My Rheem sprung a leak after 11 months. It was the plastic drain valve gasket I called Rheem, they said they'd have a local plumber call me within the hour. I got a phone call from Collier plumbing. So we set up an appointment for that afternoon and they were here in less than an hour and a half. So, his name was Jacob, he did an absolutely incredible job fixing the water heater. He did this all within an hour and a half and I'm very happy So, Jacob not only was friendly, helpful, courteous, honest and pleasant, but he's very knowledgeable in plumbing at least with water heaters so I say kudos Jacob job well done My Rheem is working absolutely beautiful now. My two year old water heater stopped working. I called Colliers plumbing around noon on a Friday. They sent a plumber out to me within a four hour window. The plumber (Jacob) was so pleasant. He explained what was going on with the water heater. He diagnosed the problem and replaced all the parts. He then tested the water heater, and I am a happy camper! I am so happy with this company and most of all Jacob. read more

Had Collier Plumbing install my water heater in the past and everything went well. I kept their business card just in case i needed other work done in the future. Flash forward I needed some plumbing work done since my toilet and pipes were backed up. Called and asked if they can send someone over to take a look and flush the plumbing. The lady on the phone said she will check with her plumbers and send someone over today if possible. I told her it was urgent since my family can't use the restroom etc. She called back a few minutes later and said someone will come by within the hour. When the plumber came by, he looked for literally 5 minutes and said he did not have the tools to fix this because the company did not tell him what needed to be done. He said he could come back and do it tomorrow. I told him i needed it fixed today but he said he had no time or tools and to call someone else. Fine with me. I call a different company and they were able to fix it that day. The next morning, the lady from Collier calls and demands $150 dollars. I ask why because nothing was done and it's out of my control that the plumber did not have the right tools with him. She yells at me and says it's for the mileage and travel and doesn't matter even if nothing was done. I tell her no and she says "you call a million times yesterday to send someone one out and we did". I only called once and she called back to verify the address. Called one time too many I guess. But how are you about to charge me $150 for stopping by and not doing anything?! She also didn't indicate there was a fee to send anyone out initially. Again, not my problem they didn't have tools. Collier came out to my residence in July 2020 to install a control box on my water heater that was under warranty. The control box indicated it had failed. When they came, the technician said the problem wasn't the control box and changed out a thermal coupler. Fast forward five months, water heater is indicating that the control box failed. Called Collier and advised them of the problem. I was told that the heater was serviced and working when they left. The problem is they never changed out what they were suppose to change out. Basically told me we got paid and you're screwed. Don't trust this business for your plumbing needs. I'm pretty sure they charged the insurance full service completed. read more

Wow, I have never been humiliated and lied upon by anybody worse than Norma from Collier Plumbing. Here is the story, a month ago I called them to flush my Rinnai water heater and the guy that they sent did a good job. So 45 days lapsed, apparently my heat exchanger is now leaking, so I called them again to have them looked at. The appointment was made the day before and it was for an emergency. I was in the meeting and unable to pick up the call, and they almost missed my appointment time because I was not picking up my call. It is partly my fault. Jacob came and did the diagnostic with Rinnai tech on the phone confirming that the heat exchanger needs to be replaced. Fast forward, I called Norma to have the heat exchanger replaced and she quoted me $675. I questioned why? I told her that the parts should be free because it's still under warranty. She told me that Rinnai charged $165 for a change out fee (whatever that is). I trusted her words and asked for a discount, so she gave me $575 instead. So far so good. Fast forward on Monday. They are supposed to show up at 8am today to fix my water heater; however nobody showed up. So I called Norma asking what's going on? She was talking in the back ground grumpily "that guy always lazy, he did not show up again?" (there is a mute button in your phone, FYI) She got a hold of her plumber, but apparently there was a mishap, a work with the same name with different jobs. But how could that be? So I asked Norma what would happen? She was flustered and quickly turned rude. She told me to find out what is going on myself to Rinnai. She gave me the order number S000****486 to call Rinnai myself, and I called Rinnai myself to find out. Then this where all hell broke loose; I was surprised, Rinnai never charge $165 for change out fee when parts are still under warranty and there was