GE to get a recommendation to repair. They recommended Collier, and I am happy I called them! Leslie sent out Austen the same afternoon. He was professional and friendly, and replaced the thermo for 1/3 of the price I was previously quoted! Thanks so much Collier! read more

Fantastic job Collier Plumbing! We had a slab leak under the hall bathroom, called Collier spoke to Leslie (she's Awesome, super helpful and very understanding). She had John come out with Nick to locate the leak. It was raining but that didn't slow them down one bit. Needless to say they found the leak and fixed it, but had to cut a hole in the bathtub to reach it, the whole thing was covered under our home owners insurance. Since we were going to redo that bathroom anyway, we decided to move the toilet and shower. We called them back out, John and Nick came back out and it was raining again, lol. Both had a positive attitude and Jon was very helpful with bathroom ideas. Great team at Collier Plumbing, reasonable pricing with friendly service, 5 stars all with way. Thank you, Paula read more

Broken water heater. Called in the morning and got a time frame between 11:00am and 2:00pm. Called at 3:30pm to get an update on the plumber because he was now one and a half hours late. The secretary said, "Oh, I thought he completed that job, let me check." After about 5 minutes on hold she says, "Oh, our plumber got stuck on another job and never called us, the best we can do is first thing Monday morning." She could care less that I have a family and could only offer a half hearted apology. She wasn't even interested in trying to fix the problem by having a plumber come out anyway..they do say their hours are from 7:00am to 5:00pm. Heck, pay a guy overtime, at least you are fixing a problem that YOU created and keeping a customer. As soon as I hung up the phone I called another plumber who actually cared about my situation and my family. He will be out first thing tomorrow to look at my water heater. There are a ton of plumbers online, save your money for a plumber that puts the customer first and has integrity...Collier Plumbing is not one of those businesses. read more

Awesome people. Called them at 8:00 this morning and water heater was fixed by 9:30. Very courteous and helpful.

I have a Rheem water heater, and it did not work on Saturday. I contacted Rheem, and they referred me to another repair company that is open on weekends. Contacted that company, however that company kept postponing my appointment and didn't show up on the day they guaranteed. We didn't have hot water for 5 days. We were so disappointed and decided to give up on that company. We called Collier Plumbing. We live far from Collier, but they are still willing to come to our house. They came and fixed my water heater the second day first thing in the morning. They know the product very well and they found out the issue right away. My water heater was fixed within 30 minutes. I should have contacted Collier Plumbing instead of the other company so we don't need to suffer from cold water for 5 days. Now I know Collier is the place to call if my water heater is not working. The other company I mentioned is General Installation. So Please avoid General Installation as they are not reliable at all! read more

The gentleman that answered the phone asked me a few questions and dispatched a technician immediately. Austen showed up within 30 minutes. Identified the problem as a bad thermal coupler and my striker needed adjustment. He had it fixed in about 20 minutes. Charge was $135.00 total. In and out. I couldn't be happier. read more

After getting a quote from Klaus and Sons for $1600 I called Collier. The guys came out and quoted me $500 for the same job. The guys at Collier were great and did a nice job from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company. read more

A big thank you to Ms. Colleen and a fine young gentleman by the name of Dylan. I can't say enough about how this dynamic duo took care of our water heater situation. If you need a personal reference from me, then just let me know. In less than 24 hours, we had the part via FedEx, multiple follow up calls, on time arrival of Dylan who knew his stuff, was caring, professional, sincere, and the list goes on and on. I mean it folks, these gals and guys did a fine job and it makes me happy to at least share my thoughts with you all. To the customers out there, just remember to treat people with kindness and respect. Also, Rheem Manufacturing Company representatives spoke very highly about Collier Plumbing and their team. Hats off to both Jason and Allen from Rheem for being super heroes in making this situation instantly a non event. It is amazing what we take for granted such as hot water. Again folks, be good to the people who come to service your home and related items. They work hard --- trust me, they work just as hard and probably much harder than most folks. Be good to them and they will be good to you. What else can you ask for. You are inviting a stranger into your home to help you in a time of need. Treat them better than family. They are coming to save your buns so just be cool. Well, there is so much more I can say. The bottom line is, I can definitely recommend Collier Plumbing for water heater issues. I bet they are good at many other projects as well. It just happens that my issue was the hot water heater. OK, take care ya'all. read more

I don't write a lot of reviews but the guy Mike Juttner who worked on my Rheem water heater was awesome. Let me preface my comments by saying that I got this work done via warranty so I don't know too much about pricing and all that stuff as the repair was covered by warranty, but the plumber Mike really went out of his way to do a awesome job to fix the water heater in about hour. We didn't have hot water for 5 days and Mike fixes it in less than a hour. After he fixed the leak he found he stayed to check if there was more leakage and drained all the water out of the bottom while replacing the pilot cover for the water heater cause he said it was faulty. Explained to me all the different problems that could be the problem and how to troubleshoot them by myself if I need to. I don't know the Collier plumbing too much but this is one awesome worker, would definitely call for work again. Awesome work, quick service, thanks Mike Juttner. read more

Well at first I thought they were great we had a problem with out water heater and they came the next day and fixed it they charged us 135 I believe and then the next day the water heater did not work anymore so we called them again explained the situation and said they would send some one out to my home again and since we were still on the 30 day guarantee there was no charge and when they came down again they said they fixed it for sure this time and then two days later again the water heater broke down when we called them and told them that it was still broken apparently I was talking to the manager at this time and I was explaining to him that they need to send someone to fix it and since we were still under the 30 day guarantee that I was not going to pay them more but he said that he was going to charge us half price if I wanted them to come back out to my home because it is not there fault that we had bought a piece of shit water heater those were the exact words so I do not recommend this company because they do not stand by there guarantee. read more