no heat exchanger either sent to Collier as they claimed to be. I spoke with Alicia from Rinnai who gave me my case number and part to order. So at this time, I am angry, confused, and really not knowing what to do. Collier did not even promise to come to fix my water heater. So, I asked Rinnai about another approved Plumber and they gave me another Plumber in the area. I gave him a call and he quoted me $400 for the heat exchanger replacement. Now, I even more furious because Collier Plumbing wanted to charge me extra $165 non existent fee and slapped it into the bill as labor fee. Then, Jacob from Collier called and he told me the heat exchanger will be there by 12pm today. WHAT? I just got off the phone with Rinnai representative who told me no parts was sent to anyone. I called Norma again, and she turned ballistic after I confronted her lies. I asked her regarding all of the facts I got from Rinnai. She turned violent and asked who was the Rinnai representative I just spoke to. After I gave her the Rinnai representative I just spoke to, and asked her who was the Rinnai representative she spoke to, she balked and turned violent. She kept saying "Listen to me!", but she herself did not want to listen to my concerns. I reminded her that I am her customer, and she shot back "I am also a customer at other time, not just you!" I said "WOW!" She kept pronouncing my name wrong AND I kept correcting her. Then she asked "You must be born here, I came from another country you know?" "What the??? I told her I also came from another country, not an English native speaker, but I will not repeatedly spell my customer's name wrong!" She hung up after that. I am glad, I don't have to deal with this company. Rude as hell, no commitment to do the job correctly and BEWARE, they are tagging NON EXISTENT FEE even to your WARRANTIED PARTS. I opened yelp to write this review and I was so glad that I did not go with them based on yelp review (Why I did not think about that previously? Just go with Rinnai first choice! NOT WISE!!!). After $270 I spent with them, and not a single regards from them for a returning customer... AVOID!!! And when they want to SCAM their customers, I am glad they are not that smart, they EXPOSED their SCAM to their customer themselves. And CALLING OUT BASED ON RACE AND LANGUAGE. SHAME ON YOU! First time call this co. for a water heater parts replacement. We already received the thermostat from manufacturer and Collier sent a tech for the job. He checked and found that the sensor is also bad which I don't have but could have the manufacturer send since it was under parts warranty. The very nice gentleman used the part that he has in his van, replaced it with no extra charge. ordered the part from the manufacturer and told me that he will come back to pick up the sensor when shipment arrived from the manufacturer. Instead of having us wait for couple more days without hot water, or having us pay for the part if we chose not to wait.... I can't say enough thank you and being so considerate... W O W I was a little discouraged when I reached out to other plumbers for a warranty work on my tankless water tank and found out a lot of them don't even know what they're talking about. They didn't even know the local big supplier other than Home Depot. But Collier? referred by several of my neighbors in my community, I called and even the lady on the phone knew exactly what I was talking about, cut straight to pricing without all the back and forth and John even showed up EARLY to the scheduled time slot. 25 years of experience, super down to earth, and hard working guy, what else could you ask for? He showed up on time, was super polite and answered my one-million questions. Jacob got to work right away testing the different sensors. I spoke to John on Friday 5/24, he told me I shouldn't worry that my check was stolen out of his truck. My personal information is already on the Internet, so it's not a big deal. Perhaps he doesn't realize anyone can do anything with a routing # and checking account #, let alone my personal information (name & address). Anyway, please note that when you are paying this company they will keep checks in their vehicle for days until someone safely brings it back to the office. And! If your check goes missing because of their blatant lack of responsibility - it'll be your responsibility to call your bank for a check stop (which they will charge you a fee for) and they'll expect you to drive your happy self to their office to pay them. Collier Plumbing truck was hauling major butt in my neighborhood... caught my eye because the driver was driving fast to beat the closing entrance gate... and had to disregard the speed bump placed before the gate.... This is the best place ever!!! I got an appointment the same day I called. Jacob was professional and very courteous. He tried to fix the problem, but soon realized the water heater was defective and needed to be replaced. Within two hours it was dismantled, returned to Home Depot, a new one was given as we were under warranty, and the new one installed. I am amazed at how quick we had hot water. Worst customer service ever with this company would highly suggest you go elsewhere to get any work done. This company failed to fix the issue and then refused to honor the warranty provided. The 30 day warranty they gave me expired 3 days ago.. I explained that This has been happening for like 2 weeks now but I had not called them because I am very immune compromised and didn't want to expose myself as I would be the person to see him and deal with him. I told him I planned on waiting until this was all over as I still had intermittent hot water and was just dealing with the water getting cold a few times a day... but now there is NO hot water and I have small children. His response was: I don't care about what's going on... just because you didn't want to face the problem doesn't make it out problem and we shouldn't have to work for free!! Wtf?! The warranty expired LESS than a week ago! I explained to you why I CAN'T face the public... how do you not care?! And he just kept laughing at me saying none of this was his problem!! I being a business owner would always stand behind my work 100% and these guys are looking for every way and loophole to have to charge as a new job when they didn't even bother to actually listen to what's going on! Collier performed a warranty repair on my 50-gal gas water heater through Rheem manufacture. They were fast to respond, easy to set up the appointment, professional in the work, and went the extra mile in doing a great job! The manufacture told me to wait for the part to come in before the repair company can install the part. Collier called me to arrange the repair the very next day using their parts. This saved me an entire day without hot water. On top of that, my water heater was sitting in a metal containment base that prevented the metal valve cover from being properly attached and the nice repairman helped me cut the metal cover to fit inside the base. Our water heater went out. We had jacob from collier come out and diagnose it. Turns out the ignitor, burner assembly, and a control board went out. Whirlpool had the parts to us in less than 48hrs, and collier bumped up the repair appointment so we had hot water sooner. Then to top it off collier's office contacted whirlpool, and managed to bill the labor to whirlpool, even though our warranty is expired. My husband received a call from Collier today but didn't schedule the appointment because the part hadn't been delivered yet. He told the man that he would call him back when the part arrived. About an hour later he called Collier back and the man on the phone was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. We have warranty work that we needed on an hot water heater. The man kept asking where we got the number and kept talking the phone number to Rheem. My husband even asked him if he had been drinking because he wasn't making sense. The man then said he would call back with an appointment. I called myself at about noon and got the same man. When I gave my name to the man and the fact that we were waiting for a callback , he said that he had never talked to anyone before about this. I told him that my husband had called at about 1100 and that someone said that they would call back. At that point he said "no i never said that, your husband was rude and hung up on me". I then said " I thought you said you never spoke to anyone about this call" . He then asked where we got his number. I told him that the original call came from this number. He said "no we didn't call anyone" . At that point I laughed because I guess I just pulled the number out of my hat. He then told me to call Rheem to report the problem because if he didn't have a "Ticket" we would get charged for the call. I told him that I had reported it to Rheem and thats how we made contact. He then said that my husband was calling the wrong number at Rheem and he rambled on for awhile about the number. I cut him off and said that I could find the number without his help. At the end of the call he again said he had never spoken with my husband and I told him that he was a bad liar because he couldn't remember a lie from the truth. Crooks, liars, thieves & jerks! Was "recommended" by my tankless water heater manufacture to assist in a warranty exchange. The technician did the initial groundwork for this process to begin. At the end he told me in addition to the labor for the water heater exchange I'd incur a $25-$200 "exchange" fee imposed by the plumbing supply. This was to take my old one out & turn it into the plumbing supply. WONDERFUL! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They came the same day and were able to fix a problem that other companies were not abled to fix. I worked with Jacob. He was very kind, personable and knowledgeable. They claimed it needed a new part that you can only get from the manufacturer. This company (starts with a G)... stated that it would take a few days to get the part. We waited for the part to arrive. Finally, we were told that they were unfamiliar with our water heater and they suggested that we contact another company. That is when we contacted Collier plumbing. Collier plumbing (specifically Jacob) was able to come look at the water heater immediately! They were able to diagnose the problem and fix it in under an hour!!!! I wish we would have called them sooner. We would not have been without hot water for 6 days if we had called them originally. Thank you Collier Plumbing!
